In DjVuLibre 3.5.27, the bitmap reader component allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service error (resource exhaustion caused by a GBitmap::read_rle_raw infinite loop) by crafting a corrupted image file, related to libdjvu/DjVmDir.cpp and libdjvu/GBitmap.cpp.
CVE-2019-15142 5 Canonical, Debian, Djvulibre Project and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Djvulibre and 2 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
In DjVuLibre 3.5.27, DjVmDir.cpp in the DJVU reader component allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (application crash in GStringRep::strdup in libdjvu/GString.cpp caused by a heap-based buffer over-read) by crafting a DJVU file.
CVE-2019-14973 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libtiff and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtiff and 1 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
_TIFFCheckMalloc and _TIFFCheckRealloc in tif_aux.c in LibTIFF through 4.0.10 mishandle Integer Overflow checks because they rely on compiler behavior that is undefined by the applicable C standards. This can, for example, lead to an application crash.
CVE-2019-14934 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Pdfresurrect Project 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Pdfresurrect 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in PDFResurrect before 0.18. pdf_load_pages_kids in pdf.c doesn't validate a certain size value, which leads to a malloc failure and out-of-bounds write.
CVE-2019-14905 3 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Redhat 8 Fedora, Backports Sle, Leap and 5 more 2024-11-21 4.6 MEDIUM 5.6 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in Ansible Engine versions 2.9.x before 2.9.3, 2.8.x before 2.8.8, 2.7.x before 2.7.16 and earlier, where in Ansible's nxos_file_copy module can be used to copy files to a flash or bootflash on NXOS devices. Malicious code could craft the filename parameter to perform OS command injections. This could result in a loss of confidentiality of the system among other issues.
CVE-2019-14901 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2024-11-21 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A heap overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel, all versions 3.x.x and 4.x.x before 4.18.0, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service, or execute arbitrary code. The highest threat with this vulnerability is with the availability of the system. If code execution occurs, the code will run with the permissions of root. This will affect both confidentiality and integrity of files on the system.
CVE-2019-14896 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-11-21 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel, version kernel-2.6.32, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. A remote attacker could cause a denial of service (system crash) or, possibly execute arbitrary code, when the lbs_ibss_join_existing function is called after a STA connects to an AP.
CVE-2019-14895 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-11-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in the Linux kernel, all versions 3.x.x and 4.x.x before 4.18.0, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. The flaw could occur when the station attempts a connection negotiation during the handling of the remote devices country settings. This could allow the remote device to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2019-14891 3 Fedoraproject, Kubernetes, Redhat 3 Fedora, Cri-o, Openshift Container Platform 2024-11-21 6.0 MEDIUM 5.0 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in cri-o, as a result of all pod-related processes being placed in the same memory cgroup. This can result in container management (conmon) processes being killed if a workload process triggers an out-of-memory (OOM) condition for the cgroup. An attacker could abuse this flaw to get host network access on an cri-o host.
CVE-2019-14889 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2024-11-21 9.3 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found with the libssh API function ssh_scp_new() in versions before 0.9.3 and before 0.8.8. When the libssh SCP client connects to a server, the scp command, which includes a user-provided path, is executed on the server-side. In case the library is used in a way where users can influence the third parameter of the function, it would become possible for an attacker to inject arbitrary commands, leading to a compromise of the remote target.
