CVE-2018-14622 4 Canonical, Debian, Libtirpc Project and 1 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libtirpc and 5 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A null-pointer dereference vulnerability was found in libtirpc before version 0.3.3-rc3. The return value of makefd_xprt() was not checked in all instances, which could lead to a crash when the server exhausted the maximum number of available file descriptors. A remote attacker could cause an rpc-based application to crash by flooding it with new connections.
CVE-2018-14620 1 Redhat 1 Openstack 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 4.7 MEDIUM
The OpenStack RabbitMQ container image insecurely retrieves the rabbitmq_clusterer component over HTTP during the build stage. This could potentially allow an attacker to serve malicious code to the image builder and install in the resultant container image. Version of openstack-rabbitmq-container and openstack-containers as shipped with Red Hat Openstack 12, 13, 14 are believed to be vulnerable.
CVE-2018-14618 4 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 1 more 2026-06-17 10.0 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
curl before version 7.61.1 is vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the NTLM authentication code. The internal function Curl_ntlm_core_mk_nt_hash multiplies the length of the password by two (SUM) to figure out how large temporary storage area to allocate from the heap. The length value is then subsequently used to iterate over the password and generate output into the allocated storage buffer. On systems with a 32 bit size_t, the math to calculate SUM triggers an integer overflow when the password length exceeds 2GB (2^31 bytes). This integer overflow usually causes a very small buffer to actually get allocated instead of the intended very huge one, making the use of that buffer end up in a heap buffer overflow. (This bug is almost identical to CVE-2017-8816.)
CVE-2018-14599 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in libX11 through 1.6.5. The function XListExtensions in ListExt.c is vulnerable to an off-by-one error caused by malicious server responses, leading to DoS or possibly unspecified other impact.
CVE-2018-14432 3 Debian, Openstack, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Keystone, Openstack 2026-06-17 3.5 LOW 5.3 MEDIUM
In the Federation component of OpenStack Keystone before 11.0.4, 12.0.0, and 13.0.0, an authenticated "GET /v3/OS-FEDERATION/projects" request may bypass intended access restrictions on listing projects. An authenticated user may discover projects they have no authority to access, leaking all projects in the deployment and their attributes. Only Keystone with the /v3/OS-FEDERATION endpoint enabled via policy.json is affected.
CVE-2018-14362 5 Canonical, Debian, Mutt and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Mutt and 7 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in Mutt before 1.10.1 and NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. pop.c does not forbid characters that may have unsafe interaction with message-cache pathnames, as demonstrated by a '/' character.
CVE-2018-14357 5 Canonical, Debian, Mutt and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Mutt and 7 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in Mutt before 1.10.1 and NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. They allow remote IMAP servers to execute arbitrary commands via backquote characters, related to the mailboxes command associated with an automatic subscription.
CVE-2018-14354 5 Canonical, Debian, Mutt and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Mutt and 7 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in Mutt before 1.10.1 and NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. They allow remote IMAP servers to execute arbitrary commands via backquote characters, related to the mailboxes command associated with a manual subscription or unsubscription.
CVE-2018-13988 4 Canonical, Debian, Freedesktop and 1 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Poppler and 5 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Poppler through 0.62 contains an out of bounds read vulnerability due to an incorrect memory access that is not mapped in its memory space, as demonstrated by pdfunite. This can result in memory corruption and denial of service. This may be exploitable when a victim opens a specially crafted PDF file.
CVE-2018-13785 4 Canonical, Libpng, Oracle and 1 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Libpng, Jdk and 4 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
In libpng 1.6.34, a wrong calculation of row_factor in the png_check_chunk_length function (pngrutil.c) may trigger an integer overflow and resultant divide-by-zero while processing a crafted PNG file, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2018-13405 6 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 3 more 27 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 24 more 2026-06-17 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
The inode_init_owner function in fs/inode.c in the Linux kernel through 3.16 allows local users to create files with an unintended group ownership, in a scenario where a directory is SGID to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of that group. Here, the non-member can trigger creation of a plain file whose group ownership is that group. The intended behavior was that the non-member can trigger creation of a directory (but not a plain file) whose group ownership is that group. The non-member can escalate privileges by making the plain file executable and SGID.
CVE-2018-13033 2 Gnu, Redhat 5 Binutils, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 2 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
The Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.30, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (excessive memory allocation and application crash) via a crafted ELF file, as demonstrated by _bfd_elf_parse_attributes in elf-attrs.c and bfd_malloc in libbfd.c. This can occur during execution of nm.
CVE-2018-12910 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnome and 2 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libsoup and 6 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
