CVSS v3.1 |
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.0.9, ReadWriteLock and AsyncReadWriteLock versions from 3.20.4 resolve the lock path and pass it to SQLite without rejecting a final symbolic link, allowing another local user who can create names in the lock directory to redirect database creation and locking or split mutual exclusion between targets. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.9.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's XBM header parser is vulnerable to regular-expression denial of service. In XbmImageFile._open, when an application calls Image.open() on a small crafted XBM file, XbmImagePlugin applies a backtracking expression to the attacker-controlled header before image dimensions are accepted, stalling a worker for minutes and denying service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can exhaust resources while parsing an existing PDF during an append operation. PdfParser follows page-tree child references without cycle or duplication tracking and follows previous-trailer chains with only an exact repeated-offset guard, so deep or cyclic page trees and long chains of unique trailer offsets can exhaust the Python stack. Repeated non-cyclic /Kids references can also cause super-linear CPU and memory use. An attacker can supply such a PDF to an application that calls Image.save with PDF append enabled. This can raise an uncaught RecursionError or consume excessive CPU and memory before output is written, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in e4jvikwp VikRentCar vikrentcar allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects VikRentCar: from n/a through 1.4.8.
Missing Authorization vulnerability in Magepeople inc. Bus Ticket Booking with Seat Reservation bus-ticket-booking-with-seat-reservation allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Bus Ticket Booking with Seat Reservation: from n/a through 5.9.7.
OpenCATS before 0.10.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows READ-level users to create, rename, delete, and populate saved lists via AJAX endpoints. Authenticated attackers can send requests to newList.php, editListName.php, deleteList.php, or addToLists.php with any savedListID to alter or delete any saved list site-wide.
Grav 1.7.53 before 1.7.53.5 and 2.0.0-rc.8 before 2.2.2 contains a resource exhaustion vulnerability that allows anonymous visitors to bypass the system.images.max_pixels limit when system.images.url_actions is enabled. Attackers can send single-dimension or percentage forceResize, zoomCrop, or chained image actions to make GD allocate multi-gigabyte canvases, exhausting server memory and taking the site down.
Craft CMS 4.x before 4.18.8 and 5.x before 5.11.0 contains a blocklist bypass in the Twig create() function because its class-name checks are case-sensitive while PHP class resolution is not. Attackers with template-execution rights, such as Control Panel administrators, can instantiate SplFileObject via a lowercase class name to read .env secrets or write a PHP file into the webroot for remote code execution.
Craft CMS from 5.0.0 before 5.11.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows authenticated Control Panel users to escape the Twig sandbox via Asset::getMimeType transforms. Attackers can supply 'as' or 'on' keys passed unfiltered to Craft::createObject, attaching malicious behaviors or event handlers that execute code as the web user.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can enter an infinite loop while rewriting PDF pages. PdfParser.rewrite_pages() follows Parent relationships without detecting a cycle in the page tree. An attacker can supply a cyclic PDF to an application that appends an image to that PDF. This can hold the worker at full CPU and deny service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.4.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow performs quadratic copying while parsing GIF comments. GifImageFile._seek() repeatedly appends immutable bytes for comment sub-blocks and multiple comment extensions, and frame zero is parsed during Image.open(). An attacker can submit a small-dimension GIF containing many comment extensions to any application that opens the file. This can consume excessive CPU and deny service before the application can inspect the image. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.3.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow has a heap use-after-free when libtiff rejects a tag while encoding TIFF data to an in-memory buffer. When an application saves attacker-influenced TIFF tags to BytesIO, libtiff can reject a tag during encoding in ImagingLibTiffEncode; the error path then frees the output buffer without closing or clearing the TIFF handle, and later cleanup flushes through the write callback into freed memory, which can crash the process and may enable code execution. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's PdfParser.get_value() can recurse without a limit while reading nested PDF objects. The parser follows attacker-controlled arrays and dictionaries when an existing PDF is opened for append. An attacker can provide a deeply nested PDF to an application that saves an image with PDF append enabled. This can raise an uncaught RecursionError or terminate the worker, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
A weakness has been identified in H3C Magic NX15 V100R017. This affects the function importprofile of the file /api/upload. This manipulation of the argument fileName causes path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Netis EAP930 1.250905.115454. This issue affects the function return200 of the file /cgi-bin/debug of the component CGI Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument SIGNATURE leads to backdoor. The attack may be initiated remotely. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was identified in DiffSK configobj up to 5.0.9. Affected by this vulnerability is the function _sectionmarker of the file configobj/__init__.py. The manipulation leads to inefficient regular expression complexity. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A flaw was found in GIMP. Opening a crafted XCF that selects a path and then fails to load that path can cause a use-after-free in the main process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution.
A vulnerability has been found in Wuxi Wubang Security Software Wubang Five-in-One Safety Production Management Information System up to 3.5. Affected is the function xp_cmdshell of the file /ws.asmx. The manipulation of the argument sql leads to sql injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A weakness has been identified in Wuxi Wubang Security Software Five-in-One Safety Production Management Information System up to 3.5. This affects an unknown function of the file /FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/aspx/upload.aspx of the component Upload Endpoint. Executing a manipulation of the argument NewFile can lead to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
The download link for files uploaded through a form relied on a token that could be predicted. The file name in the request was also not verified in a way that resisted guessing. An unauthenticated attacker could use this to access files uploaded by other visitors. In addition, the token was shown in plain text in the text version of the notification email.
