RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, _receive() in sys/net/gnrc/network_layer/sixlowpan/gnrc_sixlowpan.c can route an undersized packet into SFF fragment handling after only a minimal payload check. The code then interprets the packet as a sixlowpan_frag_t or larger fragment header without verifying that the packet snip contains the required bytes. A remote attacker can send a malformed 6LoWPAN fragment that causes gnrc_sixlowpan_frag_recv() to read beyond the packet buffer, potentially disclosing memory and crashing the network stack. No fixed repository release is available as of this review.
FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in freerdp_assistance_parse_all_elements_of() because it advances its parsing cursor without reducing the remaining length, letting the scan window exceed the decrypted ConnectionString2 buffer. Attackers can supply a crafted .msrcIncident invitation file and password that crash xfreerdp when opened, before any RDP connection.
FreeRDP from 3.9.0 before 3.32.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the RDPEAR NDR scalar readers, which check value length before consuming alignment padding. Malicious or compromised RDP servers can send crafted unaligned RDPEAR payloads, such as CreateApReqAuthenticatorReq messages, to clients using Remote Credential Guard, causing over-reads and potentially crashing the client process.
FreeRDP from 2.0.0-beta1 before 3.28.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in smartcard_LocateCardsByATRA_Call because the ATR pattern cbAtr byte count is not capped. Malicious RDP servers can send crafted ATR mask arrays to use query timing as an oracle, leaking heap memory bit-by-bit to defeat ASLR and aid RCE exploits.
ImageMagick 7.1.1-7 before 7.1.2-32 contains a heap buffer over-read vulnerability that allows attackers to read beyond allocated memory due to incorrect string termination in XMP profiles. Attackers can supply a crafted image containing a malformed XMP profile to trigger the over-read and crash the application.
A vulnerability has been identified in Capital Embedded AR Classic 431-422 (All versions), Capital Embedded AR Classic R20-11 (All versions < V2303), Desigo PXC00-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC00-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC001-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC100-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC12-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC128-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC200-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC22-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC22.1-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC36.1-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC50-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC64-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXM20-E (All versions >= V2.3). The affected product does not properly validate input bounds before accessing packet data. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger memory reads outside the intended packet boundaries.
ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the JPEG decoder, which performs a read that exposes uninitialized memory when handling crafted input. Attackers can supply a crafted JPEG file for processing to disclose uninitialized memory contents.
An out-of-bounds memory read vulnerability exists in the web management daemon of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. Unauthenticated HTTP endpoints process specific URL query parameters without validating array index boundaries or performing numerical range checks. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a single, crafted HTTP request containing extreme numerical values in the query string. This causes an invalid memory dereference, resulting in a crash of the web management process (Denial of Service) and potential temporary management-plane disruption.
FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in the WinPR clipboard function convert_filedescriptors_to_file_list(), which scans a server-controlled FILEDESCRIPTORW cFileName with unbounded _wcschr() and count_special_chars() calls without a NUL-termination guarantee. A malicious RDP server can send an odd-length FILEDESCRIPTORW blob in a CB_FORMAT_DATA_RESPONSE, crashing X11, Wayland, and SDL clients when the user pastes server-copied files.
A repository's external issue tracker regular expression containing alternating capture groups could produce invalid slice indexes when Gitea rendered issue references, causing a runtime panic that terminated the Gitea process. A user who can edit a repository's external issue tracker settings could make any later rendering of matching content, such as viewing a README, crash the instance for all users.
