| Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS versions 11.03 and prior, GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, MobileHMI 10.97.3 and prior, IoTWorX 10.97.3 and prior, MC Works64 all versions, GENESIS32 all versions, BizViz all versions, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS versions 11.03 and prior, GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, MobileHMI 10.97.3 and prior, IoTWorX 10.97.3 and prior, GENESIS32 all versions, and BizViz all versions allows an authenticated local user with administrative privileges to unlock the system by tampering with the management file that stores the challenge response. Administrators are able to read and write the management file. But the management file is protected by Windows. As a result, the attacker may disclose, tamper with, destroy, or delete internal information, or cause the affected system to enter a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |

The challenge response used to unlock the system is common to all users and fixed. As a result, the attacker may disclose, tamper with, destroy, or delete internal information, or cause the affected system to enter a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| Insufficient verification of data authenticity in Smart Switch prior to version 3.7.73 allows physical attackers to install arbitrary applications. |
| When the password reset functionality is enabled, and email is configured, an attacker could take over any account using a brute-force attack.
There is no rate limiting on the attempts to enter the reset code, leading to the possibility of a brute force solution to the password reset challenge.
An attacker could gain administrative access to the application and perform actions like configuring the service or requesting log collection. Device credentials and customer data cannot be accessed with this vulnerability. |
| Netherman Portal del Hermano (portaldelhermano.es) before 2026-10-06 contains a broken authentication vulnerability in its password-recovery flow at the POST /password/create-access and POST /password/email endpoints, allowing unauthenticated attackers to take over any member account across all tenants by exploiting the lack of rate limiting and distinct error messages that act as oracles for each of the four identity-verification factors (DNI, date of birth, phone number, last four IBAN digits). Attackers can confirm the DNI via the oracle, brute-force the date of birth and IBAN digits, obtain the phone number through open-source intelligence, then submit an attacker-controlled email field so the password reset link is delivered to them, enabling full account takeover including profile data, full IBAN, and fiscal documents. |
| An administrator could retrieve the password reset code for any user and take over the account.
The password reset codes were included in the output of an API and could be used to reset the password of any account. The API is limited to use by administrator accounts only.
An attacker who already has administrative access to the application could compromise the credentials of other accounts on the application. Device credentials and customer data cannot be accessed with this vulnerability. |
| Improper authentication in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Enterprise Policies component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a predictable password-reset token vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to take over user accounts by computing the reset token as sha1(login.password), a deterministic and reusable value. Attackers can derive or brute-force the reset token from known or guessed login and password combinations to forge valid password-reset requests and hijack arbitrary accounts. |
| Sandbox escape in the Security: Process Sandboxing component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157. |
| Traccar through 6.16.0 contains a weak password recovery vulnerability that allows attackers to reuse password reset tokens as session credentials because TokenManager does not bind tokens to a purpose. Attackers holding a leaked reset link can obtain a full session via /api/session or change passwords via /api/password/update, retaining access for seven days even after the victim resets their password. |
| Gitea's OAuth2 token endpoint verified the signature and grant of a token submitted with the `refresh_token` grant type, but not that the token was a refresh token. An unexpired access token for the same OAuth2 application and grant could be exchanged for a new access token and refresh token. Whoever holds such an access token could keep access beyond the token's original lifetime. |
| LogicalDOC Community Edition through 9.3 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the PswRecovery servlet that fails to bind password recovery tickets to the requesting user. Attackers can obtain a ticket for their own account and reuse it with any userId, including administrators, to reset victims' passwords, lock them out, and reveal their email addresses. |
| Improper handling of insufficient permission in CmcCore prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to use the privileged APIs. |
| The CP Media Player WordPress plugin before 1.3.4 does not perform a capability check on its settings-page handler, allowing users with only Contributor-level access to create, modify, duplicate and delete the site-wide media player configurations and change a CP Media Player WordPress plugin before 1.3.4 option that should require administrator access. |
| The Nexi XPay Build WordPress plugin through 7.6.2 does not verify the payment result supplied to several of its unauthenticated routes, allowing attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid or failed, to cancel them, and to obtain order keys which expose guest buyers' details. |
| Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password vulnerability in AKIN Software Computer Import-Export Industry and Trade Co. Ltd. MyRezzta allows Password Recovery Exploitation.
This issue affects MyRezzta: from 2.06.03 before 2.07.01. |
| Integrics Enswitch 3.13 through 4.4 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in /api/json/user/password/update/ that allows unauthenticated attackers to change account passwords by omitting the reset parameter. Attackers can target accounts with no pending reset, whose empty reset_key matches the defaulted empty value, to take over administrator accounts after enumerating valid usernames. |
| Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to Joplin Server 3.7.2, packages/server/src/models/TokenModel.ts stores CSRF, account-confirmation, email-change, and password-reset tokens without a purpose, and packages/server/src/models/UserModel.ts allows UserModel.resetPassword to accept any token returned by TokenModel.userFromToken. An attacker who obtains a victim's CSRF or confirmation token through a separate disclosure channel can submit it to the public password-reset endpoint, replace the victim's password, and cause the existing sessions and API applications to be deleted. This issue is fixed in Joplin Server 3.7.2. |
| Kiteworks Core did not correctly validate a parameter submitted to the password reset workflow. An unauthenticated attacker who knew the email address of a user with a locally stored password could potentially reset that account's password without access to the emailed reset link and then authenticate as that user, including where the account holds administrative privileges. |
