Spectrum Cash Receipting System before 6.504 uses weak cryptography (static substitution) in the PASSFILE password file, which makes it easier for local users to gain privileges by decrypting a password.
CVE-2005-2946 2 Canonical, Openssl 2 Ubuntu Linux, Openssl 2026-04-16 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
The default configuration on OpenSSL before 0.9.8 uses MD5 for creating message digests instead of a more cryptographically strong algorithm, which makes it easier for remote attackers to forge certificates with a valid certificate authority signature.

CVE-2025-14762 2026-04-15 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Missing cryptographic key commitment in the AWS SDK for Ruby may allow a user with write access to the S3 bucket to introduce a new EDK that decrypts to different plaintext when the encrypted data key is stored in an "instruction file" instead of S3's metadata record. To mitigate this issue, upgrade AWS SDK for Ruby to version 1.208.0 or later.

The affected devices support the TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256 cipher suite, which uses CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode that is known to be vulnerable to timing attacks. This could allow an attacker to compromise the integrity and confidentiality of encrypted communications.
CVE-2024-26317 2026-04-15 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
In illumos illumos-gate 2024-02-15, an error occurs in the elliptic curve point addition algorithm that uses mixed Jacobian-affine coordinates, causing the algorithm to yield a result of POINT_AT_INFINITY when it should not. A man-in-the-middle attacker could use this to interfere with a connection, resulting in an attacked party computing an incorrect shared secret.
CVE-2025-3200 2026-04-15 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit the used, insecure TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols to intercept and manipulate encrypted communications between the Com-Server and connected systems.
CVE-2025-2545 2026-04-15 N/A N/A
Vulnerability in Best Practical Solutions, LLC's Request Tracker prior to v5.0.8, where the Triple DES (3DES) cryptographic algorithm is used to protect emails sent with S/MIME encryption. Triple DES is considered obsolete and insecure due to its susceptibility to birthday attacks, which could compromise the confidentiality of encrypted messages.
CVE-2025-14761 2026-04-15 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Missing cryptographic key commitment in the AWS SDK for PHP may allow a user with write access to the S3 bucket to introduce a new EDK that decrypts to different plaintext when the encrypted data key is stored in an "instruction file" instead of S3's metadata record. To mitigate this issue, upgrade AWS SDK for PHP to version 3.368.0 or later
CVE-2024-8603 2026-04-15 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A “Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm” vulnerability in the SSL/TLS component used in B&R Automation Runtime versions before 6.1 and B&R mapp View versions before 6.1 may be abused by unauthenticated network-based attackers to masquerade as services on impacted devices.
CVE-2025-14760 2026-04-15 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Missing cryptographic key commitment in the AWS SDK for C++ may allow a user with write access to the S3 bucket to introduce a new EDK that decrypts to different plaintext when the encrypted data key is stored in an "instruction file" instead of S3's metadata record. To mitigate this issue, upgrade AWS SDK for C++ to version 1.11.712 or later
CVE-2024-53441 2026-04-15 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
An issue in the index.js decryptCookie function of cookie-encrypter v1.0.1 allows attackers to execute a bit flipping attack.
CVE-2024-55539 2026-04-15 N/A 2.5 LOW
Weak algorithm used to sign RPM package. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Linux) before build 39185, Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Linux) before build 39938.
CVE-2022-3365 2026-04-15 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Due to reliance on a trivial substitution cipher, sent in cleartext, and the reliance on a default password when the user does not set a password, the Remote Mouse Server by Emote Interactive can be abused by attackers to inject OS commands over theproduct's custom control protocol. A Metasploit module was written and tested against version 4.110, the current version when this CVE was reserved.
CVE-2025-14759 2026-04-15 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Missing cryptographic key commitment in the Amazon S3 Encryption Client for .NET may allow a user with write access to the S3 bucket to introduce a new EDK that decrypts to different plaintext when the encrypted data key is stored in an "instruction file" instead of S3's metadata record. To mitigate this issue, upgrade Amazon S3 Encryption Client for .NET to version 3.2.0 or later.
CVE-2024-28834 2026-04-15 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in GnuTLS. The Minerva attack is a cryptographic vulnerability that exploits deterministic behavior in systems like GnuTLS, leading to side-channel leaks. In specific scenarios, such as when using the GNUTLS_PRIVKEY_FLAG_REPRODUCIBLE flag, it can result in a noticeable step in nonce size from 513 to 512 bits, exposing a potential timing side-channel.
CVE-2025-27508 2026-04-15 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Emissary is a P2P based data-driven workflow engine. The ChecksumCalculator class within allows for hashing and checksum generation, but it includes or defaults to algorithms that are no longer recommended for secure cryptographic use cases (e.g., SHA-1, CRC32, and SSDEEP). These algorithms, while possibly valid for certain non-security-critical tasks, can expose users to security risks if used in scenarios where strong cryptographic guarantees are required. This issue is fixed in 8.24.0.
CVE-2025-51726 2026-04-15 N/A 8.4 HIGH
CyberGhostVPNSetup.exe (Windows installer) is signed using the weak cryptographic hash algorithm SHA-1, which is vulnerable to collision attacks. This allows a malicious actor to craft a fake installer with a forged SHA-1 certificate that may still be accepted by Windows signature verification mechanisms, particularly on systems without strict SmartScreen or trust policy enforcement. Additionally, the installer lacks High Entropy Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), as confirmed by BinSkim (BA2015 rule) and repeated WinDbg analysis. The binary consistently loads into predictable memory ranges, increasing the success rate of memory corruption exploits. These two misconfigurations, when combined, significantly lower the bar for successful supply-chain style attacks or privilege escalation through fake installers.
CVE-2025-65951 2026-04-15 N/A 8.7 HIGH
Inside Track / Entropy Derby is a research-grade horse-racing betting engine. Prior to commit 2d38d2f, the VDF-based timelock encryption system fails to enforce sequential delay against the betting operator. Bettors pre-compute the entire Wesolowski VDF and include vdfOutputHex in their encrypted bet ticket, allowing the house to decrypt immediately using fast proof verification instead of expensive VDF evaluation. This issue has been patched via commit 2d38d2f.
