CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix bounds check for skb-backed dynptrs
The skb_pointer_if_linear() function checks whether a
memory region of length len starting at offset off into
the skb is in the linear area, and returns a pointer to
the region if so. The check currently subtracts between
skb_headlen and offset of the check, and since skb_headlen
is unsigned the subtraction can underflow. This causes the
bounds check to spuriously pass and generate an arbitrary
pointer of the form *(skb->data + off).
The only user of this helper is currently skb-backed BPF
dynptr code. Returning the wrong pointer leads to the
dynptr erroneously being backed with invalid memory.
Ensure the subtraction cannot underflow, and fail the check if
it would. Use u64 arithmetic to also prevent overflow when
calculating (skb_headlen(skb) - off) since off is unsigned. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: RFCOMM: Reject short EA=0 frames in rfcomm_recv_frame()
While rfcomm_recv_frame() verifies that skb->len is at least
sizeof(*hdr) + 1 (4 bytes: 3-byte header + 1-byte FCS), an RFCOMM frame
with an extended 2-byte length field (!__test_ea(hdr->len)) has a 4-byte
header plus a 1-byte FCS (5 bytes minimum, sizeof(*hdr) + 2).
When a 4-byte RFCOMM frame with EA == 0 arrives:
1. The initial skb->len < sizeof(*hdr) + 1 check passes (4 < 4 is false).
2. Trimming the FCS byte decrements skb->len to 3.
3. If __check_fcs() succeeds, skb_pull(skb, 4) fails (4 > 3) and returns
NULL without advancing skb->data.
4. Because the return value of skb_pull() is ignored, the un-pulled
3-byte struct rfcomm_hdr remains at skb->data and is either queued as
application payload via rfcomm_recv_data() or parsed as a multiplexer
control command via rfcomm_recv_mcc() on DLCI 0.
Fix this by extending the length check in rfcomm_recv_frame() to also
require skb->len >= sizeof(*hdr) + 2 when !__test_ea(hdr->len). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ovpn: replace bind when clearing stale local source
The UDP output fallback clears bind->local in place when the remembered
source address is no longer usable. The bind is RCU-published and read
locklessly by concurrent TX, so an IPv6 reader can observe a torn
address.
Retry the route lookup with source address autoselection without
modifying the bind. After a successful lookup, revalidate the bind and
route key under peer->lock, reset the dst cache, and best-effort publish
a replacement bind with a wildcard local address.
Do not cache the resolved dst when clearing the local source. Replacing
the source invalidates all per-CPU cache entries, while
dst_cache_set_ip4 and dst_cache_set_ip6 update only the current CPU
slot. The current packet can still use the resolved route; if bind
allocation fails, a later cache miss retries the repair. |

| A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, BasePushNotificationSender in server-common sends task data to the URL in TaskPushNotificationConfig without destination validation, scheme restrictions, or bounds on redirects. InMemoryPushNotificationConfigStore.setInfo stores the URL verbatim, and onCreateTaskPushNotificationConfig does not validate the destination. In the default deployment with push notifications enabled, an unauthenticated caller can register a destination through an inline SendMessage configuration or CreateTaskPushNotificationConfig for an existing task, causing task status and artifact updates to send requests from the server's network position to loopback, private, link-local cloud-metadata, IPv6 unique-local, unspecified, or multicast destinations where routing permits. JdkA2AHttpClient and VertxA2AHttpClient follow redirects, allowing a webhook redirect to bypass creation-time destination checks and convert a POST into a GET; hostname-only checks also do not prevent DNS rebinding. Direct POST delivery can push attacker-influenced task data into internal services, whereas a redirected POST-to-GET request drops the body. The sender discards the fetched response and does not expose delivery success or failure, so the demonstrated behavior does not provide response read-back. No credentials or user interaction are required. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final. |
| A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, RestHandler.parseRequestBody in `transport/rest/src/main/java/org/a2aproject/sdk/transport/rest/handler/RestHandler.java` logs the entire JSON request body at SEVERE level when JsonFormat.parser().merge() throws InvalidProtocolBufferException. With push notifications enabled, createTaskPushNotificationConfiguration reaches this parser for requests to `/v1/tenants/{tenant}/tasks/{taskId}/pushNotificationConfigs`, whose token and authentication.credentials fields can contain bearer tokens and authentication credentials for client push endpoints. A valid JSON body that fails protobuf deserialization, including an unknown field under strict parsing or a schema mismatch, causes those secrets to be written to the server logs in cleartext. An attacker with access to the server logs or a log aggregation system can retrieve the credentials and potentially use the credentials to send forged task status updates to the client's push notification endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final. |
| A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, a malicious or compromised remote agent can cause the default JDK-based client to forward a configured API key to a third-party server. When a client application configures credentials through `CredentialService`, `AuthInterceptor.intercept` in `client/transport/spi/src/main/java/org/a2aproject/sdk/client/transport/spi/interceptors/auth/AuthInterceptor.java` uses `APIKeySecurityScheme.name()` from the remote AgentCard directly as the HTTP header name containing the credential, without checking that the declared location is HEADER. JdkA2AHttpClient uses followRedirects(NORMAL), so an agent-controlled cross-origin redirect forwards the custom credential-bearing header even when the standard Authorization header is stripped. The attack requires configured API key credentials for the agent's security scheme and control of the agent's AgentCard and redirect response, but no additional client privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final. |
| Cachet is an open-source status page system. Versions 2.4.1 and earlier have a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the incident creation form, allowing an authenticated attacker to inject malicious HTML/JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who views the status page, potentially leading to session token theft and account takeover. Commits 57b44a8bac0b250b0d5751e93e0349070d14606e and 23adbb88ffa819f92be4a905ff1d812670d980a2 in `cachethq/core` patch the issue. |
| OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, copy_banner() in scheduler/ipp.c uses the attacker-controlled IPP attributes-natural-language value as a directory component beneath DataDir/banners when processing a job-sheets banner. The job-sheets value must first match a registered banner basename, and the traversed path must contain a matching reachable basename; selecting an arbitrary target as demonstrated additionally requires pre-positioned path state such as a symlink with that basename. Subject to the scheduler's filesystem and sandbox access, path separators in the language value can escape the intended banner directory, make the root scheduler open the reachable file, and copy its bytes into a job-sheet spool object that a configured backend can deliver to an attacker-observable endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20. |
| Antiword through 0.37 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in vGet8LstInfo in prop8.c caused by an inverted bounds check on the PlcfLst record count. Attackers can supply a crafted Word 8 .doc file claiming up to 0xffff LSTF records in a tiny buffer, causing reads past the heap allocation that crash the process. |

| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. From 21.14.8 until 21.14.10, the app-data seeder can leave an environment linked to temporary package files that virtualenv deletes when creation finishes. The environment-variable and configuration-file forms of symlink_app_data can enable this state even though the command-line flag is disabled for temporary app-data. The resulting environment depends on a cache pathname that its owner no longer controls. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.10. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: cw1200: fix TX padding OOB read leaking heap data to device
The TX path rounds the transfer size up to the bus alignment
(align_size(), up to 511 bytes for SDIO, 1 byte for SPI) but sends
the padded length straight from the frame buffer, which has no room
reserved for the padding. cw1200_data_write() therefore reads past
the end of the frame and the bus transfer carries those bytes to the
device. A bogus device can collect up to 511 bytes of kernel heap
data per TX frame.
The RX path does not have this problem: it allocates the skb with
the aligned length (alloc_len) before reading.
Compute the exact padding with the bus align_size() callback, make
sure queued TX frames have tailroom for it, and zero the padding
bytes before the transfer so nothing past the frame is exposed.
This is not expected to change driver behavior on most cases: frame
contents and transfer sizes are unchanged, only the content of the
padding bytes (previously undefined stale memory, now zero), which
the device never reads since the WSM header carries the real frame
length. The skb expansion can only fail under memory exhaustion,
in which case the frame is dropped like on the existing error paths
of cw1200_tx().
