CVE-2026-33997 1 Mobyproject 1 Moby 2026-04-03 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Moby is an open source container framework. Prior to version 29.3.1, a security vulnerability has been detected that allows plugins privilege validation to be bypassed during docker plugin install. Due to an error in the daemon's privilege comparison logic, the daemon may incorrectly accept a privilege set that differs from the one approved by the user. Plugins that request exactly one privilege are also affected, because no comparison is performed at all. This issue has been patched in version 29.3.1.

CVE-2026-22593 1 Linuxfoundation 1 Everest 2026-03-31 N/A 8.4 HIGH
EVerest is an EV charging software stack. Prior to version 2026.02.0, an off-by-one check in IsoMux certificate filename handling causes a stack-based buffer overflow when a filename length equals `MAX_FILE_NAME_LENGTH` (100). A crafted filename in the certificate directory can overflow `file_names[idx]`, corrupting stack state and enabling potential code execution. Version 2026.02.0 contains a patch.
CVE-2025-71087 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iavf: fix off-by-one issues in iavf_config_rss_reg() There are off-by-one bugs when configuring RSS hash key and lookup table, causing out-of-bounds reads to memory [1] and out-of-bounds writes to device registers. Before commit 43a3d9ba34c9 ("i40evf: Allow PF driver to configure RSS"), the loop upper bounds were: i <= I40E_VFQF_{HKEY,HLUT}_MAX_INDEX which is safe since the value is the last valid index. That commit changed the bounds to: i <= adapter->rss_{key,lut}_size / 4 where `rss_{key,lut}_size / 4` is the number of dwords, so the last valid index is `(rss_{key,lut}_size / 4) - 1`. Therefore, using `<=` accesses one element past the end. Fix the issues by using `<` instead of `<=`, ensuring we do not exceed the bounds. [1] KASAN splat about rss_key_size off-by-one BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in iavf_config_rss+0x619/0x800 Read of size 4 at addr ffff888102c50134 by task kworker/u8:6/63 CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 63 Comm: kworker/u8:6 Not tainted 6.18.0-rc2-enjuk-tnguy-00378-g3005f5b77652-dirty #156 PREEMPT(voluntary) Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 1.16.3-debian-1.16.3-2 04/01/2014 Workqueue: iavf iavf_watchdog_task Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x6f/0xb0 print_report+0x170/0x4f3 kasan_report+0xe1/0x1a0 iavf_config_rss+0x619/0x800 iavf_watchdog_task+0x2be7/0x3230 process_one_work+0x7fd/0x1420 worker_thread+0x4d1/0xd40 kthread+0x344/0x660 ret_from_fork+0x249/0x320 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 </TASK> Allocated by task 63: kasan_save_stack+0x30/0x50 kasan_save_track+0x14/0x30 __kasan_kmalloc+0x7f/0x90 __kmalloc_noprof+0x246/0x6f0 iavf_watchdog_task+0x28fc/0x3230 process_one_work+0x7fd/0x1420 worker_thread+0x4d1/0xd40 kthread+0x344/0x660 ret_from_fork+0x249/0x320 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 The buggy address belongs to the object at ffff888102c50100 which belongs to the cache kmalloc-64 of size 64 The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of allocated 52-byte region [ffff888102c50100, ffff888102c50134) The buggy address belongs to the physical page: page: refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0x0 pfn:0x102c50 flags: 0x200000000000000(node=0|zone=2) page_type: f5(slab) raw: 0200000000000000 ffff8881000418c0 dead000000000122 0000000000000000 raw: 0000000000000000 0000000080200020 00000000f5000000 0000000000000000 page dumped because: kasan: bad access detected Memory state around the buggy address: ffff888102c50000: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc ffff888102c50080: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc >ffff888102c50100: 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc ^ ffff888102c50180: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc ffff888102c50200: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc
CVE-2026-28520 1 Tuya 1 Arduino-tuyaopen 2026-03-17 N/A 8.4 HIGH

CVE-2026-26309 1 Envoyproxy 1 Envoy 2026-03-11 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Envoy is a high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. Prior to 1.37.1, 1.36.5, 1.35.8, and 1.34.13, an off-by-one write in Envoy::JsonEscaper::escapeString() can corrupt std::string null-termination, causing undefined behavior and potentially leading to crashes or out-of-bounds reads when the resulting string is later treated as a C-string. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.37.1, 1.36.5, 1.35.8, and 1.34.13.
CVE-2026-25989 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-02-24 N/A 7.5 HIGH
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, a crafted SVG file can cause a denial of service. An off-by-one boundary check (`>` instead of `>=`) that allows bypass the guard and reach an undefined `(size_t)` cast. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch.
CVE-2026-21870 1 Bacnetstack 1 Bacnet Stack 2026-02-18 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
BACnet Protocol Stack library provides a BACnet application layer, network layer and media access (MAC) layer communications services. In 1.4.2, 1.5.0.rc2, and earlier, an off-by-one stack-based buffer overflow in the ubasic interpreter causes a crash (SIGABRT) when processing string literals longer than the buffer limit. The tokenizer_string function in src/bacnet/basic/program/ubasic/tokenizer.c incorrectly handles null termination for maximum-length strings. It writes a null byte to dest[40] when the buffer size is only 40 (indices 0-39), triggering a stack overflow.
CVE-2026-23951 1 Sumatrapdfreader 1 Sumatrapdf 2026-02-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. All versions contain an off-by-one error in the validation code that only triggers with exactly 2 records, causing an integer underflow in the size calculation. This bug exists in PalmDbReader::GetRecord when opening a crafted Mobi file, resulting in an out-of-bounds heap read that crashes the app. There are no published fixes at the time of publication.
CVE-2022-50428 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-20 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix off-by-one errors in fast-commit block filling Due to several different off-by-one errors, or perhaps due to a late change in design that wasn't fully reflected in the code that was actually merged, there are several very strange constraints on how fast-commit blocks are filled with tlv entries: - tlvs must start at least 10 bytes before the end of the block, even though the minimum tlv length is 8. Otherwise, the replay code will ignore them. (BUG: ext4_fc_reserve_space() could violate this requirement if called with a len of blocksize - 9 or blocksize - 8. Fortunately, this doesn't seem to happen currently.) - tlvs must end at least 1 byte before the end of the block. Otherwise the replay code will consider them to be invalid. This quirk contributed to a bug (fixed by an earlier commit) where uninitialized memory was being leaked to disk in the last byte of blocks. Also, strangely these constraints don't apply to the replay code in e2fsprogs, which will accept any tlvs in the blocks (with no bounds checks at all, but that is a separate issue...). Given that this all seems to be a bug, let's fix it by just filling blocks with tlv entries in the natural way. Note that old kernels will be unable to replay fast-commit journals created by kernels that have this commit.
CVE-2024-10442 2 Syncology, Synology 5 Replication Service, Diskstation Manager, Diskstation Manager Unified Controller and 2 more 2026-01-16 N/A 10.0 CRITICAL

CVE-2025-47711 2 Nbdkit Project, Redhat 3 Nbdkit, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Advanced Virtualization 2026-01-08 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
There's a flaw in the nbdkit server when handling responses from its plugins regarding the status of data blocks. If a client makes a specific request for a very large data range, and a plugin responds with an even larger single block, the nbdkit server can encounter a critical internal error, leading to a denial-of-service.
CVE-2024-36957 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-23 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: avoid off-by-one read from userspace We try to access count + 1 byte from userspace with memdup_user(buffer, count + 1). However, the userspace only provides buffer of count bytes and only these count bytes are verified to be okay to access. To ensure the copied buffer is NUL terminated, we use memdup_user_nul instead.
CVE-2021-3999 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp 15 Debian Linux, Glibc, E-series Performance Analyzer and 12 more 2025-12-02 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in glibc. An off-by-one buffer overflow and underflow in getcwd() may lead to memory corruption when the size of the buffer is exactly 1. A local attacker who can control the input buffer and size passed to getcwd() in a setuid program could use this flaw to potentially execute arbitrary code and escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2025-38600 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-26 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
