CVSS v3.1 |
| Moonlight Qt is a GameStream client for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Steam Link. In version 6.1.0 and earlier, after a victim initiates a streaming session to a malicious host, the host can send a crafted H.264 SPS NAL when Moonlight selects a decoder path that does not advertise CAPABILITY_REFERENCE_FRAME_INVALIDATION_AVC. The SPS fixup path in app/streaming/video/ffmpeg.cpp parses the server-provided data with h264bitstream, where attacker-controlled seq_parameter_set_id is used to index the 32-entry sps_table without validation. A value of 32 or greater causes an out-of-bounds write and remote heap corruption in the Moonlight client. The demonstrated impact is a reliable client crash, while code execution is not established. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0. |
| AMI APTIOV contains vulnerabilities in BIOS where users may cause "Out-of-bounds Write” by local access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to buffer overflows, memory corruption, and arbitrary code execution, and also impact Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. |
| ZDR decoding in libnfs through 6.0.2 before 7613236 has an out-of-bounds write related to lib/libnfs-zdr.c with libnfs_zdr_bytes(), libnfs_zdr_string(), and libnfs_zdr_array(). The caller-supplied maxsize value is not honored. |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon crashes when an AF_UNIX client connects to the data socket without a bound address, due to an integer underflow in the getpeername result handling. This causes a denial of service, preventing LUKS disk decryption from completing during boot. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.0.0 to 2.11.0, checkRow sizes its target cell slice from the last cell in XML document order and then re-scatters every cell by its explicit column reference. GetCellValue reaches workSheetReader and checkRow, where targetList is too short for an earlier out-of-order cell. When a crafted row places a higher-column cell before a lower-column final cell and a non-streaming worksheet API reads the sheet, the earlier cell's column index exceeds the slice length derived from the final cell, allowing an attacker to cause an unrecovered panic and terminate the process. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| FreeRDP 3.18.0 before 3.32.0 has a heap-based out-of-bounds write in freerdp_interruptible_get_line, which shrinks the buffer to 32 bytes while keeping a pre-filled suggested username's length as its write offset. A malicious or compromised ARM routing service can return a long redirectedUsername that reaches the CLI credential prompt, crashing the client when the user types input. |
| A flaw was found in grub2. During the network boot process, when trying to search for the configuration file, grub copies data from a user controlled environment variable into an internal buffer using the grub_strcpy() function. During this step, it fails to consider the environment variable length when allocating the internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. If correctly exploited, this issue may result in remote code execution through the same network segment grub is searching for the boot information, which can be used to by-pass secure boot protections. |
| Out-of-bounds write in libsmkvextractor.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| Out-of-bounds write in libsamsungtts.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input. |
| Out-of-bounds write in libcodec2-sec-flacdec.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to write out-of-bounds memory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: percpu: Fix LSE operations on {8,16}-bit types
The assembly for __percpu_##name##_case_##sz() and
__percpu_##name##_return_case_##sz() doesn't use the 'sfx' macro
argument to form the LSE instruction. Without 'sfx', a W register
argument will imply a 32-bit memory location, and consequently
{8,16}-bit ops will erroneously read and write 32 bits of memory when
the LSE instruction is used.
Fix this by appending 'sfx' to 'op_lse' to LSE instruction. It is not
necessary (and not valid) to append 'sfx' to 'op_llsc', as 'op_llsc' is
a register-register operation which does not access memory (and does not
take a size suffix). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dmaengine: pxa: fix double counting of the hw descriptors
pxad_alloc_desc() was converted from
kzalloc(struct_size(sw_desc, hw_desc, nb_hw_desc), GFP_NOWAIT)
to kzalloc_flex(), which sets the __counted_by() counter sw_desc->nb_desc
itself - but only where the compiler has __builtin_counted_by_ref(), so
from gcc 15.1 or clang 22.1 on. The loop below it still increments
nb_desc, which makes it come out doubled there and correct elsewhere.
nb_desc is what pxad_free_desc() iterates over and what
set_updater_desc() indexes from, so set it explicitly and drop the
increment. The error path has to lower it to the number of descriptors
allocated so far, otherwise pxad_free_desc() would free entries that were
never allocated. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Clamp implicit feedback packet count to URB capacity
data_ep_set_params() allocates each data URB for exactly u->packets
isochronous frames, so urb->iso_frame_desc[] has u->packets slots and
ctx->packets is the driver's only record of that limit. For an implicit
feedback sink, snd_usb_queue_pending_output_urbs() overwrites it with the
sync source's packet count, which is calculated independently from the
capture endpoint's parameters. When that count is larger,
prepare_playback_urb() and prepare_silent_urb() can write
iso_frame_desc[] past the allocation; their existing bounds limit payload
bytes, not the descriptor index.
The reproducer uses a high-speed UAC2 device declaring bInterval 1 for
implicit feedback capture (8 packets) and bInterval 4 for playback
(1 packet). On the first capture completion after the stream starts, it
accesses seven descriptors spanning 112 bytes beyond the one-packet URB:

Record the allocated packet count per endpoint and clamp both the adopted
count and the packet-size copy to it. Fold the Format Type II delimiter
into urb_packs before the allocation loop so the recorded limit matches
every URB. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
swiotlb: use the adjusted address for the highmem page lookup
swiotlb_bounce() reads the page frame number from the slot's recorded
orig_addr, then advances orig_addr by tlb_offset to reach the address
the caller asked about. The highmem branch mixes the two: the offset
within the page comes from the adjusted address, the page from the value
before it.
Once the adjustment crosses a page boundary the pair no longer describes
one location, and the whole copy lands one page below the intended one
for a positive tlb_offset, one above for a negative one. DMA_FROM_DEVICE
writes the device data over the wrong page and leaves the intended one
stale, DMA_TO_DEVICE feeds the device from a page the mapping may not
cover. Partial syncs through dma_sync_single_range_for_*() are what make
tlb_offset non-zero.
The branch test is picked the same way, so a slot recorded in lowmem can
be adjusted into highmem and the lowmem path then hands a highmem
address to phys_to_virt().
Take both from orig_addr once it is final and keep pfn in the branch
that uses it. PhysHighMem() asks the question straight from the address,
as dma-debug already does. |
| IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow an attacker with administrative privileges and access to the local management interface to execute arbitrary code due to an unbounded write to a fixed-size stack buffer. |
| heap OOB write in convert_file_from_to() via a crafted Content-Type header allows attacker to OOB write when email is used as a template. |
| The LE Audio Broadcast Sink in subsys/bluetooth/audio/bap_broadcast_sink.c copies subgroup metadata from a received Basic Audio Announcement (BASE) into the static Broadcast Audio Scan Service parameter structure mod_src_param without any bounds check. In base_subgroup_meta_cb() the destination element was selected as mod_src_param.subgroups[mod_src_param.num_subgroups] with no test against ARRAY_SIZE(mod_src_param.subgroups) (sized by CONFIG_BT_BAP_BASS_MAX_SUBGROUPS, default 1), and the metadata was copied with memcpy() using the raw on-air length returned by bt_bap_base_get_subgroup_codec_meta() into a metadata array sized by CONFIG_BT_AUDIO_CODEC_CFG_MAX_METADATA_SIZE (default 4). The BASE validator bt_bap_base_get_base_from_ad() only checks structural consistency and permits up to ~24 subgroups and metadata LTVs of ~240 octets.
The defect is reached from the periodic advertising receive callback: pa_recv() → bt_data_parse() → pa_decode_base() → update_recv_state_base() → bt_bap_base_foreach_subgroup() → base_subgroup_meta_cb(). Every broadcast sink registers a scan-delegator receive state at creation (bt_bap_broadcast_sink_create() calls broadcast_sink_add_src()), and CONFIG_BT_BAP_BROADCAST_SINK depends on CONFIG_BT_BAP_SCAN_DELEGATOR, so the path is active in every broadcast-sink build once the device is periodic-advertising-synced. An attacker in radio range who operates a broadcast source the device syncs to — or who impersonates the advertiser address and SID of one already in use, periodic advertising data being unauthenticated — can change the BASE at will; each new BASE is re-parsed.
A crafted BASE therefore writes attacker-chosen bytes past the end of a fixed static object in .bss: up to roughly 236 bytes for an oversized metadata LTV, plus whole struct bt_bap_bass_subgroup records for each subgroup beyond CONFIG_BT_BAP_BASS_MAX_SUBGROUPS. This is memory corruption of adjacent Bluetooth-audio state reachable with no pairing, bonding or GATT connection, with a potential for remote code execution in the Bluetooth RX thread; in addition, the unvalidated metadata_len is forwarded to bt_bap_scan_delegator_mod_src(), which neither clamps it nor rejects it, leading to a further copy into the receive state and to out-of-bounds memory being disclosed in the BASS receive-state notification sent to a connected Broadcast Assistant.
The fix rejects a BASE carrying more subgroups than the receive state can hold (discarding the update entirely) and omits metadata that does not fit rather than copying it, and additionally honours the previously-ignored error return of the subgroup decode pass. |
| In venc, there is a possible out of bounds write due to type confusion. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11383899; Issue ID: MSV-9606. |
| In meta, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege, if an attacker has physical access to the device, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11049530 / ALPS11480843; Issue ID: MSV-7935. |
