CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper access control in Windows Container Isolation FS Filter Driver (unionfs.sys) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
1) XSA-437 (CVE-2023-34321) addressed issues with overflows in
calculations involved in guests flushing caches through
GNTTABOP_cache_flush. Unfortunately the fix there introduced a
calculation which may underflow, resulting in a loop which would - at
least on 64-bit Arm - take excessively long, and which would likely
eventually crash the hypervisor.
This is CVE-2026-102699.
2) GNTTABOP_cache_flush may be issued on memory mapped from another
domain using the grant table interface. However there was no
restriction to disallow the use of invalidate-without-clean against
read-only grant mappings, which may corrupt the granted memory.
This is CVE-2026-102702. |
| Metabase is an open source business intelligence and analytics platform. From 1.55.0 until 1.58.16, 1.59.13, 1.60.9, and 1.61.4, native queries and actions against an H2 data source are passed through without restricting host-facing built-in functions. A user authorized to run native queries or actions can invoke FILE_READ, FILE_WRITE, CSVREAD, CSVWRITE, or LINK_SCHEMA to read or write arbitrary files on the Metabase server or link other databases. The default sample database uses H2, so the vulnerable surface is exposed by default. This issue is fixed in versions 1.58.16, 1.59.13, 1.60.9, and 1.61.4. |
| ConvertX is a self-hosted file conversion service. Prior to 0.18.0, the ImageMagick converter uses the unsanitized convert_to parameter to construct an output path. If an authenticated user, or an unauthenticated user when ConvertX is configured to allow unauthenticated access, uploads an extensionless image and supplies directory traversal sequences in convert_to through /convert, the constructed path escapes the intended output directory, allowing the attacker to write converted output to arbitrary container paths, potentially overwriting files or causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.0. |
| Edgeless Systems Contrast 1.8.0 before 1.24.1 contains an incorrect permissions vulnerability where the node installer writes the containerd config world-writable (0666). Local unprivileged users on the node can modify the containerd config, for example overwriting the runc location, to escalate privileges. |
| Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure, Protection mechanism bypass, and Unauthorized access. |
| The Gitea web route for deleting tags (`POST /{owner}/{repo}/tags/delete`) requires only write access to the Code unit, but shares its handler with release deletion and did not check that the target was a plain tag. A collaborator with Code write access and without Releases write access could permanently delete published releases of that repository, including their attachments. Protected tag rules covering the release tag still blocked the deletion. |
| An incorrect permission assignment for critical resource issue exists in AssetView, AssetView CLOUD, and AssetView Cloud +. If this vulnerability is exploited, a local authenticated attacker who can log in to the Windows system where Management Console or Client Terminal for the product is running may gain SYSTEM privileges. |
| An authenticated Email Protection Gateway administrator holding only limited, delegated permissions could write files with attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations accessible to the Email Protection Gateway service account. This exceeds the administrator's intended privileges and could be used to alter application files and configuration or to disrupt the availability of the service. |
| VideoLAN VLC for Android prior to version 3.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the Remote Access Server routing for the authenticated endpoint GET /download. The file query parameter is concatenated into a filesystem path under the configured download directory without canonicalization or directory containment checks, allowing an authenticated attacker with network reachability to the Remote Access Server to request files outside the intended directory. The impact is bounded by the Android application sandbox and storage restrictions, typically limiting exposure to app-internal and app-specific external storage. |
| In Progress ShareFile Storage Zones Controller v5.12.6 and below, FileCopyService uses a remote file identifier when constructing a local temporary file path without enforcing containment. This can cause FileCopyService to write attacker-controlled content to filesystem locations writable by the service account. This can result in remote code execution when an executable IIS-served directory is writable. |
| ConvertX through 0.19.0 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability that allows authenticated users to read server files because src/converters/pandoc.ts invokes Pandoc without the --sandbox flag. Attackers can upload a reStructuredText document with an include directive naming an absolute path, convert it, and download output containing the referenced file's contents. |
| InnoShop 0.9.2 contains a local file disclosure vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators with files_create permission to read server files by abusing the AI Core MCP file_upload tool's source argument. Attackers can supply file:// or php:// stream wrappers passed to file_get_contents(), storing contents on the public media disk to expose the .env file with APP_KEY and database credentials. |
| An argument injection issue in the diff scan operation in AWS security-agent-mcp-server before version 0.2.0 might allow context-dependent threat actors to create, overwrite, or truncate arbitrary files on the host outside the intended workspace directory via a crafted reference value supplied to the diff scan operation.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.2.0. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to @quasar/icongenie 6.1.1, the icongenie generate --profile command accepted folder and name values from a user-supplied profile without constraining the resolved destination to the Quasar project directory. icongenie/lib/utils/get-assets-files.js joined those values with appDir, while icongenie/lib/utils/validate-profile-object.js required only non-empty strings, allowing parent-directory traversal. A developer who runs a crafted profile can cause generated image content to be written or overwritten at any path writable by that user, potentially modifying shell startup files, build scripts, or other executable configuration. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.1. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to @quasar/ssl-certificate 2.1.0, @quasar/cli 5.0.4, and @quasar/app-vite 3.3.0, the @quasar/ssl-certificate utility cached a combined private key and certificate PEM without explicitly applying owner-only filesystem permissions. Another local user able to read the cache can copy the key and impersonate a development TLS endpoint in an environment that trusts the certificate. The generated certificate was also CA-capable, carried unnecessarily broad key usages, and encoded the IPv6 loopback address as a DNS subject alternative name. This issue is fixed in @quasar/ssl-certificate 2.1.0, @quasar/cli 5.0.4, and @quasar/app-vite 3.3.0. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. From 1.0.0 until 3.3.0, @quasar/app-vite recursively removed the resolved build.distDir before building without rejecting the project root, user home directory, filesystem roots, or symlink-resolved external directories. An unsafe trusted configuration can delete data writable by the build user before compilation begins. No attacker-controlled input reaches build.distDir by default, so exploitation requires compromised or less-trusted automation to influence build configuration, or a developer to run a mistaken configuration. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.17.8, the @backstage/backend-defaults package is affected by improper input validation in cloud storage url readers. An attacker with write access to a cloud storage bucket used by Backstage could craft object names that could collide with protected files in the output directory. In certain deployment configurations, this could lead to content injection. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.8. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.3.25, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend-module-confluence-to-markdown package is affected by improper input validation in confluence to markdown scaffolder module. Insufficient input validation in the Confluence to Markdown scaffolder module could allow an attacker to influence file write operations during template execution. Exploitation requires a Backstage user to run a template that processes attacker-influenced Confluence content. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.25. |
| Incorrect permission assignment in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to read or overwrite the inter-process communication handles used between the TightVNC service and its desktop server process. The named shared memory segment in the Global\ namespace that carries the pipe HANDLE values is created with a NULL DACL, and its name is derived from a time-seeded srand(time(0)) value that is predictable to one-second granularity. A low-privileged local process can open the mapping and tamper with the IPC channel of a service running as SYSTEM, potentially leading to disclosure of session data, privilege escalation, or denial of service. |
