A flaw was found In 389-ds-base. When the Content Synchronization plugin is enabled, an authenticated user can reach a NULL pointer dereference using a specially crafted query. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service. This CVE is assigned against an incomplete fix of CVE-2021-3514.
CVE-2022-41751 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Jhead Project 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Jhead 2025-05-13 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Jhead 3.06.0.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands by placing them in a JPEG filename and then using the regeneration -rgt50 option.
CVE-2022-3517 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Minimatch Project 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Minimatch 2025-05-13 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in the minimatch package. This flaw allows a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) when calling the braceExpand function with specific arguments, resulting in a Denial of Service.
CVE-2016-1000342 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier ECDSA does not fully validate ASN.1 encoding of signature on verification. It is possible to inject extra elements in the sequence making up the signature and still have it validate, which in some cases may allow the introduction of 'invisible' data into a signed structure.
CVE-2018-1000180 5 Bouncycastle, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 21 Bc-java, Fips Java Api, Debian Linux and 18 more 2025-05-12 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Bouncy Castle BC 1.54 - 1.59, BC-FJA 1.0.0, BC-FJA 1.0.1 and earlier have a flaw in the Low-level interface to RSA key pair generator, specifically RSA Key Pairs generated in low-level API with added certainty may have less M-R tests than expected. This appears to be fixed in versions BC 1.60 beta 4 and later, BC-FJA 1.0.2 and later.
CVE-2016-1000343 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier the DSA key pair generator generates a weak private key if used with default values. If the JCA key pair generator is not explicitly initialised with DSA parameters, 1.55 and earlier generates a private value assuming a 1024 bit key size. In earlier releases this can be dealt with by explicitly passing parameters to the key pair generator.
CVE-2016-1000341 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier DSA signature generation is vulnerable to timing attack. Where timings can be closely observed for the generation of signatures, the lack of blinding in 1.55, or earlier, may allow an attacker to gain information about the signature's k value and ultimately the private value as well.
CVE-2016-1000345 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier the DHIES/ECIES CBC mode vulnerable to padding oracle attack. For BC 1.55 and older, in an environment where timings can be easily observed, it is possible with enough observations to identify when the decryption is failing due to padding.
CVE-2016-1000346 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier the other party DH public key is not fully validated. This can cause issues as invalid keys can be used to reveal details about the other party's private key where static Diffie-Hellman is in use. As of release 1.56 the key parameters are checked on agreement calculation.
CVE-2016-1000339 2 Bouncycastle, Debian 2 Bc-java, Debian Linux 2025-05-12 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
In the Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier the primary engine class used for AES was AESFastEngine. Due to the highly table driven approach used in the algorithm it turns out that if the data channel on the CPU can be monitored the lookup table accesses are sufficient to leak information on the AES key being used. There was also a leak in AESEngine although it was substantially less. AESEngine has been modified to remove any signs of leakage (testing carried out on Intel X86-64) and is now the primary AES class for the BC JCE provider from 1.56. Use of AESFastEngine is now only recommended where otherwise deemed appropriate.
CVE-2021-28831 3 Busybox, Debian, Fedoraproject 3 Busybox, Debian Linux, Fedora 2025-05-09 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
decompress_gunzip.c in BusyBox through 1.32.1 mishandles the error bit on the huft_build result pointer, with a resultant invalid free or segmentation fault, via malformed gzip data.
CVE-2021-26937 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Screen 2025-05-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
encoding.c in GNU Screen through 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid write access and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted UTF-8 character sequence.
CVE-2020-8165 3 Debian, Opensuse, Rubyonrails 3 Debian Linux, Leap, Rails 2025-05-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A deserialization of untrusted data vulnernerability exists in rails < 5.2.4.3, rails < 6.0.3.1 that can allow an attacker to unmarshal user-provided objects in MemCacheStore and RedisCacheStore potentially resulting in an RCE.
CVE-2022-3586 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-05-09 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s networking code. A use-after-free was found in the way the sch_sfb enqueue function used the socket buffer (SKB) cb field after the same SKB had been enqueued (and freed) into a child qdisc. This flaw allows a local, unprivileged user to crash the system, causing a denial of service.
CVE-2018-8032 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle 38 Axis, Debian Linux, Agile Engineering Data Management and 35 more 2025-05-08 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
Apache Axis 1.x up to and including 1.4 is vulnerable to a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack in the default servlet/services.
CVE-2022-37454 8 Debian, Extended Keccak Code Package Project, Fedoraproject and 5 more 8 Debian Linux, Extended Keccak Code Package, Fedora and 5 more 2025-05-08 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The Keccak XKCP SHA-3 reference implementation before fdc6fef has an integer overflow and resultant buffer overflow that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code or eliminate expected cryptographic properties. This occurs in the sponge function interface.
