CVSS v3.1 |
This is a vulnerability in Bitbucket Data Center, Confluence Data Center, Jira Service Management Data Center, Jira Software Data Center, Bamboo Data Center. Crowd Data Center, Crucible and Fisheye. This Arbitrary File Access vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the target file's exact name and path; this vulnerability does not allow attackers to enumerate or list directory contents. In some configurations, there may be some sensitive files that make this highly severe. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. The vulnerability must be addressed for affected versions of: -- Bitbucket Data Center, introduced in version >= 4.6.0, fix versions: 9.4.26, 10.2.8, 10.5.1 -- Confluence Data Center, introduced in version >= 5.10.0, fix versions 9.2.26, 10.2.19 -- Crowd Data Center, introduced in version >= 2.11.0, fix versions 6.3.7, 7.0.3, 7.1.7, 7.2.4 -- Jira Software Data Center, introduced in version >= 7.1.0, fix versions 9.12.40, 10.3.26, 11.3.12 -- Jira Service Management Data Center, introduced in version >= 3.1.0, fix versions 5.12.40, 10.3.26, 11.3.12 -- Bamboo Data Center >= 7.0.1, fix versions 10.2.24, 12.1.12 -- Crucible, fix versions 4.9.15 -- Fisheye, fix version 4.9.15 -- Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the target file's exact name and path. The vulnerability does not include the capability to enumerate or list directory contents.
The Mapper component in Apache Tomcat 6.x before 6.0.45, 7.x before 7.0.68, 8.x before 8.0.30, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M2 processes redirects before considering security constraints and Filters, which allows remote attackers to determine the existence of a directory via a URL that lacks a trailing / (slash) character.
OmniFaces is a utility library for Faces. In OmniFaces versions before 1.14.3, 2.7.33, 3.14.23, 4.7.12, and 5.4.2, CombinedResourceHandler accepts a structurally valid deflated and base64 encoded combined resource ID without verifying that the server issued it. A forged ID can cause unbounded decoded output, add unique reconstructed IDs to a process-lifetime cache, or combine resources other than stylesheets and scripts. Because jakarta.faces.RESOURCE_EXCLUDES is not applied by this custom resolution path, a forged ID can disclose Facelets source from the webapp resource tree or META-INF/resources. In a deployment configured with the wildcard CDN mapping, a forged ID that selects omnifaces.graphic can also cause a blind, deployment-dependent server-side fetch whose destination derives partly from the request Host header. The flaw does not provide arbitrary file read or establish arbitrary-scheme or arbitrary-destination SSRF. The shared authenticity failure permits memory exhaustion and limited resource disclosure. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.3, 2.7.33, 3.14.23, 4.7.12, and 5.4.2.
Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0
A vulnerability involving improper access control in the TSplus Remote Access web server that allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal resources protected by manipulated paths through the /socket.io/JWN/ endpoint, bypassing the access restrictions intended for certain internal resources.
Forms using FileUpload or ImageUpload elements with a custom saveToFileMount configured stored uploaded files in the default storage folder 1:/user_upload/ instead of the configured destination. This could cause uploaded files to end up in a publicly accessible storage even though a restricted, non-public storage had been configured. Files stored this way are served directly, without the access checks applied to non-public storages. Forms that use the default value for saveToFileMount are not affected. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 14.0.0-14.3.8.
Files or directories accessible to external parties in Windows Projected File System allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
Files or directories accessible to external parties in WebDAV allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Files or directories accessible to external parties in Windows Event Viewer allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Files or directories accessible to external parties in Windows Bind Filter Driver allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal allows an unauthenticated attacker to access restricted resources and retrieve non-critical application information, which leads to Low impact on Confidentiality, but there is no impact on Integrity and Availability of the application.
A flaw has been found in code-projects Matrimonial System 1.0. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file db/matrimony.sql. This manipulation causes files or directories accessible. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
The Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.8 via the get_file_path. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract download exported order CSV files containing customer PII — including names, billing and shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order contents — directly over HTTP with no authentication. This is exploitable whenever the .htaccess and index.php guard files are absent from wp-content/webtoffee_export/, which can occur after any uninstall/reinstall cycle, migration, backup restore, or staging sync, since the export directory persists but its guard files do not; export filenames follow a fully deterministic second-precision timestamp pattern, making them brute-forceable across any suspected export window.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.9.1, the @backstage/plugin-catalog-backend package is affected by inconsistent enforcement of allowed location types during catalog processing. Under certain configurations, the catalog backend could process location types that were not intended to be allowed, potentially leading to unintended file access on the backend host. This issue is fixed in version 3.9.1.
The default configuration of javax.servlet.context.tempdir in Apache Commons FileUpload 1.0 through 1.2.2 uses the /tmp directory for uploaded files, which allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via an unspecified symlink attack.
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56, a crafted image can bypass an ImageMagick security policy that uses coder as its domain, potentially allowing data prohibited by the policy to be read. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56.
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.82.0 until 2.118.1, HTMLBackendOptions(render_page=True) permits file URLs because HTMLDocumentBackend._get_browser_request_block_reason does not enforce the enable_local_fetch setting or confine local requests to the source document directory. Crafted path-backed HTML can embed a readable local text file in a browser-rendered page image when Playwright is installed. Only filesystem Path inputs are affected because stream inputs use an opaque origin, and the default configuration, command-line interface, docling-serve, and non-rendering backends are not affected. This issue is fixed in 2.118.1.
An improper access control vulnerability exists in GROWI, which allow an unauthenticated attacker to read files contained in non-public pages of the affected product when the file upload setting is configured as "Local".
| Internal state files accessible to external parties in mod_dav_fs in Apache Software Foundation Apache HTTP Server before 2.4.69 on all platforms allows a remote client to read WebDAV dead properties of resources it cannot author via a GET request for the .DAV state directory
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.0 through 2.4.68. |
The file export endpoint allows any unauthenticated attacker to export arbitrary database tables by sending a crafted POST request.
