In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/microcode/AMD: Fix __apply_microcode_amd()'s return value When verify_sha256_digest() fails, __apply_microcode_amd() should propagate the failure by returning false (and not -1 which is promoted to true).

  • (es) En el kernel de Linux, se ha resuelto la siguiente vulnerabilidad: x86/microcode/AMD: Se corrige el valor de retorno de __apply_microcode_amd() Cuando verify_sha256_digest() falla, __apply_microcode_amd() debe propagar la falla devolviendo falso (y no -1 que se promueve a verdadero).
