CVE-2017-3139 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux Server Aus, Enterprise Linux Server Eus, Enterprise Linux Server Tus 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A denial of service flaw was found in the way BIND handled DNSSEC validation. A remote attacker could use this flaw to make named exit unexpectedly with an assertion failure via a specially crafted DNS response.
CVE-2017-3137 4 Debian, Isc, Netapp and 1 more 11 Debian Linux, Bind, Data Ontap Edge and 8 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Mistaken assumptions about the ordering of records in the answer section of a response containing CNAME or DNAME resource records could lead to a situation in which named would exit with an assertion failure when processing a response in which records occurred in an unusual order. Affects BIND 9.9.9-P6, 9.9.10b1->9.9.10rc1, 9.10.4-P6, 9.10.5b1->9.10.5rc1, 9.11.0-P3, 9.11.1b1->9.11.1rc1, and 9.9.9-S8.
CVE-2017-3136 4 Debian, Isc, Netapp and 1 more 11 Debian Linux, Bind, Data Ontap Edge and 8 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
A query with a specific set of characteristics could cause a server using DNS64 to encounter an assertion failure and terminate. An attacker could deliberately construct a query, enabling denial-of-service against a server if it was configured to use the DNS64 feature and other preconditions were met. Affects BIND 9.8.0 -> 9.8.8-P1, 9.9.0 -> 9.9.9-P6, 9.9.10b1->9.9.10rc1, 9.10.0 -> 9.10.4-P6, 9.10.5b1->9.10.5rc1, 9.11.0 -> 9.11.0-P3, 9.11.1b1->9.11.1rc1, 9.9.3-S1 -> 9.9.9-S8.
CVE-2017-3135 4 Debian, Isc, Netapp and 1 more 10 Debian Linux, Bind, Data Ontap Edge and 7 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Under some conditions when using both DNS64 and RPZ to rewrite query responses, query processing can resume in an inconsistent state leading to either an INSIST assertion failure or an attempt to read through a NULL pointer. Affects BIND 9.8.8, 9.9.3-S1 -> 9.9.9-S7, 9.9.3 -> 9.9.9-P5, 9.9.10b1, 9.10.0 -> 9.10.4-P5, 9.10.5b1, 9.11.0 -> 9.11.0-P2, 9.11.1b1.

An exploitable stack based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the GNOME libsoup 2.58. A specially crafted HTTP request can cause a stack overflow resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can send a special HTTP request to the vulnerable server to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2017-18344 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 9 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2026-06-17 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The timer_create syscall implementation in kernel/time/posix-timers.c in the Linux kernel before 4.14.8 doesn't properly validate the sigevent->sigev_notify field, which leads to out-of-bounds access in the show_timer function (called when /proc/$PID/timers is read). This allows userspace applications to read arbitrary kernel memory (on a kernel built with CONFIG_POSIX_TIMERS and CONFIG_CHECKPOINT_RESTORE).
CVE-2017-18017 9 Arista, Canonical, Debian and 6 more 29 Eos, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 26 more 2026-06-17 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
The tcpmss_mangle_packet function in net/netfilter/xt_TCPMSS.c in the Linux kernel before 4.11, and 4.9.x before 4.9.36, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact by leveraging the presence of xt_TCPMSS in an iptables action.
CVE-2017-17833 5 Canonical, Debian, Lenovo and 2 more 61 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Bm Nextscale Fan Power Controller and 58 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
OpenSLP releases in the 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 code streams have a heap-related memory corruption issue which may manifest itself as a denial-of-service or a remote code-execution vulnerability.
CVE-2017-17405 3 Debian, Redhat, Ruby-lang 8 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 5 more 2026-06-17 9.3 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
Ruby before 2.4.3 allows Net::FTP command injection. Net::FTP#get, getbinaryfile, gettextfile, put, putbinaryfile, and puttextfile use Kernel#open to open a local file. If the localfile argument starts with the "|" pipe character, the command following the pipe character is executed. The default value of localfile is File.basename(remotefile), so malicious FTP servers could cause arbitrary command execution.
CVE-2017-16541 5 Apple, Debian, Linux and 2 more 10 Macos, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 7 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Tor Browser before 7.0.9 on macOS and Linux allows remote attackers to bypass the intended anonymity feature and discover a client IP address via vectors involving a crafted web site that leverages file:// mishandling in Firefox, aka TorMoil. NOTE: Tails is unaffected.
CVE-2017-15906 5 Debian, Netapp, Openbsd and 2 more 22 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 19 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
The process_open function in sftp-server.c in OpenSSH before 7.6 does not properly prevent write operations in readonly mode, which allows attackers to create zero-length files.
CVE-2017-15129 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 20 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 17 more 2026-06-17 4.9 MEDIUM 4.7 MEDIUM
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in network namespaces code affecting the Linux kernel before 4.14.11. The function get_net_ns_by_id() in net/core/net_namespace.c does not check for the net::count value after it has found a peer network in netns_ids idr, which could lead to double free and memory corruption. This vulnerability could allow an unprivileged local user to induce kernel memory corruption on the system, leading to a crash. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out, although it is thought to be unlikely.
CVE-2017-15121 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 4 more 2026-06-17 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A non-privileged user is able to mount a fuse filesystem on RHEL 6 or 7 and crash a system if an application punches a hole in a file that does not end aligned to a page boundary.
CVE-2017-14064 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Ruby through 2.2.7, 2.3.x through 2.3.4, and 2.4.x through 2.4.1 can expose arbitrary memory during a JSON.generate call. The issues lies in using strdup in ext/json/ext/generator/generator.c, which will stop after encountering a '\0' byte, returning a pointer to a string of length zero, which is not the length stored in space_len.
CVE-2017-12617 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 58 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 55 more 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
When running Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0, 8.5.0 to 8.5.22, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.46 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.81 with HTTP PUTs enabled (e.g. via setting the readonly initialisation parameter of the Default servlet to false) it was possible to upload a JSP file to the server via a specially crafted request. This JSP could then be requested and any code it contained would be executed by the server.
CVE-2017-12615 4 Apache, Microsoft, Netapp and 1 more 23 Tomcat, Windows, 7-mode Transition Tool and 20 more 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
When running Apache Tomcat 7.0.0 to 7.0.79 on Windows with HTTP PUTs enabled (e.g. via setting the readonly initialisation parameter of the Default to false) it was possible to upload a JSP file to the server via a specially crafted request. This JSP could then be requested and any code it contained would be executed by the server.
CVE-2017-12613 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat 11 Portable Runtime, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 8 more 2026-06-17 3.6 LOW 7.1 HIGH
When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input.
CVE-2017-10978 3 Debian, Freeradius, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Freeradius, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An FR-GV-201 issue in FreeRADIUS 2.x before 2.2.10 and 3.x before 3.0.15 allows "Read / write overflow in make_secret()" and a denial of service.
CVE-2017-10664 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat 11 Debian Linux, Qemu, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
qemu-nbd in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) does not ignore SIGPIPE, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) by disconnecting during a server-to-client reply attempt.
CVE-2017-10388 4 Debian, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 29 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 26 more 2026-06-17 5.1 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
