CVE-2026-98583 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nfcmrvl: validate helper command length before pull The firmware download receive path removes the NCI data header and reads the helper command before validating the remaining packet length. A short frame can therefore reach the data access before the malformed packet is rejected. Validate the complete helper command length before stripping the NCI data header.
CVE-2026-98567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: xps: reject an out of range traffic class Only the entries below dev->num_tc are valid in dev->tc_to_txq[], and dev->prio_tc_map[] may only name classes below it. netdev_set_num_tc() lowers dev->num_tc without touching either array. netdev_txq_to_tc() walks all TC_MAX_QUEUE slots and netdev_get_prio_tc_map() returns the entry as it stands, so a leftover entry is handed out as a traffic class >= dev->num_tc. Taking that class from netdev_txq_to_tc(), __netif_set_xps_queue() rejects only a negative one and indexes an XPS map sized for dev->num_tc classes: tci = j * num_tc + tc; RCU_INIT_POINTER(new_dev_maps->attr_map[tci], map); attr_map[] holds nr_ids * num_tc entries and j runs over the ids named in the mask, so a class that is not below num_tc pushes tci past the end of the map for the last ids and the store overruns it. Any caller that lowers num_tc leaves such entries behind, and mqprio_destroy() tears down with netdev_set_num_tc(dev, 0) rather than netdev_reset_tc(). After mqprio with 8 classes then 1, tc_to_txq[1..7] still describe txq 1..7. The splat is from an XPS write to txq 2 on a veth with 8 rx queues: attr_map[] has 8 * 1 entries, tci = j + 2, and j == 6 stores one past the end of the 88-byte map: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2954) Write of size 8 at addr ffff88813016bc58 by task xps_oob/634 __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2954) xps_rxqs_store (net/core/net-sysfs.c:1880) netdev_queue_attr_store (net/core/net-sysfs.c:1390) Allocated by task 634: __kmalloc_noprof (mm/slub.c:5439) __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2937) The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of allocated 88-byte region [ffff88813016bc00, ffff88813016bc58) Reject a class the map has no room for.
CVE-2026-97837 1 Microsoft 28 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 25 more 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
Out-of-bounds read in DNS Server allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
CVE-2026-64598 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/client: Fix error code in smb2_aead_req_alloc() The "*num_sgs" variable is a u32 so "ERR_PTR(*num_sgs)" doesn't work. We would have to do something similar to the previous line where it's cast to int and then long. However, it's simpler to store the return in an int ret variable. This bug would eventually result in a crash when dereference the invalid error pointer.
CVE-2026-68082 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix two unsafe bare decodes in decode_lockers() decode_lockers() in cls_lock_client.c contains two bare decode operations that allow a malicious or compromised OSD to trigger slab-out-of-bounds reads: 1. ceph_decode_32(p) at the num_lockers field has no preceding bounds check. ceph_start_decoding() accepts struct_len=0 as valid -- the internal ceph_decode_need(p, end, 0, bad) always passes -- so when an OSD sends struct_len=0, ceph_start_decoding() returns success with p == end. The immediately following bare ceph_decode_32(p) then reads 4 bytes past the validated buffer boundary. The garbage value is passed directly to kzalloc_objs() as the locker count. The sibling function decode_watchers() in osd_client.c already uses ceph_decode_32_safe() after its own ceph_start_decoding() call. decode_lockers() was the only site using the bare variant. 2. ceph_decode_8(p) after the decode_locker() loop has no preceding bounds check. If an OSD crafts num_lockers such that the loop advances p exactly to end, the subsequent bare ceph_decode_8(p) reads one byte past the validated buffer boundary. The result is passed directly into *type, which is used as a lock type discriminator by callers, giving an OSD-controlled one-byte OOB read with direct influence over the lock type field. Fix both by replacing bare operations with their safe variants: ceph_decode_32(p) -> ceph_decode_32_safe(p, end, *num_lockers, err_inval) ceph_decode_8(p) -> ceph_decode_8_safe(p, end, *type, err_free_lockers) The goto targets differ intentionally: err_inval: is a new label returning -EINVAL directly. It is used for the pre-allocation failure path where *lockers is not yet allocated and must not be passed to ceph_free_lockers(). err_free_lockers: is the existing label. It is used for the post-allocation failure path where *lockers is allocated and must be freed. ret is set to -EINVAL before ceph_decode_8_safe() so that err_free_lockers returns the correct error code on bounds violation. Without this, err_free_lockers would return a stale ret value (0 from the successful decode_locker() loop), silently swallowing the error. -EINVAL is correct for both failure paths. The data received from the OSD is structurally malformed. -ENOMEM would misrepresent the failure class to callers and to stable@ backporters triaging error paths. Attacker model: a malicious or compromised OSD in a multi-tenant Ceph deployment can trigger this against any kernel client that issues the lock.get_info class method (e.g. during RBD exclusive lock acquisition). CVE-2026-98582 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: st21nfca: validate received frame size st21nfca_hci_i2c_repack() trims a received frame at its EOF marker before removing byte stuffing. It then assumes the truncated frame contains the LLC header and two CRC bytes, and it unconditionally reads the byte after an escape marker. A malformed frame can place EOF immediately after the start marker or can end its data portion with an escape marker. The former leaves too few bytes for check_crc(), while the latter makes the unstuffing loop read past the current skb length. Require the minimum framing bytes both before and after unstuffing. Use separate input and output cursors while removing byte stuffing, and reject an escape marker without its encoded byte. This keeps malformed frames within the received frame boundary before CRC processing.
CVE-2026-76763 1 Redhat 2 Build Of Quarkus, Quarkus 2026-10-20 7.5 High
A flaw was found in SmallRye GraphQL. The number scalar coercion for BigInteger does not properly validate the magnitude of float or string inputs. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a GraphQL query containing a large exponent float literal. This can lead to the allocation of extremely large BigInteger objects, causing CPU exhaustion or an OutOfMemoryError, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-12894 1 Redhat 7 Apache Camel Quarkus, Build Of Apache Camel For Quarkus, Build Of Quarkus and 4 more 2026-10-20 8.8 High
A flaw was found in the Qute template engine, which is used by Quarkus to generate dynamic content like HTML pages or emails. The issue exists in the component responsible for looking up data values (ReflectionValueResolver), which fails to properly block access to sensitive Java internal functions when processing certain data types like Enums. An attacker who can provide or influence the template text can exploit this bypass to take control of the server by executing unauthorized commands.
CVE-2026-9800 1 Redhat 5 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak, Jbosseapxp and 2 more 2026-10-20 8.1 High
A flaw was found in Keycloak Policy Enforcer. This vulnerability allows any authenticated user to bypass all authorization policies, including role, scope, and User-Managed Access (UMA) permission checks. By including the configured access-denied page path within a request URL, either as a path segment or a query parameter, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to protected resources.
CVE-2025-2240 1 Redhat 9 Apache Camel Spring Boot, Apicurio Registry, Camel Quarkus and 6 more 2026-10-20 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Smallrye, where smallrye-fault-tolerance is vulnerable to an out-of-memory (OOM) issue. This vulnerability is externally triggered when calling the metrics URI. Every call creates a new object within meterMap and may lead to a denial of service (DoS) issue.
CVE-2026-88753 2026-10-20 7.5 High
A Regular-Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) in the Markdown2. extract_metadata() function (lib/markdown2.py) of trentm markdown2 through v2.5.5 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted Markdown document.
CVE-2026-77427 2026-10-20 5.9 Medium
FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. From 3.9.0 until 3.22.0, pristine manual FileRise installations without PERSISTENT_TOKENS_KEY or metadata/persistent_tokens.key can activate a published legacy compatibility key. If an attacker separately obtains ciphertext-bearing account or configuration files, the known fallback key can enable decryption of TOTP secrets or credentials. Docker installations already generated a unique persistent key, and existing installations are not automatically rotated because doing so could make encrypted state unreadable. This issue is fixed in version 3.22.0.
CVE-2026-110871 1 Nodemailer 1 Nodemailer 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
Nodemailer from 3.0.0 before 10.0.10 contains a denial of service vulnerability in MessageParser.parseHeaders that allows users to exhaust CPU through quadratic header unfolding. Attackers can supply large recipient lists or long headers that fold into tens of thousands of continuation lines, blocking the Node.js event loop during DKIM signing.
CVE-2026-110856 1 Gitpython Project 1 Gitpython 2026-10-20 7.5 High
GitPython before 3.2.0 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability in the _re_actor_epoch pattern used by parse_actor_and_date on author, committer, and tagger lines. Attackers can serve repositories with commit or tag objects containing long space-filled lines lacking a valid epoch or timezone, causing quadratic backtracking and CPU exhaustion.
CVE-2026-110846 1 N8n 1 N8n 2026-10-20 N/A
n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a signature bypass in the waiting-webhook endpoint, which selects Send-and-Wait validation before normalising an alternate node reference form. Attackers holding an execution's resume token can approve waiting executions meant for others, running downstream actions under the workflow owner's credentials, potentially including command execution.
CVE-2026-110698 1 Praat 1 Praat 2026-10-20 6.3 Medium
A security vulnerability has been detected in Praat up to 7.0.02. Affected is the function whisper_model_load of the file external/whispercpp/whisper.cpp of the component Model Loader. The manipulation of the argument n_dims leads to out-of-bounds write. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The identifier of the patch is a910d21a2705ef4cd16d91f29cdc8da1ab1a7221. To fix this issue, it is recommended to deploy a patch. The project maintainer confirms: "We did a quick fix (suggested fix 1) for Praat version 7.0.03, and scheduled a better fix (suggested fix 2)."
CVE-2026-98601 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 6.2 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate device-supplied DMA indices In btintel_pcie_msix_rx_handle(), the driver processes RX completion descriptors (urbd1) written by the PCIe device into DMA-coherent memory. urbd1->frbd_tag (a 16-bit field fully controlled by the device firmware via DMA) is used directly as an array index into rxq->bufs[] without any bounds check. rxq->bufs[] has only BTINTEL_PCIE_RX_DESCS_COUNT (64) entries, while frbd_tag can be any value 0-65535. A malicious or malfunctioning device can write an out-of-range frbd_tag, causing the driver to dereference an out-of-bounds data_buf pointer. Additionally, cr_hia is read from a DMA-shared index array also writable by the device; if the device sets cr_hia >= rxq->count, the while-loop never terminates because cr_tia is wrapped via modulo rxq->count and can never equal an out-of-range cr_hia. Add bounds validation for cr_hia and frbd_tag in the RX path, and cr_hia in the TX path. Log invalid values with bt_dev_err before returning.
CVE-2026-98602 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bnep: fix out-of-bounds reads on short RX/TX frames and control fallthrough Fix multiple out-of-bounds reads in Bluetooth BNEP frame processing: 1. In bnep_rx_frame() and bnep_ctrl_frame() (net/bluetooth/bnep/core.c), use pskb_may_pull() to verify the BNEP header, control type byte, filter count, and extension headers exist before reading them, and return 0 after handling BNEP_CONTROL instead of falling through to Ethernet frame submission when no extension headers follow. 2. In bnep_net_xmit() (net/bluetooth/bnep/netdev.c), verify skb->len >= ETH_HLEN with pskb_may_pull() before reading the 14-byte Ethernet header to prevent an out-of-bounds heap read and infoleak on short AF_PACKET TX frames.
CVE-2026-53267 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_ct: bail out on template ct in get eval I noticed this issue while looking at a historic syzbot report [1]. A rule like the one below is enough to trigger the bug: table ip t { chain pre { type filter hook prerouting priority raw; ct zone set 1 ct original saddr 1.2.3.4 accept } } The first expression attaches a per-cpu template ct via nft_ct_set_zone_eval() (nf_ct_tmpl_alloc -> kzalloc, tuple is all zero, nf_ct_l3num(ct) == 0). The next expression then calls nft_ct_get_eval() on the same skb, treats the template as a real ct and hits the 16-byte memcpy path. With dreg at NFT_REG32_15 this overflows past struct nft_regs on the kernel stack; with smaller dreg values it silently clobbers adjacent registers. Reject template ct at the eval entry and in nft_ct_get_fast_eval(), mirroring the check nft_ct_set_eval() already has. Additionally, bound the address copy in NFT_CT_SRC / NFT_CT_DST by priv->len instead of by nf_ct_l3num(ct): nf_ct_get_tuple() zeroes the tuple before pkt_to_tuple() fills in only the protocol-relevant leading bytes, so the trailing bytes of tuple->{src,dst}.u3.all are well-defined zero. priv->len is validated at rule load, so the copy size is now bounded by the destination register rather than by an untrusted field on the conntrack. CVE-2026-53354 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs A number of CPUs developed by Arm suffer from errata whereby a broadcast TLBI;DSB sequence may complete before the global observation of writes which are translated by an affected TLB entry. These errata ONLY affect the completion of memory accesses which have been translated by an invalidated TLB entry, and these errata DO NOT affect the actual invalidation of TLB entries. TLB entries are removed correctly. This issue has been assigned CVE ID CVE-2025-10263. To mitigate this issue, Arm recommends that software follows any affected TLBI;DSB sequence with an additional TLBI;DSB, which will ensure that all memory write effects affected by the first TLBI have been globally observed. The additional TLBI can use any operation that is broadcast to affected CPUs, and the additional DSB can use any option that is sufficient to complete the additional TLBI. The ARM64_WORKAROUND_REPEAT_TLBI workaround is sufficient to mitigate the issue. Enable this workaround for affected CPUs, and update the silicon errata documentation accordingly. Note that due to the manner in which Arm develops IP and tracks errata, some CPUs share a common erratum number.
