CVE-2022-47520 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 12 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 9 more | 2025-04-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 6.0.11. Missing offset validation in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/hif.c in the WILC1000 wireless driver can trigger an out-of-bounds read when parsing a Robust Security Network (RSN) information element from a Netlink packet. | |||||
CVE-2022-47519 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 12 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 9 more | 2025-04-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 6.0.11. Missing validation of IEEE80211_P2P_ATTR_OPER_CHANNEL in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/cfg80211.c in the WILC1000 wireless driver can trigger an out-of-bounds write when parsing the channel list attribute from Wi-Fi management frames. | |||||
CVE-2022-47518 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 12 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 9 more | 2025-04-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 6.0.11. Missing validation of the number of channels in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/cfg80211.c in the WILC1000 wireless driver can trigger a heap-based buffer overflow when copying the list of operating channels from Wi-Fi management frames. | |||||
CVE-2022-0847 | 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more | 39 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 36 more | 2025-04-08 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||
CVE-2020-11023 | 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 60 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 57 more | 2025-04-04 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.9 MEDIUM |
In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.0.3 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | |||||
CVE-2019-2215 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Google and 2 more | 145 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Android and 142 more | 2025-04-04 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
A use-after-free in binder.c allows an elevation of privilege from an application to the Linux Kernel. No user interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability, however exploitation does require either the installation of a malicious local application or a separate vulnerability in a network facing application.Product: AndroidAndroid ID: A-141720095 | |||||
CVE-2022-0185 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more | 2025-04-03 | 7.2 HIGH | 8.4 HIGH |
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the legacy_parse_param function in the Filesystem Context functionality of the Linux kernel verified the supplied parameters length. An unprivileged (in case of unprivileged user namespaces enabled, otherwise needs namespaced CAP_SYS_ADMIN privilege) local user able to open a filesystem that does not support the Filesystem Context API (and thus fallbacks to legacy handling) could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||
CVE-2024-28757 | 3 Fedoraproject, Libexpat Project, Netapp | 21 Fedora, Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more | 2025-03-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
libexpat through 2.6.1 allows an XML Entity Expansion attack when there is isolated use of external parsers (created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate). | |||||
CVE-2022-1586 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 18 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 15 more | 2025-03-25 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was discovered in the PCRE2 library in the compile_xclass_matchingpath() function of the pcre2_jit_compile.c file. This involves a unicode property matching issue in JIT-compiled regular expressions. The issue occurs because the character was not fully read in case-less matching within JIT. | |||||
CVE-2023-26545 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 11 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 8 more | 2025-03-20 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
In the Linux kernel before 6.1.13, there is a double free in net/mpls/af_mpls.c upon an allocation failure (for registering the sysctl table under a new location) during the renaming of a device. | |||||
CVE-2023-33250 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 9 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 6 more | 2025-03-18 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
The Linux kernel 6.3 has a use-after-free in iopt_unmap_iova_range in drivers/iommu/iommufd/io_pagetable.c. | |||||
CVE-2023-23916 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 10 more | 2025-03-12 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 based on the "chained" HTTP compression algorithms, meaning that a server response can be compressed multiple times and potentially with differentalgorithms. The number of acceptable "links" in this "decompression chain" wascapped, but the cap was implemented on a per-header basis allowing a maliciousserver to insert a virtually unlimited number of compression steps simply byusing many headers. The use of such a decompression chain could result in a "malloc bomb", making curl end up spending enormous amounts of allocated heap memory, or trying to and returning out of memory errors. | |||||
CVE-2023-23914 | 3 Haxx, Netapp, Splunk | 12 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more | 2025-03-12 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL |
A cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 that could cause HSTS functionality fail when multiple URLs are requested serially. Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS instead of usingan insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in the URL. ThisHSTS mechanism would however surprisingly be ignored by subsequent transferswhen done on the same command line because the state would not be properlycarried on. | |||||
CVE-2021-22600 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 12 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 9 more | 2025-02-24 | 7.2 HIGH | 6.6 MEDIUM |
A double free bug in packet_set_ring() in net/packet/af_packet.c can be exploited by a local user through crafted syscalls to escalate privileges or deny service. We recommend upgrading kernel past the effected versions or rebuilding past ec6af094ea28f0f2dda1a6a33b14cd57e36a9755 | |||||
CVE-2023-27536 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 11 more | 2025-02-14 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists libcurl <8.0.0 in the connection reuse feature which can reuse previously established connections with incorrect user permissions due to a failure to check for changes in the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option. This vulnerability affects krb5/kerberos/negotiate/GSSAPI transfers and could potentially result in unauthorized access to sensitive information. The safest option is to not reuse connections if the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option has been changed. | |||||
CVE-2023-0045 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more | 2025-02-13 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
The current implementation of the prctl syscall does not issue an IBPB immediately during the syscall. The ib_prctl_set function updates the Thread Information Flags (TIFs) for the task and updates the SPEC_CTRL MSR on the function __speculation_ctrl_update, but the IBPB is only issued on the next schedule, when the TIF bits are checked. This leaves the victim vulnerable to values already injected on the BTB, prior to the prctl syscall. The patch that added the support for the conditional mitigation via prctl (ib_prctl_set) dates back to the kernel 4.9.176. We recommend upgrading past commit a664ec9158eeddd75121d39c9a0758016097fa96 | |||||
CVE-2023-28321 | 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 14 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more | 2025-01-15 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`. | |||||
CVE-2023-28320 | 3 Apple, Haxx, Netapp | 12 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more | 2025-01-15 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
A denial of service vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl provides several different backends for resolving host names, selected at build time. If it is built to use the synchronous resolver, it allows name resolves to time-out slow operations using `alarm()` and `siglongjmp()`. When doing this, libcurl used a global buffer that was not mutex protected and a multi-threaded application might therefore crash or otherwise misbehave. | |||||
CVE-2023-28319 | 3 Apple, Haxx, Netapp | 12 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more | 2025-01-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
A use after free vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl offers a feature to verify an SSH server's public key using a SHA 256 hash. When this check fails, libcurl would free the memory for the fingerprint before it returns an error message containing the (now freed) hash. This flaw risks inserting sensitive heap-based data into the error message that might be shown to users or otherwise get leaked and revealed. | |||||
CVE-2023-2953 | 4 Apple, Netapp, Openldap and 1 more | 16 Macos, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 13 more | 2025-01-10 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
A vulnerability was found in openldap. This security flaw causes a null pointer dereference in ber_memalloc_x() function. |
