CVE-2026-98423 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211_hwsim: don't hand frames to mac80211 while stopping The code checks ->started for frames coming from wmediumd, but the radio can be stopped after the check and before frame delivery, causing mac80211 to hit the WARN_ON(!local->started). Expand the mutex for this case and synchronise against it when the radio is stopped to avoid being able to hit the warning with hwsim. Drop the error print that would've complicated the error path, it only triggers for allocation failures (already noisy) and malformed frames anyway.
CVE-2026-73557 2 Vllm, Vllm-project 2 Vllm, Vllm 2026-10-15 5.3 Medium
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. From 0.20.2rc0 until 0.26.0, safe_load_prompt_embeds in vllm/renderers/embed_utils.py uses torch.sparse.check_sparse_tensor_invariants, whose process-global save, enable, and restore state can be raced by concurrent prompt_embeds parts submitted to POST /v1/chat/completions through AsyncMultiModalItemTracker.resolve_items, asyncio.gather, and the default executor, allowing an invalid sparse tensor to reach tensor.to_dense despite the CVE-2025-62164 guard when enable_prompt_embeds is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.
CVE-2025-68404 2026-10-15 N/A
A time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition vulnerability has been reported to affect QuRouter. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow remote attackers to compromise the security of the system. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: QuRouter 2.6.4.001 and later
CVE-2026-94621 2026-10-15 6.3 Medium
AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing. Prior to 0.30.3, the AliasVault server API favicon extractor validates a user-supplied hostname with a first DNS lookup but allows the HTTP client to perform a second DNS lookup when connecting. An authenticated low-privileged user operating an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server can return a public address during validation and a private address during connection, causing a publicly reachable self-hosted server to issue HTTP or HTTPS requests to internal hosts. A valid image response is returned in Base64 form, while other responses can expose limited timing and error information for internal-network reconnaissance. Exploitation requires a publicly reachable self-hosted instance with public registration enabled, an authenticated AliasVault account, an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server, and a resolver that permits rebinding; default checks limit requests to ports 80 and 443. The browser extensions, web application, and mobile applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.3.
CVE-2026-57569 2026-10-15 N/A
Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.6.0, the POST /api/v2/Photo::fromUrl flow validates a hostname and its resolved addresses in app/Rules/PhotoUrlRule.php but later passes the original hostname through app/Actions/Import/FromUrl.php to app/Image/Files/DownloadedFile.php for a separate fopen connection. An authenticated attacker who controls DNS responses can cause validation to observe a public address and the subsequent fetch to resolve the same hostname to a private or otherwise forbidden address. This DNS rebinding time-of-check to time-of-use mismatch bypasses the intended server-side request forgery protections and can reach services available from the Lychee server, subject to deployment and TLS behavior. This issue is fixed in version 7.6.0.
CVE-2026-97774 1 Microsoft 1 365 Apps 2026-10-15 7 High
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Microsoft Office Click-To-Run allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-73179 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-15 8.1 High
Improper enforcement of single-use authorization code semantics in the JPA OAuth2 authorization code grant provider in Apache CXFallows a remote attacker to obtain multiple valid access tokens from a single authorization code via concurrent token exchange requests that race the non-atomic find-then-delete operation against a shared relational database under READ_COMMITTED isolation. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-102354 2026-10-15 6.8 Medium
BentoPDF is a privacy-focused PDF toolkit that runs in the browser. In versions through 2.8.6, cloudflare/cors-proxy-worker.js performs a DNS-over-HTTPS safety check in hostnameResolvesToPrivate(), as used by isValidCertificateUrl() and isValidTsaUrl(), separately from the outbound fetch(targetUrl, ...). In deployments where PROXY_SECRET validation is not enabled, a direct client that controls authoritative DNS can forge the Origin header, supply a certificate, OCSP, CRL, or TSA URL that passes the proxy's accepted path checks, return a public address during validation, and return a private or link-local address during the later fetch. The endpoint can return allowed response bodies to the attacker, but exploitation requires precise timing, redirects and IP-literal obfuscation are blocked, and network reachability limits the target. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.8.7.
CVE-2026-53613 2026-10-15 7 High
util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. In util-linux 2.17 through 2.41.6 and 2.42 through 2.42.3, and in 2.42.4 when the legacy `mount(2)` path is used without `/proc`, restricted non-root `mount` requests validate an `/etc/fstab` target before the mount operation re-resolves that pathname. A local low-privileged user authorized by an fstab `user` or `users` entry whose target has an attacker-writable ancestor can use `renameat2(RENAME_EXCHANGE)` to swap a path component and redirect an authorized mount to a root-owned location, such as mounting attacker-controlled content over `/etc/sudoers.d`, and thereby gain root privileges. Versions 2.41.5 and 2.42.2 pin targets for the new mount API, and 2.42.4 pins legacy targets through `/proc/self/fd`; the documented legacy fallback without `/proc` remains affected.
CVE-2026-101308 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
When an audio channel's buffer needs to be resized, the sound(4) driver checks that the buffer is not memory-mapped and then drops the channel lock to allocate a new buffer. An mmap(2) call on another thread can complete during this window, after which the resize path frees the now-mapped buffer without rechecking. An unprivileged local user with access to a sound device can exploit this race to trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, potentially escalating privileges.
CVE-2026-108361 1 Privasys 1 Ra-tls-clients 2026-10-15 N/A
Privasys Remote Attestation TLS Clients provides multi-language utilities for verifying attested TLS connections. Before 0.9.1, an attacker with local access could modify workload code, data, and configuration at any time after successful connection establishment. Once Evidence was successfully appraised and the connection was established, there was a window of vulnerability from the establishment of the connection to the termination of the connection where an attacker could modify the state of the workload and platform at runtime on the TLS endpoint acting as the Attester. This vulnerability was possible because Privasys/ra-tls-clients performed attestation only once in the lifetime of the connection (at connection establishment time), and the verifying peer continued to believe that the state was the same as in the initial Evidence throughout, whereas it could be stale at some point in time. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.1.
CVE-2026-74605 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventfs: Use children field for rcu head and add memory barriers When an eventfs inode is freed, it sets ei->is_freed and then uses its ei->list to add it to the srcu link list as the list field is a union with the rcu list head. As the ei->list is used to iterate over an SRCU protected list without taking the eventfs_mutex, there's nothing stopping the iteration over that list to see the ei->rcu instead of the ei->list and it will read a corrupt target. To fix this, change the union of the rcu list head with the children list. On freeing the eventfs inode, set the is_free and execute a smp_wmb() before adding the eventfs inode to the SRCU list. On iteration of the ei->children list, at the start, execute a smp_rmb() and then read the is_freed of the ei to see if the children list is still valid. If is_freed is set, then the ei_child read is not valid and the loop should exit immediately.
CVE-2026-74273 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/region: Block region delete during region creation Expand the range lock, rename it "regions_lock", to disable region deletion in the critical period between construct_region() and attach_target(), as well as the period between device_add() and registering the remove actions. Otherwise, userspace can confuse the kernel. It can violate the assumption the region stays registered through the completion of cxl_add_to_region(). It can violate the assumption that devm_add_action_or_reset() is working with a live 'struct cxl_region'. It is ok for the region to disappear outside of those windows as that mirrors device hotplug flows where the proper locks are held.
CVE-2026-68404 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: use wiphy work for socket owner autodisconnect nl80211_netlink_notify() walks the cfg80211 wireless device list when a NETLINK_GENERIC socket is released. If the socket owns a connection, the notifier queues the embedded wdev->disconnect_wk work item. That work is a plain work_struct today. NETDEV_GOING_DOWN cancels it, but a NETLINK_URELEASE notifier that already observed conn_owner_nlportid can queue it after that cancel returns. _cfg80211_unregister_wdev() then removes the wdev from the list and waits for RCU readers, but synchronize_net() does not drain work queued by such a reader. Make the autodisconnect work a wiphy_work instead. The callback already needs the wiphy mutex, and wiphy_work runs under that mutex. This lets teardown cancel pending autodisconnect work while holding the mutex, without a cancel_work_sync() vs. worker locking concern. Also cancel the wiphy work after list_del_rcu() and synchronize_net(). Any NETLINK_URELEASE notifier that had already reached the wdev list has then either queued the work and it is removed, or can no longer find the wdev.
CVE-2026-64057 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Fix the locking used by afs_get_link() The afs filesystem in the kernel doesn't do locking correctly for symbolic links. There are a number of problems: (1) It doesn't do any locking around afs_read_single() to prevent races between multiple ->get_link() calls, thereby allowing the possibility of leaks. (2) It doesn't use RCU barriering when accessing the buffer pointers during RCU pathwalk. (3) It can race with another thread updating the contents of the symlink if a third party updated it on the server. Fix this by the following means: (0) Move symlink handling into its own file as this makes it more complicated. (1) Take the validate_lock around afs_read_single() to prevent races between multiple ->get_link() calls. (2) Keep a separate copy of the symlink contents with an rcu_head. This is always going to be a lot smaller than a page, so it can be kmalloc'd and save quite a bit of memory. It also needs a refcount for non-RCU pathwalk. (3) Split the symlink read and write-to-cache routines in afs from those for directories. (4) Discard the I/O buffer as soon as the write-to-cache completes as this is a full page (plus a folio_queue). (5) If there's no cache, discard the I/O buffer immediately after reading and copying if there is no cache.
CVE-2026-53108 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/64s: Fix unmap race with PMD migration entries The following race is possible with migration swap entries or device-private THP entries. e.g. when move_pages is called on a PMD THP page, then there maybe an intermediate state, where PMD entry acts as a migration swap entry (pmd_present() is true). CVE-2026-53017 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix data loss caused by incorrect use of nat_entry flag Data loss can occur when fsync is performed on a newly created file (before any checkpoint has been written) concurrently with a checkpoint operation. The scenario is as follows: create & write & fsync 'file A' write checkpoint - f2fs_do_sync_file // inline inode - f2fs_write_inode // inode folio is dirty - f2fs_write_checkpoint - f2fs_flush_merged_writes - f2fs_sync_node_pages - f2fs_flush_nat_entries - f2fs_fsync_node_pages // no dirty node - f2fs_need_inode_block_update // return false SPO and lost 'file A' f2fs_flush_nat_entries() sets the IS_CHECKPOINTED and HAS_LAST_FSYNC flags for the nat_entry, but this does not mean that the checkpoint has actually completed successfully. However, f2fs_need_inode_block_update() checks these flags and incorrectly assumes that the checkpoint has finished. The root cause is that the semantics of IS_CHECKPOINTED and HAS_LAST_FSYNC are only guaranteed after the checkpoint write fully completes. This patch modifies f2fs_need_inode_block_update() to acquire the sbi->node_write lock before reading the nat_entry flags, ensuring that once IS_CHECKPOINTED and HAS_LAST_FSYNC are observed to be set, the checkpoint operation has already completed.
CVE-2026-53008 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix race condition in TX timestamp ring cleanup Fix a race condition between ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring() and ice_tx_map() that can cause a NULL pointer dereference. ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring currently clears the ICE_TX_FLAGS_TXTIME flag after NULLing the tstamp_ring. This could allow a concurrent ice_tx_map call on another CPU to dereference the tstamp_ring, which could lead to a NULL pointer dereference. CPU A:ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring() | CPU B:ice_tx_map() --------------------------------|--------------------------------- tx_ring->tstamp_ring = NULL | | ice_is_txtime_cfg() -> true | tstamp_ring = tx_ring->tstamp_ring | tstamp_ring->count // NULL deref! flags &= ~ICE_TX_FLAGS_TXTIME | Fix by: 1. Reordering ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring() to clear the flag before NULLing the pointer, with smp_wmb() to ensure proper ordering. 2. Adding smp_rmb() in ice_tx_map() after the flag check to order the flag read before the pointer read, using READ_ONCE() for the pointer, and adding a NULL check as a safety net. 3. Converting tx_ring->flags from u8 to DECLARE_BITMAP() and using atomic bitops (set_bit(), clear_bit(), test_bit()) for all flag operations throughout the driver: - ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_XDP - ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_VLAN_L2TAG1 - ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_VLAN_L2TAG2 - ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME

This will mark the fs read-only. The problem is inside the btrfs_repair_io_failure() path that we require the fs not to be mount read-only. This is normally fine, but if we are doing a read-repair meanwhile the fs flips RO due to a critical error, we can enter btrfs_repair_io_failure() with super block set to read-only, thus triggering the above crash. [FIX] Just replace the ASSERT() with a proper return if the fs is already read-only.
CVE-2025-71303 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: Fix race condition when checking rpm_on When autosuspend is triggered, driver rpm_on flag is set to indicate that a suspend/resume is already in progress. However, when a userspace application submits a command during this narrow window, amdxdna_pm_resume_get() may incorrectly skip the resume operation because the rpm_on flag is still set. This results in commands being submitted while the device has not actually resumed, causing unexpected behavior. The set_dpm() is called by suspend/resume, it relied on rpm_on flag to avoid calling into rpm suspend/resume recursivly. So to fix this, remove the use of the rpm_on flag entirely. Instead, introduce aie2_pm_set_dpm() which explicitly resumes the device before invoking set_dpm(). With this change, set_dpm() is called directly inside the suspend or resume execution path. Otherwise, aie2_pm_set_dpm() is called.
