| Microsoft Office Remote Code Execution Vulnerability |
| Telegram rlottie Numeric Truncation Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Telegram. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the rlottie library. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write before the start of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-30207. |
| In the modem OTA stack, there is a possible stack-based buffer overflow due to improper validation of scheduling information in SIB1 messages. This could lead to remote code execution or denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. |
| Thelia 2.6.1 contains an absolute path traversal vulnerability in its Smarty template handling that enables SSTI and remote code execution. The `checkTemplate()` validation restricts relative directory traversal sequences such as `../` but does not reject absolute paths, allowing an authorized user to supply an arbitrary filesystem path as a template. Smarty then loads and compiles the referenced file without an effective security policy, so depending on filesystem layout and deployment configuration, template code in the file can be executed with the web server's privileges. |
| FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.7.9.3, 2.8.x before 2.8.11.1 and 2.9.x before 2.9.5 allows unauthenticated remote code execution because of an incomplete fix for the CVE-2017-7525 deserialization flaw. This is exploitable by sending maliciously crafted JSON input to the readValue method of the ObjectMapper, bypassing a blacklist that is ineffective if the c3p0 libraries are available in the classpath. |
| Microsoft Office 2007 SP2, Microsoft Office Word Viewer, Microsoft Office 2010 SP2, Microsoft Office 2013 SP1 and RT SP1, Microsoft Office 2016, and Microsoft Office 2016 Click-to-Run (C2R) allow a remote code execution vulnerability, due to how Office handles objects in memory, aka "Microsoft Office Memory Corruption Vulnerability". This CVE is unique from CVE-2018-0852. |
| The Email Customizer for WooCommerce (Pro) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in versions up to, and including, 3.9.5. This is due to insufficient authorization and input sanitization in the send_test_mail() function, which allows user-controlled PHP code to be written to executable files in the uploads directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server, leading to full site compromise. |
| In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.2,
2026.1.4,
2025.11.8 remote code execution via a whitelist bypass in the build messages protocol was possible |
| The Snazzy Social Media Feed plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.5 via the (file scope) function. This is due to missing WordPress bootstrap, authentication, capability, and nonce checks in the standalone save-to-cache.php script, combined with insufficient sanitization of the pluginURL parameter before it is written to a web-executable PHP file. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The save-to-cache.php script is directly reachable without loading WordPress; FILTER_SANITIZE_URL — the only filter applied to the pluginURL value — preserves the characters required to craft a valid PHP payload, which is then written verbatim into cached-content/cached-feed.php and immediately executable via a single GET request. |
| The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.10 via the compressCustom function. This is due to missing file type validation and extension filtering on the page_id parameter, combined with a world-readable leaked nonce that bypasses authentication checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This exploit chain requires obtaining the plugin's REST nonce (tenwebio_rest), which is automatically serialized to a world-readable file under wp-content/uploads/ whenever a bulk optimisation batch pauses; because the nonce is generated in a cron/loopback context with a user ID of 0, it is valid for unauthenticated visitors. |
| The AGE-GATE plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.0 via the 'width (and height)' parameter parameter. This is due to missing authentication, capability checks, and nonce verification on the standalone admin.php endpoint, combined with unsanitized injection of POST parameters directly into generated PHP source written to an included file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is possible because admin.php does not load WordPress and carries no ABSPATH guard, making it a fully unauthenticated entry point regardless of the decorative capability arguments registered via the plugin's simulated menu API. |
| Thelia v2.6.0 permits authenticated administrators to upload and install modules via the ZIP upload function without validating or sandboxing embedded PHP code. An attacker can include malicious PHP code in a module's `install()` method which will then be executed upon installation, enabling remote code execution with the privileges of the web server. |
| Post-authentication Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability has been identified in the SonicWall Network Security Manager (NSM) on-prem which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands, resulting in remote code execution. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Office when the software fails to properly handle objects in memory, aka "Office Remote Code Execution Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8509, CVE-2017-8510, CVE-2017-8511, CVE-2017-0260, and CVE-2017-8506. |
| Thelia v2.6.1 contains path traversal and PHP code injection vulnerabilities in its translation editor that can be chained to achieve remote code execution. The `item_name` parameter, used to build the translation file's write path, does not sanitize directory traversal sequences such as `../`. This enables an authenticated user with `UPDATE`-level permissions on `admin.configuration.language` to write files outside the expected `templates/` directory, including to web‑accessible paths. Separately, the translation‑writing logic does not escape `\` in user‑supplied values, allowing inputs to break out of the PHP string literal and inject executable code into the translation file. Chained together, these flaws allow a malicious PHP file to be written to a web-accessible path and executed with the web‑server’s privileges. |
| Microsoft Office 2007 SP3, Office 2010 SP2, Office 2013 SP1, Office 2016, Office Online Server 2016, Office Web Apps 2010 SP2,Office Web Apps 2013 SP1, Project Server 2013 SP1, SharePoint Enterprise Server 2013 SP1, SharePoint Enterprise Server 2016, SharePoint Foundation 2013 SP1, Sharepoint Server 2010 SP2, Word 2016, and Skype for Business 2016 allow a remote code execution vulnerability when the software fails to properly handle objects in memory, aka "Office Remote Code Execution Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-0261 and CVE-2017-0262. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Vert.x DB2 client (vertx-db2-client) contains DRDA protocol handling code that deserializes User Defined Type (UDT) column data using a bare ObjectInputStream.readObject() call with no ObjectInputFilter or class allowlist.
This code path is triggered when a DRDA server sends a result set with a column tagged as UDT (FDOCA protocol LID 0x50). However, DB2 does not support this type of UDT. The FDOCA 0x50 type is never sent by a legitimate DB2 server.
Nevertheless, a malicious or man-in-the-middle DRDA server could craft a response with a 0x50-tagged column, causing the client to deserialize arbitrary attacker-controlled bytes on the Vert.x event loop before any application code can inspect or reject the data. If a Java deserialization gadget chain is present on the application's classpath, this enables remote code execution. Without a gadget chain, denial of service is possible via crafted object graphs. TLS is disabled by default, making man-in-the-middle exploitation feasible.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-db2-client. |
| Improper bounds validation in the ZAP command parser of EmberZNet SDK versions 8.0.0 through 9.1.1 (inclusive) and before 7.5.2 (exclusive) may result in crashes or dynamic memory leakage. In order to exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would have to have the ability to send arbitrary messages on the network. The only known exploit of this vulnerability leaks a limited number of bytes from the stack. No denial-of-service, memory corruption, or remote code execution has been shown. |
| GitPython before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to run commands because Git.ls_remote forwards URLs without check_unsafe_protocols validation. Attackers can supply ext:: remote-helper URLs to execute commands when git permits the ext transport, while merge_base and IndexFile.move also accept unguarded option injection. |
