CVE-2012-1122 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 3.6 LOW N/A
bug_actiongroup.php in MantisBT before 1.2.9 does not properly check the report_bug_threshold permission of the receiving project when moving a bug report, which allows remote authenticated users with the report_bug_threshold and move_bug_threshold privileges for a project to bypass intended access restrictions and move bug reports to a different project.
CVE-2012-1120 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 3.6 LOW N/A
The SOAP API in MantisBT before 1.2.9 does not properly enforce the bugnote_allow_user_edit_delete and delete_bug_threshold permissions, which allows remote authenticated users with read and write SOAP API privileges to delete arbitrary bug reports and bug notes.
CVE-2012-1118 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
The access_has_bug_level function in core/access_api.php in MantisBT before 1.2.9 does not properly restrict access when the private_bug_view_threshold is set to an array, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended restrictions and perform certain operations on private bug reports.
CVE-2012-1121 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 4.9 MEDIUM N/A
MantisBT before 1.2.9 does not properly check permissions, which allows remote authenticated users with manager privileges to (1) modify or (2) delete global categories.
CVE-2013-4460 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 3.5 LOW N/A
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in account_sponsor_page.php in MantisBT 1.0.0 through 1.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a project name.
CVE-2011-3356 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in config_defaults_inc.php in MantisBT before 1.2.8 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH_INFO, as demonstrated by the PATH_INFO to (1) manage_config_email_page.php, (2) manage_config_workflow_page.php, or (3) bugs/plugin.php.
CVE-2010-4349 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 5.0 MEDIUM N/A
admin/upgrade_unattended.php in MantisBT before 1.2.4 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via an invalid db_type parameter, which reveals the installation path in an error message, related to an unsafe call by MantisBT to a function in the ADOdb Library for PHP.
CVE-2011-3578 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in bug_actiongroup_ext_page.php in MantisBT before 1.2.8 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the action parameter, related to bug_actiongroup_page.php, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-3357.
CVE-2011-2938 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in filter_api.php in MantisBT before 1.2.7 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a parameter, as demonstrated by the project_id parameter to search.php.
CVE-2012-1119 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-04-29 6.4 MEDIUM N/A
MantisBT before 1.2.9 does not audit when users copy or clone a bug report, which makes it easier for remote attackers to copy bug reports without detection.

Mantis 1.1.x through 1.1.2 and 1.2.x through 1.2.0a2 does not set the secure flag for the session cookie in an https session, which can cause the cookie to be sent in http requests and make it easier for remote attackers to capture this cookie.
CVE-2026-30849 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-03-25 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. Versions prior to 2.28.1 running on MySQL family databases are affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability in the SOAP API, as a result of an improper type checking on the password parameter. Other database backends are not affected, as they do not perform implicit type conversion from string to integer. Using a crafted SOAP envelope, an attacker knowing the victim's username is able to login to the SOAP API with their account without knowledge of the actual password, and execute any API function they have access to. Version 2.28.1 contains a patch. Disabling the SOAP API significantly reduces the risk, but still allows the attacker to retrieve user account information including email address and real name.
CVE-2026-33517 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-03-25 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In version 2.28.0, when deleting a Tag (tag_delete.php), improper escaping of its name when displaying the confirmation message allows an attacker to inject HTML and, if CSP settings permit, achieve execution of arbitrary JavaScript. Version 2.28.1 fixes the issue. Workarounds include reverting commit d6890320752ecf37bd74d11fe14fe7dc12335be9 and/or manually editing language files to remove the sprintf placeholder `%1$s` from `$s_tag_delete_message` string.
CVE-2026-33548 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2026-03-25 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In version 2.28.0, improper escaping of tag names retrieved from History in Timeline (my_view_page.php) allows an attacker to inject HTML and, if CSP settings permit, achieve execution of arbitrary JavaScript, when displaying a tag that has been renamed or deleted. Version 2.28.1 contains a patch. Workarounds include editing offending History entries (using SQL) and wrapping `$this->tag_name` in a string_html_specialchars() call in IssueTagTimelineEvent::html().
CVE-2025-55155 1 Mantisbt 1 Mantisbt 2025-11-10 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In versions 2.27.1 and below, when a user edits their profile to change their e-mail address, the system saves it without validating that it actually belongs to the user. This could result in storing an invalid email address, preventing the user from receiving system notifications. Notifications sent to another person's email address could lead to information disclosure. This issue is fixed in version 2.27.2.
