CVE-2026-72143 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: ISST: Restore SST-PP control to all domains The SST-PP control offset is only restored to power domain 0 after resume. During suspend, control values are read and stored for all power domains. Use pd_info->sst_base instead of power_domain_info->sst_base, which only points to power domain 0 base address.
CVE-2026-72126 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: isotp: use unconditional synchronize_rcu() in isotp_release() isotp_notify() unregisters the (RCU) CAN filters via can_rx_unregister() and clears so->bound without waiting for a grace period. isotp_release() uses so->bound to decide whether it needs to call synchronize_rcu() before cancelling so->rxtimer, so when NETDEV_UNREGISTER runs first it skips that synchronize_rcu() and can cancel the timer while an in-flight isotp_rcv() is still executing and about to re-arm it via isotp_send_fc(), leading to a use-after-free timer callback on the freed socket. sakisho-bot remarked a problem with rtnl_lock held in isotp_notify(), therefore make isotp_release() always call synchronize_rcu() before cancelling the timers, regardless of so->bound. This still closes the original race (isotp_notify() clearing so->bound without waiting for in-flight isotp_rcv() callers before isotp_release() cancels the RX timer) without adding any RCU wait to the netdevice notifier path.
CVE-2026-72125 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: isotp: fix use-after-free race with concurrent NETDEV_UNREGISTER isotp_release() looked up the bound network device via dev_get_by_index() using the stored ifindex. During device unregistration the device is unlisted from the ifindex hash before the NETDEV_UNREGISTER notifier chain runs, so a concurrent isotp_release() could find no device, skip can_rx_unregister() entirely, and still proceed to free the socket. Since isotp_release() had already removed itself from the isotp notifier list at that point, isotp_notify() would never get a chance to clean up either, leaving a stale CAN filter that keeps pointing at the freed socket. Fix this the same way raw.c already does: hold a tracked reference to the bound net_device in the socket (so->dev/so->dev_tracker) from bind() onward instead of re-resolving it from the ifindex, and serialize bind()/release() with rtnl_lock() so that so->dev is always consistent with what the NETDEV_UNREGISTER notifier sees. so->dev stays valid regardless of ifindex-hash unlisting, and is only ever cleared by whichever of isotp_release()/isotp_notify() gets there first, so the filter is always removed exactly once. isotp_bind() now rejects a (re)bind with -EAGAIN while so->[tx|rx].state isn't ISOTP_IDLE yet, so a timer left running by a prior NETDEV_UNREGISTER can't act on a newly bound so->ifindex. Both checks share the same lock_sock() section, so there is no window in which a concurrent isotp_notify() clearing so->bound could be missed.
CVE-2026-72120 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: add missing rcu list annotations and operations sashiko-bot remarked the missing use of list_add_rcu() in bcm_[rx|tx]_setup() to have a proper initialized bcm_op structure when bcm_proc_show() traverses the bcm_op's under rcu_read_lock(). To cover all initial settings of the bcm_op's the list_add_rcu() calls are moved to the end of the setup code. While at it, also fix the mirroring removal side: bcm_release() called bcm_remove_op() - which frees the op via call_rcu() - on ops that were still linked in bo->tx_ops/bo->rx_ops, without list_del_rcu() first. Unlink each op with list_del_rcu() before handing it to bcm_remove_op(), matching the existing pattern in bcm_delete_tx_op()/bcm_delete_rx_op().
CVE-2026-72110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, fork: wipe ->bpf_storage before bailouts that access it Currently, copy_process() can bail out to free_task() before p->bpf_storage has been initialized, with this call graph (shown here for the !CONFIG_MEMCG case): copy_process dup_task_struct arch_dup_task_struct [copies the entire task_struct, including ->bpf_storage member] [RLIMIT_NPROC check fails] delayed_free_task free_task bpf_task_storage_free rcu_dereference(task->bpf_storage) bpf_local_storage_destroy In this case, the nascent task's ->bpf_storage member that bpf_local_storage_destroy() operates on is a plain copy of the parent's ->bpf_storage pointer, not a real initialized pointer. This leads to badness (kernel hangs, UAF). This is reachable as long as the process calling fork() has been inserted into a task storage map.
CVE-2026-43503 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: propagate shared-frag marker through frag-transfer helpers Two frag-transfer helpers (__pskb_copy_fclone() and skb_shift()) fail to propagate the SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG bit in skb_shinfo()->flags when moving frags from source to destination. __pskb_copy_fclone() defers the rest of the shinfo metadata to skb_copy_header() after copying frag descriptors, but that helper only carries over gso_{size,segs, type} and never touches skb_shinfo()->flags; skb_shift() moves frag descriptors directly and leaves flags untouched. As a result, the destination skb keeps a reference to the same externally-owned or page-cache-backed pages while reporting skb_has_shared_frag() as false. The mismatch is harmful in any in-place writer that uses skb_has_shared_frag() to decide whether shared pages must be detoured through skb_cow_data(). ESP input is one such writer (esp4.c, esp6.c), and a single nft 'dup to <local>' rule -- or any other nf_dup_ipv4() / xt_TEE caller -- is enough to land a pskb_copy()'d skb in esp_input() with the marker stripped, letting an unprivileged user write into the page cache of a root-owned read-only file via authencesn-ESN stray writes. Set SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG on the destination whenever frag descriptors were actually moved from the source. skb_copy() and skb_copy_expand() share skb_copy_header() too but linearize all paged data into freshly allocated head storage and emerge with nr_frags == 0, so skb_has_shared_frag() returns false on its own; they need no change. The same omission exists in skb_gro_receive() and skb_gro_receive_list(). The former moves the incoming skb's frag descriptors into the accumulator's last sub-skb via two paths (a direct frag-move loop and the head_frag + memcpy path); the latter chains the incoming skb whole onto p's frag_list. Downstream skb_segment() reads only skb_shinfo(p)->flags, and skb_segment_list() reuses each sub-skb's shinfo as the nskb -- both p and lp must carry the marker. The same omission also exists in tcp_clone_payload(), which builds an MTU probe skb by moving frag descriptors from skbs on sk_write_queue into a freshly allocated nskb. The helper falls into the same family and warrants the same fix for consistency; no TCP TX-side in-place writer is currently known to reach a user page through this gap, but a future consumer depending on the marker would regress silently. The same omission exists in skb_segment(): the per-iteration flag merge takes only head_skb's flag, and the inner switch that rebinds frag_skb to list_skb on head_skb-frags exhaustion does not fold the new frag_skb's flag into nskb. Fold frag_skb's flag at both sites so segments drawing frags from frag_list members carry the marker.

CVE-2026-45562 2 Freepbx, Sangoma 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx 2026-10-16 7.2 High
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6, the FreePBX Music on Hold (MoH) module contains a critical security flaw that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the Asterisk service. Authentication with an existing FreePBX administrator account is required. The root cause lies in the fact that the module accepts a POST parameter that defines a custom Asterisk application, which is then stored in the database without any sanitization. Later, this data is written directly to the musiconhold_additional.conf configuration file without validation. Since Asterisk reads this configuration file and executes the specified application, an attacker can inject arbitrary commands that will be executed with Asterisk's permissions. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6.
CVE-2026-54674 2 Freepbx, Sangoma 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx 2026-10-16 8.8 High
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7, users authenticated via User Control Panel (UCP) are able to execute arbitrary commands on the PBX as the webserver user (typically asterisk) using specially crafted HTTP strings. Authenticated access to UCP is required. Note that this is often more common for less-privileged users to have UCP access vs. the Administrator Control Panel (ACP) access (which is usually FreePBX higher-level administrator accounts only). Insufficient sanitization of certain URL parameters utilized by UCP did not fully account for malicious strings in these fields. This could result in binaries being executed on the host server by carefully chaining commands. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7.
CVE-2026-54675 2 Freepbx, Sangoma 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx 2026-10-16 8.8 High
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5, a critical vulnerability exists in the sound language upload and conversion functionality that allows an authenticated attacker to perform arbitrary file writes, leading directly to remote code execution (RCE). Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability stems from insufficient path sanitization in the file conversion process, enabling path traversal attacks that place malicious PHP files in the web server's root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5.
CVE-2026-54708 2 Freepbx, Sangoma 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx 2026-10-16 8.8 High
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7, a critical vulnerability exists in the FreePBX backup Module that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. Authentication with a known username that has sufficient access permissions and/or write access to backup files is required. This vulnerability is caused by improper path sanitization in the backup restore functionality, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files to the web root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7.
CVE-2026-96612 1 Hexpm 1 Hex 2026-10-16 8.8 High
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in hexpm hex allows a malicious package publisher to delete a directory outside the project's deps directory and extract package files into it when a developer fetches dependencies. A package release's requirements carry an app label that names the dependency's OTP application. Hex takes this label from the repository's signed registry and uses it as the dependency's application name without validating it (Hex.RemoteConverger.deps/2, Hex.Mix.to_lock/1). Mix derives the dependency's checkout directory as deps/<app>, and Hex.SCM.update/1 runs File.rm_rf!/1 on that directory and unpacks the package into it. hex.pm only checks the label's length, so a publisher can set it to a value such as ../../target. When a project depends on such a release directly or transitively, mix deps.get or mix deps.update deletes the directory the label resolves to and writes the labelled package's files there. This happens before any dependency code is compiled. This issue affects hex: from 0.6.0 before 2.5.2.
CVE-2026-92876 1 Ibm 1 Maximo Application Suite Iot Component 2026-10-16 7.5 High
IBM Maximo Application Suite - IoT Component 9.2.0, 9.1.0, and 9.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled recursion.
CVE-2026-85957 1 Progress Software Corporation 1 Marklogic Server 2026-10-16 7.5 High

CVE-2026-85949 1 Progress Software Corporation 1 Marklogic Server 2026-10-16 8.1 High
Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 may record security-sensitive information in diagnostic logs under certain configurations. An attacker with access to the affected logs could use this information to obtain unauthorized access to protected resources.
CVE-2026-84823 1 Redhat 5 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Fuse and 2 more 2026-10-16 7.1 High
A flaw was found in WildFly. A user with the `Monitor` role, which is the lowest standard Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) role, can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the `take-snapshot` operation. By manipulating the `name` parameter, this user can write a copy of the server configuration to an arbitrary location. This allows the `Monitor` role to read back the server configuration, including sensitive credentials, which would otherwise be restricted by RBAC, leading to information disclosure.
CVE-2026-59241 2026-10-16 8.8 High
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC V8.0 (All versions < V8.0 Update 11), SIMATIC WinCC V8.1 (All versions < V8.1 Update 7). The affected application does not sufficiently restrict the permissions assigned to a database role. This could allow an authenticated remote attacker with database access to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary commands on the host system where SIMATIC WinCC is installed, potentially leading to a compromise of the system.
CVE-2026-111382 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-10-16 8.8 High
FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a client-side heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in general_LumaToYUV444 and general_ChromaV2ToYUV444 that allows malicious RDP servers to corrupt client memory. Attackers can send RDPGFX AVC444 or AVC444v2 frames with odd-height region rects ending at surface height to write past U/V planes, enabling heap corruption and potential code execution.
