CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: Only allow act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks
As Paolo said earlier [1]:
"Since the blamed commit below, classify can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while
the current skb being held by the defragmentation engine. As reported by
GangMin Kim, if such packet is that may cause a UaF when the defrag engine
later on tries to tuch again such packet."
act_ct was never meant to be used in the egress path, however some users
are attaching it to egress today [2]. Attempting to reach a middle
ground, we noticed that, while most qdiscs are not handling
TC_ACT_CONSUMED, clsact/ingress qdiscs are. With that in mind, we
address the issue by only allowing act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress
qdiscs and shared blocks. That way it's still possible to attach act_ct to
egress (albeit only with clsact).

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/siw: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference in header processing
If siw_get_hdr() returns -EINVAL before set_rx_fpdu_context(),
qp->rx_fpdu can be NULL. The error path in siw_tcp_rx_data()
dereferences qp->rx_fpdu->more_ddp_segs without checking, which
may lead to a NULL pointer deref. Only check more_ddp_segs when
rx_fpdu is present.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
espintcp: Fix race condition in espintcp_close()
This issue was discovered during a code audit.
After cancel_work_sync() is called from espintcp_close(),
espintcp_tx_work() can still be scheduled from paths such as
the Delayed ACK handler or ksoftirqd.
As a result, the espintcp_tx_work() worker may dereference a
freed espintcp ctx or sk.
The following is a simple race scenario:
cpu0 cpu1
espintcp_close()
cancel_work_sync(&ctx->work);
espintcp_write_space()
schedule_work(&ctx->work);
To prevent this race condition, cancel_work_sync() is
replaced with disable_work_sync(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: split cached_fid bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races
is_open, has_lease and on_list are stored in the same bitfield byte in
struct cached_fid but are updated in different code paths that may run
concurrently. Bitfield assignments generate byte read–modify–write
operations (e.g. `orb $mask, addr` on x86_64), so updating one flag can
restore stale values of the others.
A possible interleaving is:
CPU1: load old byte (has_lease=1, on_list=1)
CPU2: clear both flags (store 0)
CPU1: RMW store (old | IS_OPEN) -> reintroduces cleared bits
To avoid this class of races, convert these flags to separate bool
fields. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mld: cancel mlo_scan_start_wk
mlo_scan_start_wk is not canceled on disconnection. In fact, it is not
canceled anywhere except in the restart cleanup, where we don't really
have to.
This can cause an init-after-queue issue: if, for example, the work was
queued and then drv_change_interface got executed.
This can also cause use-after-free: if the work is executed after the
vif is freed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dpaa2-switch: add bounds check for if_id in IRQ handler
The IRQ handler extracts if_id from the upper 16 bits of the hardware
status register and uses it to index into ethsw->ports[] without
validation. Since if_id can be any 16-bit value (0-65535) but the ports
array is only allocated with sw_attr.num_ifs elements, this can lead to
an out-of-bounds read potentially.
Add a bounds check before accessing the array, consistent with the
existing validation in dpaa2_switch_rx(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: octeon_ep_vf: fix free_irq dev_id mismatch in IRQ rollback
octep_vf_request_irqs() requests MSI-X queue IRQs with dev_id set to
ioq_vector. If request_irq() fails part-way, the rollback loop calls
free_irq() with dev_id set to 'oct', which does not match the original
dev_id and may leave the irqaction registered.
This can keep IRQ handlers alive while ioq_vector is later freed during
unwind/teardown, leading to a use-after-free or crash when an interrupt
fires.
Fix the error path to free IRQs with the same ioq_vector dev_id used
during request_irq(). |
| The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the malicious comment to be approved and an administrator to subsequently open the Visual Inspector and click the attacker's anchor link, both of which are plausible interactions during routine comment triage. |
| The CP Multi View Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'CalendarTitle' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.42 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires that an administrator has enabled the "Allow edition in frontend?" option on at least one calendar view, which exposes the unauthenticated add endpoint and a publicly accessible nonce. |
| The Klarna for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.13.3 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access any order's secret order_key and full billing and shipping PII — including first name, last name, email address, phone number, street address, postcode, city, region, and country — emitted inline as the klarna_payments_params JavaScript variable, enabling full store-wide order enumeration. Because WooCommerce order IDs are sequential integers and no order_key or authenticated session is required, every order in the store can be trivially enumerated with sequential GET requests to the order-pay endpoint. |
| The Mang Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because the wp_ajax_nopriv_mb_template endpoint is publicly accessible without authentication, nonce verification is not enforced for the content_reply mode, and admin-ajax.php responds with Content-Type: text/html, causing browsers to execute injected tags embedded in the JSON response body. |
| The Flying Scripts: Delay JavaScript to Improve Site Speed & Performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit bypasses WordPress core's save-time kses sanitization entirely because the payload uses only kses-allowed elements — an <abbr title> attribute and <code> text content — and the XSS is introduced post-save when the plugin's output-buffer rewriter substitutes a double-quote-bearing <code> body into the <abbr title> attribute via predictable, unsalted ___noise___ placeholder keys. |
| Incorrect Privilege Assignment vulnerability in WP ManageNinja LLC Fluent CRM fluent-crm allows Privilege Escalation.This issue affects Fluent CRM: from n/a through 3.2.5. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Link Whisper INC Link Whisper Free link-whisper allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects Link Whisper Free: from n/a through 0.9.7. |
| The NotificationX – FOMO, Live Sales Notification, WooCommerce Sales Popup, GDPR, Social Proof, Announcement Banner & Floating Notification Bar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires that an administrator has previously enabled a WordPress.org Reviews campaign and placed the notificationx-pro/notificationx dynamic block on a public page, both of which are documented, supported plugin workflows. |
| The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 via the `role` parameter handled by the `wppb_add_meta_to_user_on_activation()` function. The vulnerability exists because the activation handler passes the attacker-supplied role value directly to `WP_User::set_role()` with no allow-list validation, and the 4.0.3 reserved-name check exempts pre-existing form fields from the block, allowing a legacy field with meta-name `role` to persist and bridge attacker-controlled request input into the serialized signup record stored in `wp_signups`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain a fully activated WordPress administrator account by submitting `role=administrator` through the public `[wppb-register]` shortcode form and subsequently clicking the confirmation activation link. Exploitation requires the site to have a legacy form field with meta-name `role` carried over from before the 4.0.3 upgrade, email confirmation enabled, and open user registration — all stable site-state conditions once established. |
| The Salon Booking System – Appointment Booking for Salons, Barbershops & Spas plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'sln[<checkout-field-key>]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 10.31.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that the site administrator has configured at least one custom checkout field of type Html or File, which is a standard documented plugin feature. |
| The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'media:thumbnail@url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.11 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to control an external RSS feed that the target site has already configured for import; no WordPress account or special plugin configuration is needed beyond that condition. |
| The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url (comment_author_url)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because WordPress core's esc_url() preserves HTML entity-encoded characters, allowing a crafted entity-encoded payload in the comment 'Website' field to survive storage and be DOM-decoded by the browser into executable markup at the sink. |
| The Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.390 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload survives storage because the widened comment allow-list permits SVG elements with arbitrary data-* attributes; execution occurs because colibri.js, enqueued globally on every front-end page, reads the stored data-target value via jQuery.data() — which HTML-entity-decodes it — and passes the resulting string directly into jQuery(), which parses a leading '<' as HTML and fires the embedded event handler. |
