CVE-2021-3393 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 3 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Software Collections | 2024-11-21 | 3.5 LOW | 4.3 MEDIUM |
An information leak was discovered in postgresql in versions before 13.2, before 12.6 and before 11.11. A user having UPDATE permission but not SELECT permission to a particular column could craft queries which, under some circumstances, might disclose values from that column in error messages. An attacker could use this flaw to obtain information stored in a column they are allowed to write but not read.
CVE-2021-39251 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
A crafted NTFS image can cause a NULL pointer dereference in ntfs_extent_inode_open in NTFS-3G < 2021.8.22.
CVE-2021-35939 | 2 Redhat, Rpm | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rpm | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 6.7 MEDIUM |
It was found that the fix for CVE-2017-7500 and CVE-2017-7501 was incomplete: the check was only implemented for the parent directory of the file to be created. A local unprivileged user who owns another ancestor directory could potentially use this flaw to gain root privileges. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2021-35938 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Rpm | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Rpm | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 6.7 MEDIUM |
A symbolic link issue was found in rpm. It occurs when rpm sets the desired permissions and credentials after installing a file. A local unprivileged user could use this flaw to exchange the original file with a symbolic link to a security-critical file and escalate their privileges on the system. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.

CVE-2021-33285 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
In NTFS-3G versions < 2021.8.22, when a specially crafted NTFS attribute is supplied to the function ntfs_get_attribute_value, a heap buffer overflow can occur allowing for memory disclosure or denial of service. The vulnerability is caused by an out-of-bound buffer access which can be triggered by mounting a crafted ntfs partition. The root cause is a missing consistency check after reading an MFT record : the "bytes_in_use" field should be less than the "bytes_allocated" field. When it is not, the parsing of the records proceeds into the wild.
CVE-2021-32672 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Management Services For Element Software and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. When using the Redis Lua Debugger, users can send malformed requests that cause the debugger’s protocol parser to read data beyond the actual buffer. This issue affects all versions of Redis with Lua debugging support (3.2 or newer). The problem is fixed in versions 6.2.6, 6.0.16 and 5.0.14.
CVE-2021-32027 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 4 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
A flaw was found in postgresql in versions before 13.3, before 12.7, before 11.12, before 10.17 and before 9.6.22.
