| A flaw in the networking code handling DNS-over-TLS queries may cause `named` to terminate unexpectedly due to an assertion failure. This happens when internal data structures are incorrectly reused under significant DNS-over-TLS query load. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.18 and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.18-S1. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4235 | 2 Fedoraproject, Ofono Project | 2 Fedora, Ofono | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in ofono, an Open Source Telephony on Linux. A stack overflow bug is triggered within the decode_deliver_report() function during the SMS decoding. It is assumed that the attack scenario is accessible from a compromised modem, a malicious base station, or just SMS. There is a bound check for this memcpy length in decode_submit(), but it was forgotten in decode_deliver_report(). | |||||

| CVE-2023-4194 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TUN/TAP functionality. This issue could allow a local user to bypass network filters and gain unauthorized access to some resources. The original patches fixing CVE-2023-1076 are incorrect or incomplete. The problem is that the following upstream commits - a096ccca6e50 ("tun: tun_chr_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), - 66b2c338adce ("tap: tap_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), pass "inode->i_uid" to sock_init_data_uid() as the last parameter and that turns out to not be accurate. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4156 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Gawk, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A heap out-of-bounds read flaw was found in builtin.c in the gawk package. This issue may lead to a crash and could be used to read sensitive information. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4155 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in KVM AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV) in the Linux kernel. A KVM guest using SEV-ES or SEV-SNP with multiple vCPUs can trigger a double fetch race condition vulnerability and invoke the `VMGEXIT` handler recursively. If an attacker manages to call the handler multiple times, they can trigger a stack overflow and cause a denial of service or potentially guest-to-host escape in kernel configurations without stack guard pages (`CONFIG_VMAP_STACK`). | |||||
| CVE-2023-4147 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Netfilter functionality when adding a rule with NFTA_RULE_CHAIN_ID. This flaw allows a local user to crash or escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4135 | 2 Fedoraproject, Qemu | 2 Fedora, Qemu | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.0 MEDIUM |
| A heap out-of-bounds memory read flaw was found in the virtual nvme device in QEMU. The QEMU process does not validate an offset provided by the guest before computing a host heap pointer, which is used for copying data back to the guest. Arbitrary heap memory relative to an allocated buffer can be disclosed. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4134 | 2 Fedoraproject, Linux | 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cyttsp4_core driver in the Linux kernel. This issue occurs in the device cleanup routine due to a possible rearming of the watchdog_timer from the workqueue. This could allow a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4133 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs when the cxgb4 device is detaching due to a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4132 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the siano smsusb module in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs during device initialization when the siano device is plugged in. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4091 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba | 5 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was discovered in Samba, where the flaw allows SMB clients to truncate files, even with read-only permissions when the Samba VFS module "acl_xattr" is configured with "acl_xattr:ignore system acls = yes". The SMB protocol allows opening files when the client requests read-only access but then implicitly truncates the opened file to 0 bytes if the client specifies a separate OVERWRITE create disposition request. The issue arises in configurations that bypass kernel file system permissions checks, relying solely on Samba's permissions. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4073 | 4 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Out of bounds memory access in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 115.0.5790.170 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) | |||||
| CVE-2023-4016 | 2 Fedoraproject, Procps Project | 2 Fedora, Procps | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 2.5 LOW |
| Under some circumstances, this weakness allows a user who has access to run the “ps” utility on a machine, the ability to write almost unlimited amounts of unfiltered data into the process heap. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4004 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter in the way a user triggers the nft_pipapo_remove function with the element, without a NFT_SET_EXT_KEY_END. This issue could allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4001 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Grub2, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| An authentication bypass flaw was found in GRUB due to the way that GRUB uses the UUID of a device to search for the configuration file that contains the password hash for the GRUB password protection feature. An attacker capable of attaching an external drive such as a USB stick containing a file system with a duplicate UUID (the same as in the "/boot/" file system) can bypass the GRUB password protection feature on UEFI systems, which enumerate removable drives before non-removable ones. This issue was introduced in a downstream patch in Red Hat's version of grub2 and does not affect the upstream package. | |||||
| CVE-2023-49528 | 2 Fedoraproject, Ffmpeg | 2 Fedora, Ffmpeg | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.0 HIGH |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in FFmpeg version n6.1-3-g466799d4f5, allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code and cause a denial of service (DoS) via the af_dialoguenhance.c:261:5 in the de_stereo component. | |||||
