| CVE-2009-2692 | 4 Debian, Linux, Redhat and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more | 2026-04-23 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| The Linux kernel 2.6.0 through 2.6.30.4, and 2.4.4 through 2.4.37.4, does not initialize all function pointers for socket operations in proto_ops structures, which allows local users to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and gain privileges by using mmap to map page zero, placing arbitrary code on this page, and then invoking an unavailable operation, as demonstrated by the sendpage operation (sock_sendpage function) on a PF_PPPOX socket. | |||||

| CVE-2025-38006 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-18 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mctp: Don't access ifa_index when missing In mctp_dump_addrinfo, ifa_index can be used to filter interfaces, but only when the struct ifaddrmsg is provided. Otherwise it will be comparing to uninitialised memory - reproducible in the syzkaller case from dhcpd, or busybox "ip addr show". The kernel MCTP implementation has always filtered by ifa_index, so existing userspace programs expecting to dump MCTP addresses must already be passing a valid ifa_index value (either 0 or a real index). BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in mctp_dump_addrinfo+0x208/0xac0 net/mctp/device.c:128 mctp_dump_addrinfo+0x208/0xac0 net/mctp/device.c:128 rtnl_dump_all+0x3ec/0x5b0 net/core/rtnetlink.c:4380 rtnl_dumpit+0xd5/0x2f0 net/core/rtnetlink.c:6824 netlink_dump+0x97b/0x1690 net/netlink/af_netlink.c:2309 | |||||
| CVE-2024-26849 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-18 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netlink: add nla be16/32 types to minlen array BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in nla_validate_range_unsigned lib/nlattr.c:222 [inline] BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in nla_validate_int_range lib/nlattr.c:336 [inline] BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in validate_nla lib/nlattr.c:575 [inline] BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in __nla_validate_parse+0x2e20/0x45c0 lib/nlattr.c:631 nla_validate_range_unsigned lib/nlattr.c:222 [inline] nla_validate_int_range lib/nlattr.c:336 [inline] validate_nla lib/nlattr.c:575 [inline] ... The message in question matches this policy: [NFTA_TARGET_REV] = NLA_POLICY_MAX(NLA_BE32, 255), but because NLA_BE32 size in minlen array is 0, the validation code will read past the malformed (too small) attribute. Note: Other attributes, e.g. BITFIELD32, SINT, UINT.. are also missing: those likely should be added too. | |||||
| CVE-2026-3497 | 2026-04-16 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Vulnerability in the OpenSSH GSSAPI delta included in various Linux distributions. This vulnerability affects the GSSAPI patches added by various Linux distributions and does not affect the OpenSSH upstream project itself. The usage of sshpkt_disconnect() on an error, which does not terminate the process, allows an attacker to send an unexpected GSSAPI message type during the GSSAPI key exchange to the server, which will call the underlying function and continue the execution of the program without setting the related connection variables. As the variables are not initialized to NULL the code later accesses those uninitialized variables, accessing random memory, which could lead to undefined behavior. The recommended workaround is to use ssh_packet_disconnect() instead, which does terminate the process. The impact of the vulnerability depends heavily on the compiler flag hardening configuration. | |||||
| CVE-2021-22925 | 7 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 4 more | 27 Mac Os X, Macos, Fedora and 24 more | 2026-04-16 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| curl supports the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS`in libcurl. This rarely used option is used to send variable=content pairs toTELNET servers.Due to flaw in the option parser for sending `NEW_ENV` variables, libcurlcould be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to theserver. Therefore potentially revealing sensitive internal information to theserver using a clear-text network protocol.This could happen because curl did not call and use sscanf() correctly whenparsing the string provided by the application. | |||||
| CVE-2025-9640 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in Samba, in the vfs_streams_xattr module, where uninitialized heap memory could be written into alternate data streams. This allows an authenticated user to read residual memory content that may include sensitive data, resulting in an information disclosure vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2024-1848 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow, Memory Corruption, Out-Of-Bounds Read, Out-Of-Bounds Write, Stack-based Buffer Overflow, Type Confusion, Uninitialized Variable, Use-After-Free vulnerabilities exist in the file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS Desktop on Release SOLIDWORKS 2024. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted CATPART, DWG, DXF, IPT, JT, SAT, SLDDRW, SLDPRT, STL, STP, X_B or X_T file. | |||||
