CVE-2022-40277 3 Canonical, Joplinapp, Linux 3 Ubuntu Linux, Joplin, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Joplin version 2.8.8 allows an external attacker to execute arbitrary commands remotely on any client that opens a link in a malicious markdown file, via Joplin. This is possible because the application does not properly validate the schema/protocol of existing links in the markdown file before passing them to the 'shell.openExternal' function.
CVE-2022-40274 2 Gridea, Linux 2 Gridea, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Gridea version 0.9.3 allows an external attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely on any client attempting to view a malicious markdown file through Gridea. This is possible because the application has the 'nodeIntegration' option enabled.
CVE-2022-40235 3 Ibm, Linux, Microsoft 4 Aix, Infosphere Information Server, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
"IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 could allow a user to cause a denial of service by removing the ability to run jobs due to improper input validation. IBM X-Force ID: 235725."

IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Standard Edition 6.1.0.0 through 6.1.1.1, and 6.1.2.0 could allow an authenticated user to perform actions they should not have access to due to improper permission controls. IBM X-Force ID: 235597.
CVE-2022-40231 3 Ibm, Linux, Microsoft 4 Aix, Sterling B2b Integrator, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 4.3 MEDIUM
IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Standard Edition 6.0.0.0 through 6.0.3.7 and 6.1.0.0 through 6.1.2.0 could allow an authenticated user to perform unauthorized actions due to improper access controls. IBM X-Force ID: 235533.
CVE-2022-40133 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
A use-after-free(UAF) vulnerability was found in function 'vmw_execbuf_tie_context' in drivers/gpu/vmxgfx/vmxgfx_execbuf.c in Linux kernel's vmwgfx driver with device file '/dev/dri/renderD128 (or Dxxx)'. This flaw allows a local attacker with a user account on the system to gain privilege, causing a denial of service(DoS).
CVE-2022-3977 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel MCTP (Management Component Transport Protocol) functionality. This issue occurs when a user simultaneously calls DROPTAG ioctl and socket close happens, which could allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-3910 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel allows Privilege Escalation. An improper Update of Reference Count in io_uring leads to Use-After-Free and Local Privilege Escalation. When io_msg_ring was invoked with a fixed file, it called io_fput_file() which improperly decreased its reference count (leading to Use-After-Free and Local Privilege Escalation). Fixed files are permanently registered to the ring, and should not be put separately. We recommend upgrading past commit https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/fc7222c3a9f56271fba02aabbfbae999042f1679 https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/fc7222c3a9f56271fba02aabbfbae999042f1679

The manipulation leads to memory leak. The attack may be initiated remotely. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier VDB-211961 was assigned to this vulnerability.
CVE-2022-3643 3 Broadcom, Debian, Linux 3 Bcm5780, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Guests can trigger NIC interface reset/abort/crash via netback It is possible for a guest to trigger a NIC interface reset/abort/crash in a Linux based network backend by sending certain kinds of packets. It appears to be an (unwritten?) assumption in the rest of the Linux network stack that packet protocol headers are all contained within the linear section of the SKB and some NICs behave badly if this is not the case. This has been reported to occur with Cisco (enic) and Broadcom NetXtrem II BCM5780 (bnx2x) though it may be an issue with other NICs/drivers as well. In case the frontend is sending requests with split headers, netback will forward those violating above mentioned assumption to the networking core, resulting in said misbehavior.
