| CVE-2026-45878 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix watch_id bounds checking in debug address watch v2 The address watch clear code receives watch_id as an unsigned value (u32), but some helper functions were using a signed int and checked bits by shifting with watch_id. If a very large watch_id is passed from userspace, it can be converted to a negative value. This can cause invalid shifts and may access memory outside the watch_points array. drm/amdkfd: Fix watch_id bounds checking in debug address watch v2 Fix this by checking that watch_id is within MAX_WATCH_ADDRESSES before using it. Also use BIT(watch_id) to test and clear bits safely. This keeps the behavior unchanged for valid watch IDs and avoids undefined behavior for invalid ones. Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_debug.c:448 kfd_dbg_trap_clear_dev_address_watch() error: buffer overflow 'pdd->watch_points' 4 <= u32max user_rl='0-3,2147483648-u32max' uncapped drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_debug.c 433 int kfd_dbg_trap_clear_dev_address_watch(struct kfd_process_device *pdd, 434 uint32_t watch_id) 435 { 436 int r; 437 438 if (!kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id(pdd, watch_id)) kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id() doesn't check for negative values so if watch_id is larger than INT_MAX it leads to a buffer overflow. (Negative shifts are undefined). 439 return -EINVAL; 440 441 if (!pdd->dev->kfd->shared_resources.enable_mes) { 442 r = debug_lock_and_unmap(pdd->dev->dqm); 443 if (r) 444 return r; 445 } 446 447 amdgpu_gfx_off_ctrl(pdd->dev->adev, false); --> 448 pdd->watch_points[watch_id] = pdd->dev->kfd2kgd->clear_address_watch( 449 pdd->dev->adev, 450 watch_id); v2: (as per, Jonathan Kim) - Add early watch_id >= MAX_WATCH_ADDRESSES validation in the set path to match the clear path. - Drop the redundant bounds check in kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-43405 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Use u32 for non-negative values in ceph_monmap_decode() This patch fixes unnecessary implicit conversions that change signedness of blob_len and num_mon in ceph_monmap_decode(). Currently blob_len and num_mon are (signed) int variables. They are used to hold values that are always non-negative and get assigned in ceph_decode_32_safe(), which is meant to assign u32 values. Both variables are subsequently used as unsigned values, and the value of num_mon is further assigned to monmap->num_mon, which is of type u32. Therefore, both variables should be of type u32. This is especially relevant for num_mon. If the value read from the incoming message is very large, it is interpreted as a negative value, and the check for num_mon > CEPH_MAX_MON does not catch it. This leads to the attempt to allocate a very large chunk of memory for monmap, which will most likely fail. In this case, an unnecessary attempt to allocate memory is performed, and -ENOMEM is returned instead of -EINVAL. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31774 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: fix slab-out-of-bounds read in io_bundle_nbufs() sqe->len is __u32 but gets stored into sr->len which is int. When userspace passes sqe->len values exceeding INT_MAX (e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF), sr->len overflows to a negative value. This negative value propagates through the bundle recv/send path: 1. io_recv(): sel.val = sr->len (ssize_t gets -1) 2. io_recv_buf_select(): arg.max_len = sel->val (size_t gets 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) 3. io_ring_buffers_peek(): buf->len is not clamped because max_len is astronomically large 4. iov[].iov_len = 0xFFFFFFFF flows into io_bundle_nbufs() 5. io_bundle_nbufs(): min_t(int, 0xFFFFFFFF, ret) yields -1, causing ret to increase instead of decrease, creating an infinite loop that reads past the allocated iov[] array This results in a slab-out-of-bounds read in io_bundle_nbufs() from the kmalloc-64 slab, as nbufs increments past the allocated iovec entries. BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in io_bundle_nbufs+0x128/0x160 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888100ae05c8 by task exp/145 Call Trace: io_bundle_nbufs+0x128/0x160 io_recv_finish+0x117/0xe20 io_recv+0x2db/0x1160 Fix this by rejecting negative sr->len values early in both io_sendmsg_prep() and io_recvmsg_prep(). Since sqe->len is __u32, any value > INT_MAX indicates overflow and is not a valid length. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23457 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 8.6 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix Content-Length u32 truncation in sip_help_tcp() sip_help_tcp() parses the SIP Content-Length header with simple_strtoul(), which returns unsigned long, but stores the result in unsigned int clen. On 64-bit systems, values exceeding UINT_MAX are silently truncated before computing the SIP message boundary. For example, Content-Length 4294967328 (2^32 + 32) is truncated to 32, causing the parser to miscalculate where the current message ends. The loop then treats trailing data in the TCP segment as a second SIP message and processes it through the SDP parser. Fix this by changing clen to unsigned long to match the return type of simple_strtoul(), and reject Content-Length values that exceed the remaining TCP payload length. | ||||

| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java SE and Java SE Embedded components in Oracle Java SE 6u105, 7u91, and 8u66 and Java SE Embedded 8u65 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to 2D. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98049 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: zero extend the result of an arena 32-bit cmpxchg bpf_convert_ctx_accesses() rewrites an atomic on an arena pointer from BPF_STX | BPF_ATOMIC to BPF_STX | BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC, and it runs before bpf_opt_subreg_zext_lo32_rnd_hi32(). That pass emits an explicit zero extension for a 32-bit cmpxchg even when bpf_jit_needs_zext() is false. This is done because on some architectures 32-bit cmpxchg requires explicit zero extension for the dst register. E.g. on x86-64 'lock cmpxchg' does not change the %eax if comparison is successful, while BPF semantics declare that each operation on a 32-bit register zero extends it's upper half. is_cmpxchg_insn() matches BPF_MODE == BPF_ATOMIC only, so an arena cmpxchg misses said zero extension adjustment. This patch adjusts is_cmpxchg_insn() to match BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC alongside BPF_ATOMIC. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90359 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject >8 byte return values on return-reading trampoline paths btf_distill_func_proto() builds the function model used for the fentry/fexit/fmod_ret/fsession trampolines and struct_ops. It has accepted a 16-byte __int128 return value since the trampoline was introduced: __get_type_size() returns the integer's type size, and the return-type check only rejected ret < 0. But the BPF trampoline preserves only 8 bytes of the return value (RAX on x86, i.e. R0). For an attach type that reads the target's return value the second half (RDX / R3) is neither saved nor restored, so a program attached to a function returning a 16-byte value corrupts the value seen by the real caller and itself observes only half of it. struct_ops trampolines have the same limitation. This affects the attach types that read the target's return value: fexit, fmod_ret and fsession (plus the _multi variants of fexit and fsession), and struct_ops. fentry/fentry_multi run before the target returns and are unaffected. Reject a >8 byte return value for these attach types in bpf_check_attach_target() and bpf_check_attach_btf_id_multi(), and for struct_ops in bpf_struct_ops_desc_init(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-68295 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: BPF: Zero-extend signed ALU32 div/mod results ALU32 operations write a 32-bit result and leave the upper 32 bits of the BPF register zero. The LoongArch JIT sign-extends the result of signed ALU32 BPF_DIV and BPF_MOD (off=1), so a negative 32-bit quotient or remainder leaves bits 63:32 set in JITted code while the verifier and interpreter model those bits as zero. Keep sign-extension on the operands, which signed divide needs, and zero-extend the ALU32 result after the divide or modulo instruction, matching the unsigned ALU32 div/mod paths and every other ALU32 operation in this JIT. | ||||
| CVE-2015-4843 | 2 Oracle, Redhat | 6 Jdk, Jre, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u101, 7u85, and 8u60, and Java SE Embedded 8u51, allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Libraries. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27219 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 15 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.6 and 2.67.x before 2.67.3. The function g_bytes_new has an integer overflow on 64-bit platforms due to an implicit cast from 64 bits to 32 bits. The overflow could potentially lead to memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27218 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 8 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. | ||||
| CVE-2020-6096 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| An exploitable signed comparison vulnerability exists in the ARMv7 memcpy() implementation of GNU glibc 2.30.9000. Calling memcpy() (on ARMv7 targets that utilize the GNU glibc implementation) with a negative value for the 'num' parameter results in a signed comparison vulnerability. If an attacker underflows the 'num' parameter to memcpy(), this vulnerability could lead to undefined behavior such as writing to out-of-bounds memory and potentially remote code execution. Furthermore, this memcpy() implementation allows for program execution to continue in scenarios where a segmentation fault or crash should have occurred. The dangers occur in that subsequent execution and iterations of this code will be executed with this corrupted data. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19317 | 4 Netapp, Oracle, Siemens and 1 more | 5 Cloud Backup, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Mysql Workbench and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| lookupName in resolve.c in SQLite 3.30.1 omits bits from the colUsed bitmask in the case of a generated column, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83872 | 1 Microsoft | 15 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 12 more | 2026-10-13 | 7.8 High |
| Incorrect conversion between numeric types in Windows TCP/IP allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110247 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Thunderbird | 2026-10-13 | 8.8 High |
| Several buffer-growth sites in libmime performed size arithmetic in 32-bit types without overflow checks. On a sufficiently large message the growth guard could fail open, or the buffer could be reallocated smaller than required, and a subsequent memcpy would then write attacker-controlled data across adjacent heap allocations. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 158. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106432 | 1 Mongodb | 1 Php Driver | 2026-10-13 | 3.6 Low |
| The BSON encoder in the MongoDB PHP Driver converts a string length to a 32-bit value without validation. When an affected application encodes a string near 4 GiB, the allocation size can wrap while the copy operation uses the original length. The resulting heap buffer overflow can corrupt process memory or terminate the PHP process. Reaching this issue requires a non-default runtime configuration that permits multi-gigabyte values. No MongoDB server interaction is required. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107224 | 2 Excelize, Qax-os | 2 Excelize, Excelize | 2026-10-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.1.0 to 2.11.0, a Zip64 uncompressed size with the high bit set is converted from uint64 to a negative int64 before signed size-limit checks and allocation. ReadZipReader obtains UncompressedSize64 through FileInfo.Size and passes the wrapped negative value to readFile. When a crafted Zip64 entry declares an uncompressed size from 2^63 through 2^64-1 and the workbook is opened, the negative size bypasses unzip limits and reaches make as a negative capacity, allowing an attacker to panic during workbook opening. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98288 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-11 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: fix TSO header length truncation stmmac_tso_xmit() stores the protocol header length returned by stmmac_tso_header_size() in a u8. stmmac_tso_valid_packet() admits headers up to 1023 bytes, so a header longer than 255 bytes wraps modulo 256 (486 becomes 230, 256 becomes 0). A TCP over IPv6 socket carrying a few hundred bytes of sticky destination/hop-by-hop options makes skb_tcp_all_headers() exceed 255 while staying below the 1023-byte limit, so such an skb reaches stmmac_tso_xmit(). Widen proto_hdr_len to unsigned int, which is sufficient since the value is bounded by the hardware limit, and adjust the debug print specifier accordingly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88366 | 1 Memononen | 1 Nanosvg | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| NanoSVG commit 239e102ec contains an incorrect numeric conversion vulnerability in nsvg__pathArcTo() when parsing SVG arc commands. A specially crafted SVG document containing extreme arc radius values can cause intermediate arc calculations to produce a NaN delta angle. The function subsequently converts this NaN value to int without validating that it is finite and representable, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination, leading to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75820 | 1 Gnu | 1 Aspell | 2026-10-06 | 3.3 Low |
| GNU Aspell contains an integer truncation vulnerability in the WritableDict::add() function in modules/speller/default/writable.cpp. When loading a personal wordlist, the word length is stored as a single byte, causing truncation for words whose length is a multiple of 256. This leads to heap corruption. An attacker can exploit this by convincing a user to run aspell with a crafted personal wordlist containing such a word, resulting in denial of service. This issue was fixed in commit 782ce94e4dc71eaec4ee1bd945eb3b9c47c5387d which will be released in version 0.60.8.3. | ||||
