Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.6 and 9.5.0-alpha.4, the readOnlyMasterKey can call POST /loginAs to obtain a valid session token for any user. This allows a read-only credential to impersonate arbitrary users with full read and write access to their data. Any Parse Server deployment that uses readOnlyMasterKey is affected. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.6 and 9.5.0-alpha.4.

  • (es) Parse Server es un backend de código abierto que puede ser desplegado en cualquier infraestructura que pueda ejecutar Node.js. Antes de las versiones 8.6.6 y 9.5.0-alpha.4, la readOnlyMasterKey puede llamar a POST /loginAs para obtener un token de sesión válido para cualquier usuario. Esto permite a una credencial de solo lectura suplantar a usuarios arbitrarios con acceso completo de lectura y escritura a sus datos. Cualquier despliegue de Parse Server que utilice readOnlyMasterKey se ve afectado. Este problema ha sido parcheado en las versiones 8.6.6 y 9.5.0-alpha.4.
