An issue was discovered in the demo/LINUXTCP implementation of cwalter-at freemodbus v.2018-09-12 allowing attackers to reach an infinite loop via a crafted length value for a packet.
CVE-2025-48879 1 Octoprint 1 Octoprint 2026-06-17 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
OctoPrint versions up until and including 1.11.1 contain a vulnerability that allows any unauthenticated attacker to send a manipulated broken multipart/form-data request to OctoPrint and through that make the web server component become unresponsive. The issue can be triggered by a broken multipart/form-data request lacking an end boundary to any of OctoPrint's endpoints implemented through the octoprint.server.util.tornado.UploadStorageFallbackHandler request handler. The request handler will get stuck in an endless busy loop, looking for a part of the request that will never come. As Tornado is single-threaded, that will effectively block the whole web server. The vulnerability has been patched in version 1.11.2.
CVE-2025-42954 2026-06-17 N/A 2.7 LOW
SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse CCAW application allows a privileged attacker to cause a high CPU load by executing a RFC enabled function modules without any input parameters, which results in reduced performance or interrupted operation of the affected resource. This leads to low impact on availability of the application, there is no impact on confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2025-41075 1 Limesurvey 1 Limesurvey 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Vulnerability in LimeSurvey 6.13.0 in the endpoint /optin that causes infinite HTTP redirects when accessed directly. This behavior can be exploited to generate a Denegation of Service (DoS attack), by exhausting server or client resources. The system is unable to break the redirect loop, which can cause service degradation or browser instability.
CVE-2025-41074 1 Limesurvey 1 Limesurvey 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Vulnerability in LimeSurvey 6.13.0 in the endpoint /optout that causes infinite HTTP redirects when accessed directly. This behavior can be exploited to generate a Denegation of Service (DoS attack), by exhausting server or client resources. The system is unable to break the redirect loop, which can cause service degradation or browser instability.
CVE-2025-3857 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
When reading binary Ion data through Amazon.IonDotnet using the RawBinaryReader class, Amazon.IonDotnet does not check the number of bytes read from the underlying stream while deserializing the binary format. If the Ion data is malformed or truncated, this triggers an infinite loop condition that could potentially result in a denial of service. Users should upgrade to Amazon.IonDotnet version 1.3.1 and ensure any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes.
CVE-2025-38692 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: add cluster chain loop check for dir An infinite loop may occur if the following conditions occur due to file system corruption. (1) Condition for exfat_count_dir_entries() to loop infinitely. - The cluster chain includes a loop. - There is no UNUSED entry in the cluster chain. (2) Condition for exfat_create_upcase_table() to loop infinitely. - The cluster chain of the root directory includes a loop. - There are no UNUSED entry and up-case table entry in the cluster chain of the root directory. (3) Condition for exfat_load_bitmap() to loop infinitely. - The cluster chain of the root directory includes a loop. - There are no UNUSED entry and bitmap entry in the cluster chain of the root directory. (4) Condition for exfat_find_dir_entry() to loop infinitely. - The cluster chain includes a loop. - The unused directory entries were exhausted by some operation. (5) Condition for exfat_check_dir_empty() to loop infinitely. - The cluster chain includes a loop. - The unused directory entries were exhausted by some operation. - All files and sub-directories under the directory are deleted. This commit adds checks to break the above infinite loop.
CVE-2025-38649 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: dts: qcom: qcs615: fix a crash issue caused by infinite loop for Coresight An infinite loop has been created by the Coresight devices. When only a source device is enabled, the coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink function is recursively invoked in an attempt to locate an active sink device, ultimately leading to a stack overflow and system crash. Therefore, disable the replicator1 to break the infinite loop and prevent a potential stack overflow. replicator1_out -> funnel_swao_in6 -> tmc_etf_swao_in -> tmc_etf_swao_out | | replicator1_in replicator_swao_in | | replicator0_out1 replicator_swao_out0 | | replicator0_in funnel_in1_in3 | | tmc_etf_out <- tmc_etf_in <- funnel_merg_out <- funnel_merg_in1 <- funnel_in1_out [call trace] dump_backtrace+0x9c/0x128 show_stack+0x20/0x38 dump_stack_lvl+0x48/0x60 dump_stack+0x18/0x28 panic+0x340/0x3b0 nmi_panic+0x94/0xa0 panic_bad_stack+0x114/0x138 handle_bad_stack+0x34/0xb8 __bad_stack+0x78/0x80 coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x28/0xa0 [coresight] coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x5c/0xa0 [coresight] coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x5c/0xa0 [coresight] coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x5c/0xa0 [coresight] coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x5c/0xa0 [coresight] ... coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink+0x5c/0xa0 [coresight] coresight_enable_sysfs+0x80/0x2a0 [coresight] side effect after the change: Only trace data originating from AOSS can reach the ETF_SWAO and EUD sinks.
CVE-2025-38588 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: prevent infinite loop in rt6_nlmsg_size() While testing prior patch, I was able to trigger an infinite loop in rt6_nlmsg_size() in the following place: list_for_each_entry_rcu(sibling, &f6i->fib6_siblings, fib6_siblings) { rt6_nh_nlmsg_size(sibling->fib6_nh, &nexthop_len); } This is because fib6_del_route() and fib6_add_rt2node() uses list_del_rcu(), which can confuse rcu readers, because they might no longer see the head of the list. Restart the loop if f6i->fib6_nsiblings is zero.
CVE-2025-38587 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: fix possible infinite loop in fib6_info_uses_dev() fib6_info_uses_dev() seems to rely on RCU without an explicit protection. Like the prior fix in rt6_nlmsg_size(), we need to make sure fib6_del_route() or fib6_add_rt2node() have not removed the anchor from the list, or we risk an infinite loop.
CVE-2025-38001 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: hfsc: Address reentrant enqueue adding class to eltree twice Savino says: "We are writing to report that this recent patch (141d34391abbb315d68556b7c67ad97885407547) [1] can be bypassed, and a UAF can still occur when HFSC is utilized with NETEM. The patch only checks the cl->cl_nactive field to determine whether it is the first insertion or not [2], but this field is only incremented by init_vf [3]. By using HFSC_RSC (which uses init_ed) [4], it is possible to bypass the check and insert the class twice in the eltree. Under normal conditions, this would lead to an infinite loop in hfsc_dequeue for the reasons we already explained in this report [5]. However, if TBF is added as root qdisc and it is configured with a very low rate, it can be utilized to prevent packets from being dequeued. This behavior can be exploited to perform subsequent insertions in the HFSC eltree and cause a UAF." To fix both the UAF and the infinite loop, with netem as an hfsc child, check explicitly in hfsc_enqueue whether the class is already in the eltree whenever the HFSC_RSC flag is set. CVE-2025-37859 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: page_pool: avoid infinite loop to schedule delayed worker We noticed the kworker in page_pool_release_retry() was waken up repeatedly and infinitely in production because of the buggy driver causing the inflight less than 0 and warning us in page_pool_inflight()[1]. Since the inflight value goes negative, it means we should not expect the whole page_pool to get back to work normally. This patch mitigates the adverse effect by not rescheduling the kworker when detecting the inflight negative in page_pool_release_retry(). [1] [Mon Feb 10 20:36:11 2025] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [Mon Feb 10 20:36:11 2025] Negative(-51446) inflight packet-pages ... CVE-2025-32947 1 Framasoft 1 Peertube 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
This vulnerability allows any attacker to cause the PeerTube server to stop responding to requests due to an infinite loop in the "inbox" endpoint when receiving crafted ActivityPub activities.
CVE-2025-32029 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
ts-asn1-der is a collection of utility classes to encode ASN.1 data following DER rule. Incorrect number DER encoding can lead to denial on service for absolute values in the range 2**31 -- 2**32 - 1. The arithmetic in the numBitLen didn't take into account that values in this range could result in a negative result upon applying the >> operator, leading to an infinite loop. The issue is patched in version 1.0.4. If upgrading is not an option, the issue can be mitigated by validating inputs to Asn1Integer to ensure that they are not smaller than -2**31 + 1 and no larger than 2**31 - 1.
