CVSS v3.1 |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Remote Access Service Infrastructure allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 4.2.1 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, the client process crashes when a TLS 1.2 server renegotiates after the connection is established and presents a different, CA-trusted certificate whose hostname does not match the requested host. Node.js re-runs hostname verification on the renegotiated handshake and destroys the socket with a certificate-altname error, but undici's established-socket error handler asserted that this error code could never occur, so the peer-controlled error became an uncaught assertion that terminates the Node.js process, affecting both the HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 paths. A malicious or compromised HTTPS endpoint reached through undici or the global fetch() can crash the client with a single server-initiated renegotiation, taking down all in-flight requests and background work in the process, and exploitation needs no CA compromise because the attacker controls the endpoint and can present two ordinary valid certificates. Only TLS 1.2 is affected, since TLS 1.3 does not support renegotiation. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, restrict outbound connections to TLS 1.3 so renegotiation cannot occur, when the target endpoints support it. |
| undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 7.15.0 through 7.30.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its decompress interceptor forwards decompressed response data to the downstream handler from zlib stream event callbacks without catching exceptions those callbacks may throw, and while undici's engine converts a synchronous throw from a downstream handler into a per-request failure, that protection is absent when the throw happens asynchronously from a zlib callback. As a result, a downstream handler that throws by design, such as the built-in dump interceptor which throws when a response exceeds its configured maximum size, escapes as an uncaught exception that terminates the Node.js process. A malicious or compromised HTTP server can crash any client that composes the decompress interceptor with such a handler by returning a small compressed body that decompresses to more than the configured limit, so only the decompressed size matters and the bytes on the wire stay tiny. The issue is fixed in undici 7.30.1 and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, avoid composing the decompress interceptor with a response handler that throws during response processing until upgrading. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/server: cancel async requests when closing connection
An async request may still be waiting when a connection is closed.
This can stop the connection from closing.
Cancel active async requests before waiting for them to finish. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mptcp: options: fix uninit-value in mptcp_write_data_fin
When sending a DATA_FIN without data, and because the DATA_FIN occupies
1 octet of the connection-level sequence space [1], it is then required
to add a DSS mapping with specific values.
If the checksum has been negotiated, it also needs to be computed, and
included in the outgoing packet, and thus the initial csum data needs to
be reset to 0 as well. This is no longer the case since commit
cfcceb7a39fc ("tcp: shrink per-packet memset in __tcp_transmit_skb()"),
because the whole ext_copy structure is no longer zeroed by default.
This seems to be the only case where use_map is changed and set
afterwards, so initialising the csum field only in this case, along with
other fields for this specific case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
EDAC/altera: Use parent device for devres in altr_portb_setup()
Anchor the devres group and the devm-managed IRQ requests in altr_portb_setup()
to the actual parent device (device->edac->dev) instead of the embedded struct
device inside the copied per-port altr_edac_device_dev.
This keeps devres_open_group(), devm_request_irq(), devres_remove_group() and
devres_release_group() all referring to the same long-lived device so the
group and the resources allocated inside it are torn down together. |
| A weakness has been identified in kishan0725 Hospital Management System up to 777fda46b77a820977a5ba616283dbfbc40bf7e1. This affects the function mysqli_query of the file admin-panel.php of the component Appointment Cancellation Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument ID can lead to sql injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| The Patreon WordPress plugin before 1.10.0 does not perform an authorization check on some of its functionality, allowing unauthenticated users to enumerate the names of terms in any taxonomy, including non-public taxonomies that WordPress does not expose on the front end. |
| Use after free in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Fax and Scan Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Storage Spaces Controller allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When persistent HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) caching is enabled, a remote HTTPS server can return an out-of-range expiration value that fails time serialization during cache saving. Because curl truncates the cache file prior to writing the update, this serialization failure causes the persistent HSTS cache to be deleted or emptied. As a result, stored security policies for known hosts are lost, potentially allowing future connections to fall back to insecure communication. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When curl is configured to perform carriage return and line feed (CRLF) conversion during an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) append operation, it incorrectly reports the raw input size rather than the expanded byte count. Because the receiving server only reads the advertised length as message data, it interprets the remaining overflow bytes as subsequent commands. An attacker capable of supplying message data with line breaks can exploit this issue to execute unauthorized IMAP commands within an authenticated session. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When libcurl is built with the libssh2 backend and uses a hashed known-hosts file, host key verification can mistakenly report a key mismatch as a missing key to custom verification callbacks. A remote attacker who intercepts or controls the Secure Shell (SSH) connection can exploit this flaw to make a previously pinned server appear as a new host. As a result, the application may inadvertently authenticate to an untrusted server, leading to credential exposure and the receipt of malicious data. |
| A flaw was found in curl. This vulnerability allows a malicious server to bypass public key pinning when curl is built with the wolfSSL backend. By presenting a specially crafted certificate with a manipulated validity length field, the attacker can trick curl into improperly re-parsing the certificate and authorizing an invalid key during the Transport Layer Security (TLS) handshake. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: PPC: Book3S HV: fix secure device page leak on uv_page_in() failure
In kvmppc_svm_page_in(), if uv_page_in() fails after
kvmppc_uvmem_get_page() has succeeded, the secure device page is never
released. kvmppc_uvmem_get_page() sets a bit in kvmppc_uvmem_bitmap,
allocates a kvmppc_uvmem_page_pvt struct, marks the GFN as
KVMPPC_GFN_UVMEM_PFN, and calls zone_device_page_init() which sets
refcount=1 and locks the page. The subsequent goto out_finalize skips
the *mig.dst assignment, so migrate_vma_finalize() is a no-op for the
page, and none of those resources are ever reclaimed.
Each occurrence permanently consumes one entry from the firmware-bounded
secure memory pool (kvmppc_uvmem_bitmap), leaks pvt, and leaves the GFN
marked as secure — making it unusable for the lifetime of the VM.
The twin __kvmppc_svm_page_out() already handles the analogous uv_page_out()
failure correctly with unlock_page(dpage); __free_page(dpage). Apply
the same pattern here: unlock_page() followed by put_page(), which
chains through free_zone_device_folio() into kvmppc_uvmem_folio_free()
to clear the bitmap bit, free pvt, and reset the GFN state.
Reachable whenever uv_page_in() returns an error (e.g. UV pool
exhaustion) on any POWER9/10 + Ultravisor/PEF system. |
| @fastify/jwt is a JWT utility plugin for Fastify. In versions prior to 10.2.5, the top-level sign and verify methods replace the globally configured defaults with the per-call options instead of merging them, so passing any per-call option silently drops every global default that the call does not restate, including temporal protections such as token expiration and maximum accepted token age. A token signed this way carries no expiration claim and never expires, and verification stops enforcing a configured maximum age, so stale or never-expiring tokens are accepted. The route-level decorators for signing and verifying already merge options and are not affected. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.5, and users should upgrade to 10.2.5 or later. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in dyad-sh dyad up to 1.16.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component OAuth Callback Handler. Performing a manipulation results in cross-site request forgery. The attack may be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 1.17.0-beta.1 can resolve this issue. The patch is named 39fbae87b38573616a1a3b152cdb292787bb1109. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. |
| The WP Data Access WordPress plugin before 5.5.88 does not have authorisation and CSRF checks in one of its actions, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to make the server open connections to arbitrary hosts and ports, including internal ones, and read back the outcome. |
