| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: core: Cancel RTC work during ufshcd_remove() Currently, RTC work is only cancelled during __ufshcd_wl_suspend(). When ufshcd is removed in ufshcd_remove(), RTC work is not cancelled. Due to this, any further trigger of the RTC work after ufshcd_remove() would result in a NULL pointer dereference as below: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000000002a4 Workqueue: events ufshcd_rtc_work Call trace: _raw_spin_lock_irqsave+0x34/0x8c pm_runtime_get_if_active+0x24/0xb4 ufshcd_rtc_work+0x124/0x19c process_scheduled_works+0x18c/0x2d8 worker_thread+0x144/0x280 kthread+0x11c/0x128 ret_from_fork+0x10/0x20 Since RTC work accesses the ufshcd internal structures, it should be cancelled when ufshcd is removed. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/IPoIB: Fix legacy IPoIB due to wrong number of queues The cited commit creates child PKEY interfaces over netlink will multiple tx and rx queues, but some devices doesn't support more than 1 tx and 1 rx queues. This causes to a crash when traffic is sent over the PKEY interface due to the parent having a single queue but the child having multiple queues. This patch fixes the number of queues to 1 for legacy IPoIB at the earliest possible point in time. | CVE-2025-1470 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Omr | 2025-03-05 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In Eclipse OMR, from the initial contribution to version 0.4.0, some OMR internal port library and utilities consumers of z/OS atoe functions do not check their return values for NULL memory pointers or for memory allocation failures. This can lead to NULL pointer dereference crashes. Beginning in version 0.5.0, internal OMR consumers of atoe functions handle NULL return values and memory allocation failures correctly. | |||||

| CVE-2021-47169 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-03 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: rp2: use 'request_firmware' instead of 'request_firmware_nowait' In 'rp2_probe', the driver registers 'rp2_uart_interrupt' then calls 'rp2_fw_cb' through 'request_firmware_nowait'. In 'rp2_fw_cb', if the firmware don't exists, function just return without initializing ports of 'rp2_card'. But now the interrupt handler function has been registered, and when an interrupt comes, 'rp2_uart_interrupt' may access those ports then causing NULL pointer dereference or other bugs. Because the driver does some initialization work in 'rp2_fw_cb', in order to make the driver ready to handle interrupts, 'request_firmware' should be used instead of asynchronous 'request_firmware_nowait'. This report reveals it: INFO: trying to register non-static key. the code is fine but needs lockdep annotation. turning off the locking correctness validator.
