CVSS v3.1 |
| PostgreSQL 10.x before 10.1, 9.6.x before 9.6.6, 9.5.x before 9.5.10, 9.4.x before 9.4.15, 9.3.x before 9.3.20, and 9.2.x before 9.2.24 runs under a non-root operating system account, and database superusers have effective ability to run arbitrary code under that system account. PostgreSQL provides a script for starting the database server during system boot. Packages of PostgreSQL for many operating systems provide their own, packager-authored startup implementations. Several implementations use a log file name that the database superuser can replace with a symbolic link. As root, they open(), chmod() and/or chown() this log file name. This often suffices for the database superuser to escalate to root privileges when root starts the server. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java SE and Java SE Embedded components in Oracle Java SE 6u105, 7u91, and 8u66, and Java SE Embedded 8u65 allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality via vectors related to JMX. |
| There are two invocations of `qrencode` to display a QR code for scanning. These invocations leak the private data $pin / $key via /proc accessible for arbitrary low-privileged users in the system. |
| cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS library. Prior to 0.51.0, create_redirect_client() removes Host, Proxy-Authorization, and Authorization headers when following a cross-origin 301, 302, 307, or 308 redirect but leaves Cookie headers attached. detail::redirect() copies the request for those redirect codes, so cookies supplied directly or through default_headers_ are sent to the redirect target. An attacker who controls a redirect response, or a network position for a non-HTTPS origin, can receive session cookies intended for the original origin. A 303 redirect is not affected because that path clears all request headers. This issue is fixed in version 0.51.0. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Vert.x DB2 client (vertx-db2-client) contains DRDA protocol handling code that deserializes User Defined Type (UDT) column data using a bare ObjectInputStream.readObject() call with no ObjectInputFilter or class allowlist.
This code path is triggered when a DRDA server sends a result set with a column tagged as UDT (FDOCA protocol LID 0x50). However, DB2 does not support this type of UDT. The FDOCA 0x50 type is never sent by a legitimate DB2 server.
Nevertheless, a malicious or man-in-the-middle DRDA server could craft a response with a 0x50-tagged column, causing the client to deserialize arbitrary attacker-controlled bytes on the Vert.x event loop before any application code can inspect or reject the data. If a Java deserialization gadget chain is present on the application's classpath, this enables remote code execution. Without a gadget chain, denial of service is possible via crafted object graphs. TLS is disabled by default, making man-in-the-middle exploitation feasible.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-db2-client. |
| IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift 4.0.6.0 through 4.0.6.0.0.6.0 Refresh (Operator 4.4.6+20260807.081800)4.0.7.04.0.8.04.0.9.04.0.10.0 Interim Fix 064 IBM Financial Transaction Manager transmits sensitive or security-critical data in cleartext in a communication channel that can be sniffed by unauthorized actors. |
| e107 is a content management system (CMS). Prior to 2.3.7, install.php decodes the attacker-controlled previous_steps POST parameter and passes it to unserialize() at file scope and again in the e_install constructor without restricting allowed classes. The installer remains accessible after a normal installation, and a crafted object graph using the bundled GuzzleHttp\Psr7\PumpStream class can flow through paths.hash into site_path, where string coercion invokes an attacker-controlled callable. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach install.php can therefore execute arbitrary PHP functions with the web server process's privileges, leading to full server compromise. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.7. |
| EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to 9.3.7, an authenticated administrator can supply crafted serialized PHP object data that is stored in background MassAction or Export parameters and later deserialized by the application. The deserialization paths do not restrict allowed classes, allowing attacker-controlled object instantiation and arbitrary code execution on the server. This issue is fixed in version 9.3.7. |
| An improper link resolution before file access ('link following') vulnerability has been reported to affect Virtualization Station. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to compromise the security of the system.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
Virtualization Station 4.1.1.130 and later |
| Authentication bypass vulnerability in Stela, versions prior to 1.60.1, due to the use of a cookie named “authProcess” without validating its integrity. The application stores the user identifier (userId) and the status of the authentication process (validSteps) in this cookie and relies on these values—which can be modified by the client—to complete the login process.
A remote attacker, without valid credentials or interaction from other users, could manipulate the cookie to bypass authentication checks and impersonate any account, including one with SUPER_ADMIN privileges. This would allow the attacker to obtain a valid JWT token with administrative privileges and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of the application. |
| In Eclipse Ditto versions 3.6.0 to 3.8.13 and 3.9.0 to 3.9.7, the Ditto Explorer UI loads its complete environment configuration, including the Ditto API URI and the OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider settings, from an arbitrary
cross-origin URL supplied in the environmentsURL query parameter. It adopts this configuration without user confirmation and persists it in the browser's localStorage. A crafted link can therefore set an attacker-controlled OIDC
authority with autoSso enabled. The UI then automatically starts a login at the genuine identity provider but exchanges the returned authorization code together with its PKCE code_verifier at an attacker-controlled token
endpoint. This lets the attacker redeem the code for the victim's access and refresh tokens. Alternatively, an attacker-controlled api_uri causes the UI to send the victim's bearer token or Basic credentials to the attacker. Because
the configuration is persisted, later visits to the UI without the crafted link repeat the token theft. In versions 3.9.0 to 3.9.7, the Swagger UI OIDC integration of the Helm chart and the Docker Compose deployment is affected in
the same way, but requires the user to start the login. The issue is fixed in 3.8.14 and 3.9.8. |
| GitPython from 3.1.62 before 3.2.0 contains a symlink-following flaw in Submodule.move(), which checks the destination only lexically and does not reject symbolic links in intermediate path components. An untrusted repository can commit a symlink such as vendor pointing outside the worktree, so an application moving an initialized submodule beneath it relocates the checkout externally and corrupts the index and .gitmodules. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ata: libata-core: Add NOLPM quirk for PNY CS900 1TB SSD
The PNY CS900 1TB SSD (Phison PS3111-S11, DRAM-less) drops off the bus
after entering Device-Initiated Slumber during idle. With the default
med_power_with_dipm policy the link goes down (SStatus 1 SControl 300)
and does not recover, forcing the filesystem read-only. Forcing
max_performance keeps the link stable across prolonged idle.
Add a NOLPM quirk so link power management is disabled for this drive
specifically, leaving it intact for other devices on the host. |
| Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in ThemeREX Group ThemeREX Addons trx_addons allows Object Injection. This issue affects ThemeREX Addons: from n/a through 2.36.1.1. |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-luks-pkcs11-askpin script writes the PKCS#11 token PIN in plaintext to a file without setting restrictive permissions. Under the default process umask, the file is world-readable. Additionally, the PIN file is not reliably cleaned up if the decryption script exits early, leaving the PIN accessible indefinitely. |
| Crawl4AI from 0.9.0 before 0.9.4 contains an untrusted-config gate bypass that allows non-admin API clients to construct forbidden config objects by wrapping them in dict-type wrappers. Attackers can send a laundered LLMConfig with api_token set to an env reference via /config/dump to read SECRET_KEY and provider keys, enabling admin JWT forgery. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: xtables: restrict several matches to inet family
This is a partial revert of:
commit ab4f21e6fb1c ("netfilter: xtables: use NFPROTO_UNSPEC in more extensions")
to allow ipv4 and ipv6 only.
- xt_mac
- xt_owner
- xt_physdev
These extensions are not used by ebtables in userspace.
Moreover, xt_realm is only for ipv4, since dst->tclassid is ipv4
specific. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nfnetlink_log: initialize nfgenmsg in NLMSG_DONE terminator
When batching multiple NFLOG messages (inst->qlen > 1), __nfulnl_send()
appends an NLMSG_DONE terminator with sizeof(struct nfgenmsg) payload via
nlmsg_put(), but never initializes the nfgenmsg bytes. The nlmsg_put()
helper only zeroes alignment padding after the payload, not the payload
itself, so four bytes of stale kernel heap data are leaked to userspace
in the NLMSG_DONE message body.
Use nfnl_msg_put() to build the NLMSG_DONE terminator, which initializes
the nfgenmsg payload via nfnl_fill_hdr(), consistent with how
__build_packet_message() already constructs NFULNL_MSG_PACKET headers. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 4.1.0, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend package could expose secret-derived values in Scaffolder task logs. Deployments that configure sensitive scaffolder.defaultEnvironment.secrets and allow an attacker to create or modify Scaffolder templates are affected. A template author could cause secret-derived values used during template iteration to be persisted and exposed to users who can access the resulting task logs. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0. |
| A vulnerability was found in GNU Nano that allows a possible privilege escalation through an insecure temporary file. If Nano is killed while editing, a file it saves to an emergency file with the permissions of the running user provides a window of opportunity for attackers to escalate privileges through a malicious symlink. |
