CVSS v3.1 |
| Misuse and misconfiguration in Bluetooth communication in SwitchBot Door Lock Series allows an attacker to bypass the electronic lock and access controls via a manipulated communication protocol. |
| SODOLA SL902-SWTGW124AS firmware before 200.2.12 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause a denial of service by sending an oversized boundary value in the Content-Type header of a crafted POST request. Attackers can exploit the embedded HTTP server's multipart/form-data boundary parser to cause the device to become fully unresponsive — dropping all management access and traffic forwarding during its self-recovery cycle. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in madmurphy libconfini v.1.16.4 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via an allocation-size mismatch between its bundled load_ini_buffer utility and strip_ini_cache() |
| A flaw has been found in Edimax BR-6208AC 1.32. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /goform/formWlSiteSurvey. This manipulation of the argument ifname causes buffer overflow. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve EP11 CPRB length and overflow checks
The xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() function lacks proper input
validation, creating security vulnerabilities:
1. Missing minimum size validation: The ep11_cprb structure and
subsequent payload fields (pld_tag, pld_lenfmt) are copied from
userspace without verifying sufficient buffer length.
2. Arithmetic overflow in length calculations: CEIL4 alignment could
overflow, bypassing size checks and enabling buffer overflows.
3. The payload is asn1 encoded but the function just uses a simple c
struct overlay to access some fields of the payload.
Fix by using size_t for length calculations, adding U32_MAX boundary
checks after alignment, and validating minimum request size and
minimum reply size before copying from userspace. Do a very simple
asn1 parsing of the payload up to the function value field. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: hci_event: move wake reason storage into validated event handlers
hci_store_wake_reason() is called from hci_event_packet() immediately
after stripping the HCI event header but before hci_event_func()
enforces the per-event minimum payload length from hci_ev_table.
This means a short HCI event frame can reach bacpy() before any bounds
check runs.
Rather than duplicating skb parsing and per-event length checks inside
hci_store_wake_reason(), move wake-address storage into the individual
event handlers after their existing event-length validation has
succeeded. Convert hci_store_wake_reason() into a small helper that only
stores an already-validated bdaddr while the caller holds hci_dev_lock().
Use the same helper after hci_event_func() with a NULL address to
preserve the existing unexpected-wake fallback semantics when no
validated event handler records a wake address.
Annotate the helper with __must_hold(&hdev->lock) and add
lockdep_assert_held(&hdev->lock) so future call paths keep the lock
contract explicit.
Call the helper from hci_conn_request_evt(), hci_conn_complete_evt(),
hci_sync_conn_complete_evt(), le_conn_complete_evt(),
hci_le_adv_report_evt(), hci_le_ext_adv_report_evt(),
hci_le_direct_adv_report_evt(), hci_le_pa_sync_established_evt(), and
hci_le_past_received_evt(). |
| A buffer copy without checking size of input vulnerability has been reported to affect Qsync Central. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to modify memory or crash processes.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
Qsync Central 5.0.0.4 and later |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: target: configfs: Bound snprintf() return in tg_pt_gp_members_show()
target_tg_pt_gp_members_show() formats LUN paths with snprintf() into a
256-byte stack buffer, then will memcpy() cur_len bytes from that
buffer. snprintf() returns the length the output would have had, which
can exceed the buffer size when the fabric WWN is long because iSCSI IQN
names can be up to 223 bytes. The check at the memcpy() site only
guards the destination page write, not the source read, so memcpy() will
read past the stack buffer and copy adjacent stack contents to the sysfs
reader, which when CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE is enabled, fortify_panic()
will be triggered.
Commit 27e06650a5ea ("scsi: target: target_core_configfs: Add length
check to avoid buffer overflow") added the same bound to the
target_lu_gp_members_show() but the tg_pt_gp variant was missed so
resolve that here. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read()
Add a DMA-safe buffer and use it for spi_read() instead of a stack
memory. All SPI buffers must be DMA-safe.
Since we only need up to 3 bytes, we just use a u8[] instead of __be16
and __be32 and change the conversion functions appropriately. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFC: digital: Bounds check NFC-A cascade depth in SDD response handler
The NFC-A anti-collision cascade in digital_in_recv_sdd_res() appends 3
or 4 bytes to target->nfcid1 on each round, but the number of cascade
rounds is controlled entirely by the peer device. The peer sets the
cascade tag in the SDD_RES (deciding 3 vs 4 bytes) and the
cascade-incomplete bit in the SEL_RES (deciding whether another round
follows).
ISO 14443-3 limits NFC-A to three cascade levels and target->nfcid1 is
sized accordingly (NFC_NFCID1_MAXSIZE = 10), but nothing in the driver
actually enforces this. This means a malicious peer can keep the
cascade running, writing past the heap-allocated nfc_target with each
round.
Fix this by rejecting the response when the accumulated UID would exceed
the buffer.
Commit e329e71013c9 ("NFC: nci: Bounds check struct nfc_target arrays")
fixed similar missing checks against the same field on the NCI path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_ife: Fix metalist update behavior
Whenever an ife action replace changes the metalist, instead of
replacing the old data on the metalist, the current ife code is appending
the new metadata. Aside from being innapropriate behavior, this may lead
to an unbounded addition of metadata to the metalist which might cause an
out of bounds error when running the encode op:

the ife rcu data structure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: avoid buffer overflow attach in smu_sys_set_pp_table()
It malicious user provides a small pptable through sysfs and then
a bigger pptable, it may cause buffer overflow attack in function
smu_sys_set_pp_table(). |
| When libcurl is asked to perform automatic gzip decompression of
content-encoded HTTP responses with the `CURLOPT_ACCEPT_ENCODING` option,
**using zlib 1.2.0.3 or older**, an attacker-controlled integer overflow would
make libcurl perform a buffer overflow. |
| gio/gsocks4aproxy.c in GNOME GLib before 2.82.1 has an off-by-one error and resultant buffer overflow because SOCKS4_CONN_MSG_LEN is not sufficient for a trailing '\0' character. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: scomp - fix req->dst buffer overflow
The req->dst buffer size should be checked before copying from the
scomp_scratch->dst to avoid req->dst buffer overflow problem. |
| An issue was discovered in drivers/net/ethernet/intel/igb/igb_main.c in the IGB driver in the Linux kernel before 6.5.3. A buffer size may not be adequate for frames larger than the MTU. |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a buffer overflow. |
| sprintf in the GNU C Library (glibc) 2.37 has a buffer overflow (out-of-bounds write) in some situations with a correct buffer size. This is unrelated to CWE-676. It may write beyond the bounds of the destination buffer when attempting to write a padded, thousands-separated string representation of a number, if the buffer is allocated the exact size required to represent that number as a string. For example, 1,234,567 (with padding to 13) overflows by two bytes. |
| Multiple buffer overflows in the (1) png_set_PLTE and (2) png_get_PLTE functions in libpng before 1.0.64, 1.1.x and 1.2.x before 1.2.54, 1.3.x and 1.4.x before 1.4.17, 1.5.x before 1.5.24, and 1.6.x before 1.6.19 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a small bit-depth value in an IHDR (aka image header) chunk in a PNG image. |
| A vulnerability was found in GNU C Library 2.38. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function __monstartup of the file gmon.c of the component Call Graph Monitor. The manipulation leads to buffer overflow. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-220246 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The inputs that induce this vulnerability are basically addresses of the running application that is built with gmon enabled. It's basically trusted input or input that needs an actual security flaw to be compromised or controlled. |
