| SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, the kernel stores Attribute View (AV / database) names without any HTML escape, then a render template uses raw strings.ReplaceAll(tpl, "${avName}", nodeAvName) to embed the name in HTML before pushing to all clients via WebSocket. Three independent client paths (render.ts:120 → outerHTML, Title.ts:401 → innerHTML, transaction.ts:559 → innerHTML) consume the value without escaping. Because the main BrowserWindow runs nodeIntegration:true, contextIsolation:false, webSecurity:false (app/electron/main.js:407-411), HTML injection in the renderer becomes Node.js code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. | |||||

| Kiota is an OpenAPI based HTTP Client code generator. Versions prior to 1.31.1 are affected by a code-generation literal injection vulnerability in multiple writer sinks (for example: serialization/deserialization keys, path/query parameter mappings, URL template metadata, enum/property metadata, and default value emission). When malicious values from an OpenAPI description are emitted into generated source without context-appropriate escaping, an attacker can break out of string literals and inject additional code into generated clients. This issue is only practically exploitable when the OpenAPI description used for generation is from an untrusted source, or a normally trusted OpenAPI description has been compromised/tampered with. Only generating from trusted, integrity-protected API descriptions significantly reduces the risk. To remediate the issue, upgrade Kiota to 1.31.1 or later and regenerate/refresh existing generated clients as a precaution. Refreshing generated clients ensures previously generated vulnerable code is replaced with hardened output. | |||||

In the desktop app this becomes stored XSS, and because SiYuan's Electron windows are created with nodeIntegration: true and contextIsolation: false, a successful payload can call Node.js APIs and execute code on the host. When installing validator packages via guardrails hub install, the system retrieves a manifest from the Guardrails Hub and dynamically executes a script specified in the post_install field. | soundcloud-rpc is a SoundCloud Client with Discord Rich Presence, Dark Mode, Last.fm and AdBlock support. Prior to 0.1.8, a track title containing an HTML payload executed locally in the Electron app. This means attacker-controlled SoundCloud track metadata can lead to local command execution on the user's machine. The application exposes a preload API (window.soundcloudAPI.sendTrackUpdate) to the remote SoundCloud page. Track metadata from SoundCloud is trusted and forwarded through IPC into the Electron main process. | Luanti (formerly Minetest) is an open source voxel game-creation platform. Starting in version 5.0.0 and prior to version 5.15.2, a malicious mod can trivially escape the sandboxed Lua environment to execute arbitrary code and gain full filesystem access on the user's device. This applies to the server-side mod, async and mapgen as well as the client-side (CSM) environments. This vulnerability is only exploitable when using LuaJIT. Version 5.15.2 contains a patch. On release versions, one can also patch this issue without recompiling by editing `builtin/init.lua` and adding the line `getfenv = nil` at the end.
