CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in the GnuTLS library, specifically in the gnutls_pkcs11_token_init() function that handles PKCS#11 token initialization. When a token label longer than expected is processed, the function writes past the end of a fixed-size stack buffer. This programming error can cause the application using GnuTLS to crash or, in certain conditions, be exploited for code execution. As a result, systems or applications relying on GnuTLS may be vulnerable to a denial of service or local privilege escalation attacks. |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. |
| A flaw was found in GNU Coreutils. The sort utility's begfield() function is vulnerable to a heap buffer under-read. The program may access memory outside the allocated buffer if a user runs a crafted command using the traditional key format. A malicious input could lead to a crash or leak sensitive data. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the srxpfe of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on the SRX Series allows an L2-adjacent attacker to execute arbitrary code as root via high-availability fabric traffic. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured external BGP neighbor to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via BMP route monitoring. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the srxpfe process of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated network attacker to execute code as root or cause a denial of service via a crafted packet received on a configured GRE tunnel. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated BGP peer to cause a denial of service and potential root-level command execution via crafted BGP route updates when the BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) is enabled. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the kmd component of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated network attacker to execute code as root via specific IKE certificate-based packets.
This issue affects Junos OS on MX Series:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S11;
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S12;
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S8;
* from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S5;
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S9; |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an attacker with access to a configured BGP peering session to cause a denial of service by sending a crafted BGP route attribute, which is processed while a BGP RIB streaming telemetry subscription is active.
This issue does not affect Junos OS versions prior to 22.1R1.
This issue does not affect Junos OS Evolved versions prior to 22.1R1-EVO. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the authd Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a network attacker with SNMP read access to execute code with root privileges or cause a denial of service via a specific SNMP packet, when SNMP and AAA are enabled. |
| In Perl 5.34.0, function S_find_uninit_var in sv.c has a stack-based crash that can lead to remote code execution or local privilege escalation. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in SQL Server allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| curl can be told to parse a `.netrc` file for credentials. If that file endsin a line with 4095 consecutive non-white space letters and no newline, curlwould first read past the end of the stack-based buffer, and if the readworks, write a zero byte beyond its boundary.This will in most cases cause a segfault or similar, but circumstances might also cause different outcomes.If a malicious user can provide a custom netrc file to an application or otherwise affect its contents, this flaw could be used as denial-of-service. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Poppler 0.42.0 through 26.10.0 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in Decrypt::revision6Hash() that allows attackers controlling the password to overwrite stack memory when opening AESV3/R6 encrypted PDFs. Attackers can supply a password longer than 127 bytes through applications using the libpoppler, libpoppler-glib or C++ API to overflow the K1 and E buffers, crashing the process or corrupting memory. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured BGP/EVPN peer to cause root code execution on Junos OS or an rpd crash on Junos OS Evolved via protocol-valid route advertisements for an EVPN-VPWS service. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated adjacent LDP peer to cause an rpd crash or execute arbitrary code via a malformed LDP Label Mapping message. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the BGP routing daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured BGP flowspec peer to cause routing-engine compromise or a routing-daemon denial of service via flowspec route re-advertisement when BGP update-threading is enabled. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the iked IKE key-management daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS on the SRX Series allows an authenticated remote-access VPN client to execute code with root privileges or cause denial of service via the remote-access VPN authentication and JIMS identity-publishing path. |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the phone-home daemon (phcd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code as root via a crafted DHCP SZTP bootstrap message.
This issue only affects platforms that support Secure-ZTP. |
