| Archive_Tar through 1.4.10 has :// filename sanitization only to address phar attacks, and thus any other stream-wrapper attack (such as file:// to overwrite files) can still succeed. | |||||
| CVE-2020-36193 | 4 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 1 more | 2025-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Tar.php in Archive_Tar through 1.4.11 allows write operations with Directory Traversal due to inadequate checking of symbolic links, a related issue to CVE-2020-28948. | |||||
| CVE-2020-7247 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2025-11-07 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| smtp_mailaddr in smtp_session.c in OpenSMTPD 6.6, as used in OpenBSD 6.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root via a crafted SMTP session, as demonstrated by shell metacharacters in a MAIL FROM field. This affects the "uncommented" default configuration. The issue exists because of an incorrect return value upon failure of input validation. | |||||
| CVE-2019-16928 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Exim and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Exim and 1 more | 2025-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Exim 4.92 through 4.92.2 allows remote code execution, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-15846. There is a heap-based buffer overflow in string_vformat in string.c involving a long EHLO command. | |||||
| CVE-2020-11023 | 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 60 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 57 more | 2025-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.9 MEDIUM |
| In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.0.3 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | |||||
| CVE-2020-16846 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more | 2025-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| An issue was discovered in SaltStack Salt through 3002. Sending crafted web requests to the Salt API, with the SSH client enabled, can result in shell injection. | |||||
| CVE-2023-44487 | 32 Akka, Amazon, Apache and 29 more | 313 Http Server, Opensearch Data Prepper, Apisix and 310 more | 2025-11-07 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023. | |||||
| CVE-2019-13272 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel before 5.1.17, ptrace_link in kernel/ptrace.c mishandles the recording of the credentials of a process that wants to create a ptrace relationship, which allows local users to obtain root access by leveraging certain scenarios with a parent-child process relationship, where a parent drops privileges and calls execve (potentially allowing control by an attacker). One contributing factor is an object lifetime issue (which can also cause a panic). Another contributing factor is incorrect marking of a ptrace relationship as privileged, which is exploitable through (for example) Polkit's pkexec helper with PTRACE_TRACEME. NOTE: SELinux deny_ptrace might be a usable workaround in some environments. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4911 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 35 more | 2025-11-06 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2022-0847 | 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more | 39 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 36 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-41993 | 6 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 14 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 11 more | 2025-11-05 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7. | |||||
| CVE-2024-36048 | 2 Fedoraproject, Qt | 2 Fedora, Qt | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| QAbstractOAuth in Qt Network Authorization in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.6, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.1 uses only the time to seed the PRNG, which may result in guessable values. | |||||
| CVE-2024-34397 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glib and 1 more | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 5.2 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.78.5, and 2.79.x and 2.80.x before 2.80.1. When a GDBus-based client subscribes to signals from a trusted system service such as NetworkManager on a shared computer, other users of the same computer can send spoofed D-Bus signals that the GDBus-based client will wrongly interpret as having been sent by the trusted system service. This could lead to the GDBus-based client behaving incorrectly, with an application-dependent impact. | |||||
| CVE-2024-31497 | 6 Fedoraproject, Filezilla-project, Putty and 3 more | 6 Fedora, Filezilla Client, Putty and 3 more | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| In PuTTY 0.68 through 0.80 before 0.81, biased ECDSA nonce generation allows an attacker to recover a user's NIST P-521 secret key via a quick attack in approximately 60 signatures. This is especially important in a scenario where an adversary is able to read messages signed by PuTTY or Pageant. The required set of signed messages may be publicly readable because they are stored in a public Git service that supports use of SSH for commit signing, and the signatures were made by Pageant through an agent-forwarding mechanism. In other words, an adversary may already have enough signature information to compromise a victim's private key, even if there is no further use of vulnerable PuTTY versions. After a key compromise, an adversary may be able to conduct supply-chain attacks on software maintained in Git. A second, independent scenario is that the adversary is an operator of an SSH server to which the victim authenticates (for remote login or file copy), even though this server is not fully trusted by the victim, and the victim uses the same private key for SSH connections to other services operated by other entities. Here, the rogue server operator (who would otherwise have no way to determine the victim's private key) can derive the victim's private key, and then use it for unauthorized access to those other services. If the other services include Git services, then again it may be possible to conduct supply-chain attacks on software maintained in Git. This also affects, for example, FileZilla before 3.67.0, WinSCP before 6.3.3, TortoiseGit before 2.15.0.1, and TortoiseSVN through 1.14.6. | |||||
| CVE-2024-31031 | 2 Fedoraproject, Libcoap | 2 Fedora, Libcoap | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue in `coap_pdu.c` in libcoap 4.3.4 allows attackers to cause undefined behavior via a sequence of messages leading to unsigned integer overflow. | |||||
| CVE-2024-28960 | 2 Arm, Fedoraproject | 3 Mbed Crypto, Mbed Tls, Fedora | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS 2.18.0 through 2.28.x before 2.28.8 and 3.x before 3.6.0, and Mbed Crypto. The PSA Crypto API mishandles shared memory. | |||||

| libexpat through 2.6.1 allows an XML Entity Expansion attack when there is isolated use of external parsers (created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate). | |||||
| CVE-2024-27316 | 3 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp | 3 Http Server, Fedora, Ontap | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion. | |||||
| CVE-2024-25713 | 2 Fedoraproject, Ibireme | 2 Fedora, Yyjson | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| yyjson through 0.8.0 has a double free, leading to remote code execution in some cases, because the pool_free function lacks loop checks. (pool_free is part of the pool series allocator, along with pool_malloc and pool_realloc.) | |||||
| CVE-2024-24246 | 2 Fedoraproject, Qpdf Project | 2 Fedora, Qpdf | 2025-11-04 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
