| CVE-2026-46311 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: fix access to stale wptr mapping Use drm_exec to take both locks i.e vm root bo and wptr_obj bo to access the mapping data properly. This fixes the security issue of unmap the wptr_obj while a queue creation is in progress and passing other bo at same address. | CVE-2026-46330 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "net/smc: Introduce TCP ULP support" This reverts commit d7cd421da9da2cc7b4d25b8537f66db5c8331c40. As reported by Al Viro, the TCP ULP support for SMC is fundamentally broken. The implementation attempts to convert an active TCP socket into an SMC socket by modifying the underlying `struct file`, dentry, and inode in-place, which violates core VFS invariants that assume these structures are immutable for an open file, creating a risk of use after free errors and general system instability. Given the severity of this design flaw and the fact that cleaner alternatives (e.g., LD_PRELOAD, BPF) exist for legacy application transparency, the correct course of action is to remove this feature entirely. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46285 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: docg3: fix use-after-free in docg3_release() In docg3_release(), the docg3 pointer is obtained from cascade->floors[0]->priv before the loop that calls doc_release_device() on each floor. doc_release_device() frees the docg3 struct via kfree(docg3) at line 1881. After the loop, docg3->cascade->bch dereferences the already-freed pointer. Fix this by accessing cascade->bch directly, which is equivalent since docg3->cascade points back to the same cascade struct, and is already available as a local variable. This also removes the now-unused docg3 local variable. | |||||

| CVE-2026-46292 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pmdomain: core: Fix detach procedure for virtual devices in genpd If a device is attached to a PM domain through genpd_dev_pm_attach_by_id(), genpd calls pm_runtime_enable() for the corresponding virtual device that it registers. While this avoids boilerplate code in drivers, there is no corresponding call to pm_runtime_disable() in genpd_dev_pm_detach(). This means these virtual devices are typically detached from its genpd, while runtime PM remains enabled for them, which is not how things are designed to work. In worst cases it may lead to critical errors, like a NULL pointer dereference bug in genpd_runtime_suspend(), which was recently reported. For another case, we may end up keeping an unnecessary vote for a performance state for the device. To fix these problems, let's add this missing call to pm_runtime_disable() in genpd_dev_pm_detach(). | |||||

| Adobe Experience Manager Forms JEE versions LTS SP1, 6.5.24.0 and earlier are affected by a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a web page, potentially gaining elevated access or control over the victim's account or session. Exploit depends on conditions beyond the attacker's control. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a maliciously crafted URL or interact with a compromised web page. Scope is changed. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46280 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib: test_hmm: evict device pages on file close to avoid use-after-free Patch series "Minor hmm_test fixes and cleanups". Two bugfixes a cleanup for the HMM kernel selftests. These were mostly reported by Zenghui Yu with special thanks to Lorenzo for analysing and pointing out the problems. This patch (of 3): When dmirror_fops_release() is called it frees the dmirror struct but doesn't migrate device private pages back to system memory first. This leaves those pages with a dangling zone_device_data pointer to the freed dmirror. If a subsequent fault occurs on those pages (eg. during coredump) the dmirror_devmem_fault() callback dereferences the stale pointer causing a kernel panic. This was reported [1] when running mm/ksft_hmm.sh on arm64, where a test failure triggered SIGABRT and the resulting coredump walked the VMAs faulting in the stale device private pages. Fix this by calling dmirror_device_evict_chunk() for each devmem chunk in dmirror_fops_release() to migrate all device private pages back to system memory before freeing the dmirror struct. The function is moved earlier in the file to avoid a forward declaration. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46295 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Do IRR scan in __kvm_apic_update_irr even if PIR is empty Fall back to apic_find_highest_vector() when PID.ON is set but PIR turns out to be empty, to correctly report the highest pending interrupt from the existing IRR. In a nested VM stress test, the following WARNING fires in vmx_check_nested_events() when kvm_cpu_has_interrupt() reports a pending interrupt but the subsequent kvm_apic_has_interrupt() (which invokes vmx_sync_pir_to_irr() again) returns -1: WARNING: CPU: 99 PID: 57767 at arch/x86/kvm/vmx/nested.c:4449 vmx_check_nested_events+0x6bf/0x6e0 [kvm_intel] Call Trace: kvm_check_and_inject_events vcpu_enter_guest.constprop.0 vcpu_run kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run kvm_vcpu_ioctl __x64_sys_ioctl do_syscall_64 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe The root cause is a race between vmx_sync_pir_to_irr() on the target vCPU and __vmx_deliver_posted_interrupt() on a sender vCPU. The sender performs two individually-atomic operations that are not a single transaction: 1. pi_test_and_set_pir(vector) -- sets the PIR bit 2. pi_test_and_set_on() -- sets PID.ON The following interleaving triggers the bug: Sender vCPU (IPI): Target vCPU (1st sync_pir_to_irr): B1: set PIR[vector] A1: pi_clear_on() A2: pi_harvest_pir() -> sees B1 bit A3: xchg() -> consumes bit, PIR=0 (1st sync returns correct max_irr) B2: set PID.ON = 1 Target vCPU (2nd sync_pir_to_irr): C1: pi_test_on() -> TRUE (from B2) C2: pi_clear_on() -> ON=0 C3: pi_harvest_pir() -> PIR empty C4: *max_irr = -1, early return IRR NOT SCANNED The interrupt is not lost (it resides in the IRR from the first sync and is recovered on the next vcpu_enter_guest() iteration), but the incorrect max_irr causes a spurious WARNING and a wasted L2 VM-Enter/VM-Exit cycle. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46332 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 8.0 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: greybus: gb-beagleplay: bound bootloader receive buffering cc1352_bootloader_rx() appends each serdev chunk into the fixed rx_buffer before parsing bootloader packets. The helper can keep leftover bytes between callbacks and may receive multiple packets in one callback, so a single count value is not constrained by one packet length. Check that the incoming chunk fits in the remaining receive buffer space before memcpy(). If it does not, drop the staged data and consume the bytes instead of overflowing rx_buffer. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46319 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ct: Only release RCU read lock after ct_ft When looking up a flow table in act_ct in tcf_ct_flow_table_get(), rhashtable_lookup_fast() internally opens and closes an RCU read critical section before returning ct_ft. The tcf_ct_flow_table_cleanup_work() can complete before refcount_inc_not_zero() is invoked on the returned ct_ft resulting in a UAF on the already freed ct_ft object. This vulnerability can lead to privilege escalation. Analysis from zdi-disclosures@trendmicro.com: When initializing act_ct, tcf_ct_init() is called, which internally triggers tcf_ct_flow_table_get(). static int tcf_ct_flow_table_get(struct net *net, struct tcf_ct_params *params) { struct zones_ht_key key = { .net = net, .zone = params->zone }; struct tcf_ct_flow_table *ct_ft; int err = -ENOMEM; mutex_lock(&zones_mutex); ct_ft = rhashtable_lookup_fast(&zones_ht, &key, zones_params); // [1] if (ct_ft && refcount_inc_not_zero(&ct_ft->ref)) // [2] goto out_unlock; ... } static __always_inline void *rhashtable_lookup_fast( struct rhashtable *ht, const void *key, const struct rhashtable_params params) { void *obj; rcu_read_lock(); obj = rhashtable_lookup(ht, key, params); rcu_read_unlock(); return obj; } At [1], rhashtable_lookup_fast() looks up and returns the corresponding ct_ft from zones_ht . The lookup is performed within an RCU read critical section through rcu_read_lock() / rcu_read_unlock(), which prevents the object from being freed. However, at the point of function return, rcu_read_unlock() has already been called, and there is nothing preventing ct_ft from being freed before reaching refcount_inc_not_zero(&ct_ft->ref) at [2]. This interval becomes the race window, during which ct_ft can be freed. Free Process: tcf_ct_flow_table_put() is executed through the path tcf_ct_cleanup() call_rcu() tcf_ct_params_free_rcu() tcf_ct_params_free() tcf_ct_flow_table_put(). static void tcf_ct_flow_table_put(struct tcf_ct_flow_table *ct_ft) { if (refcount_dec_and_test(&ct_ft->ref)) { rhashtable_remove_fast(&zones_ht, &ct_ft->node, zones_params); INIT_RCU_WORK(&ct_ft->rwork, tcf_ct_flow_table_cleanup_work); // [3] queue_rcu_work(act_ct_wq, &ct_ft->rwork); } } At [3], tcf_ct_flow_table_cleanup_work() is scheduled as RCU work static void tcf_ct_flow_table_cleanup_work(struct work_struct *work) { struct tcf_ct_flow_table *ct_ft; struct flow_block *block; ct_ft = container_of(to_rcu_work(work), struct tcf_ct_flow_table, rwork); nf_flow_table_free(&ct_ft->nf_ft); block = &ct_ft->nf_ft.flow_block; down_write(&ct_ft->nf_ft.flow_block_lock); WARN_ON(!list_empty(&block->cb_list)); up_write(&ct_ft->nf_ft.flow_block_lock); kfree(ct_ft); // [4] module_put(THIS_MODULE); } tcf_ct_flow_table_cleanup_work() frees ct_ft at [4]. When this function executes between [1] and [2], UAF occurs. This race condition has a very short race window, making it generally difficult to trigger. Therefore, to trigger the vulnerability an msleep(100) was inserted after[1] | |||||
| CVE-2026-46294 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: fix a buffer overflow in ioctl processing Tony Asleson (using Claude) found a buffer overflow in dm-ioctl in the function retrieve_status: 1. The code in retrieve_status checks that the output string fits into the output buffer and writes the output string there 2. Then, the code aligns the "outptr" variable to the next 8-byte boundary: outptr = align_ptr(outptr); 3. The alignment doesn't check overflow, so outptr could point past the buffer end 4. The "for" loop is iterated again, it executes: remaining = len - (outptr - outbuf); 5. If "outptr" points past "outbuf + len", the arithmetics wraps around and the variable "remaining" contains unusually high number 6. With "remaining" being high, the code writes more data past the end of the buffer Luckily, this bug has no security implications because: 1. Only root can issue device mapper ioctls 2. The commonly used libraries that communicate with device mapper (libdevmapper and devicemapper-rs) use buffer size that is aligned to 8 bytes - thus, "outptr = align_ptr(outptr)" can't overshoot the input buffer and the bug can't happen accidentally | |||||
| CVE-2026-46322 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: free page on build_skb failure in tun_xdp_one() When build_skb() fails in tun_xdp_one(), the function sets ret to -ENOMEM and jumps to the out label, which returns without freeing the page that vhost_net_build_xdp() allocated for the frame. As with the short-frame rejection path, tun_sendmsg() discards the per-buffer error and still returns total_len, so vhost_tx_batch() takes the success path and never frees the page. Each build_skb() failure in a batch leaks one page-frag chunk. Free the page before taking the error path, matching the put_page() the other error exits of tun_xdp_one() already perform. | |||||
