| CVE-2026-41526 | 1 Kde | 1 Kcoreaddons | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| In KDE KCoreAddons before 6.25, KShell::quoteArgs is intended to safely quote arguments so that they can be passed to a shell command. This parsing does not adequately handle metacharacters, leading to an escape from the shell. All applications relying on this method in a security-critical path to handle user input are affected and could be exploited. In particular, because sendInput() sends a string to a terminal, a control character such as \x01 can be used during injection. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40505 | 1 Artifex | 1 Mupdf | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| MuPDF before 1.27 contains an ANSI injection vulnerability in mutool that allows attackers to inject arbitrary ANSI escape sequences through crafted PDF metadata fields. Attackers can embed malicious ANSI escape codes in PDF metadata that are passed unsanitized to terminal output when running mutool info, enabling them to manipulate terminal display for social engineering attacks such as presenting fake prompts or spoofed commands. | |||||
| CVE-2026-3108 | 1 Mattermost | 1 Mattermost Server | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.0 HIGH |
| Mattermost versions 11.2.x <= 11.2.2, 10.11.x <= 10.11.10, 11.4.x <= 11.4.0, 11.3.x <= 11.3.1 fail to sanitize user-controlled post content in the mmctl commands terminal output which allows attackers to manipulate administrator terminals via crafted messages containing ANSI and OSC escape sequences that enable screen manipulation, fake prompts, and clipboard hijacking.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00599 | |||||
| CVE-2026-35651 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| OpenClaw versions 2026.2.13 through 2026.3.24 contain an ANSI escape sequence injection vulnerability in approval prompts that allows attackers to spoof terminal output. Untrusted tool metadata can carry ANSI control sequences into approval prompts and permission logs, enabling attackers to manipulate displayed information through malicious tool titles. | |||||
| CVE-2026-26149 | 1 Microsoft | 1 Power Apps | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL |
| Improper neutralization of escape, meta, or control sequences in Microsoft Power Apps allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. | |||||
| CVE-2026-25996 | 1 Linuxfoundation | 1 Inspektor Gadget | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. String fields from eBPF events in columns output mode are rendered to the terminal without any sanitization of control characters or ANSI escape sequences. Therefore, a maliciously forged – partially or completely – event payload, coming from an observed container, might inject the escape sequences into the terminal of ig operators, with various effects. The columns output mode is the default when running ig run interactively. | |||||
| CVE-2026-23829 | 1 Axllent | 1 Mailpit | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to version 1.28.3, Mailpit's SMTP server is vulnerable to Header Injection due to an insufficient Regular Expression used to validate `RCPT TO` and `MAIL FROM` addresses. An attacker can inject arbitrary SMTP headers (or corrupt existing ones) by including carriage return characters (`\r`) in the email address. This header injection occurs because the regex intended to filter control characters fails to exclude `\r` and `\n` when used inside a character class. Version 1.28.3 fixes this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-21521 | 1 Microsoft | 1 365 Word Copilot | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| Improper neutralization of escape, meta, or control sequences in Copilot allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. | |||||
| CVE-2026-21439 | 1 Badkeys | 1 Badkeys | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| badkeys is a tool and library for checking cryptographic public keys for known vulnerabilities. In versions 0.0.15 and below, an attacker may inject content with ASCII control characters like vertical tabs, ANSI escape sequences, etc., that can create misleading output of the badkeys command-line tool. This impacts scanning DKIM keys (both --dkim and --dkim-dns), SSH keys (--ssh-lines mode), and filenames in various modes. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.16. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11362 | 1 Binary | 1 Datadog\ | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| DataDog::DogStatsd versions through 0.07 for Perl allow metric injections from event tags. DataDog::DogStatsd does not properly sanitise input, allowing metric injections of data from untrusted sources. The format_event method (used by the event method) does not validate the content of the tags, which may contain commas (allowing tags to be injected) or newlines, pipes and colons that allow metric injections. (There is an ineffective s/|//g to remove pipes, but because the pipe is not escaped, it is interpreted as a regular expression metacharacter and has no effect.) | |||||
| CVE-2025-65082 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server through environment variables set via the Apache configuration unexpectedly superseding variables calculated by the server for CGI programs. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server from 2.4.0 through 2.4.65. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.66 which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2025-64494 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.6 MEDIUM | ||
| Soft Serve is a self-hostable Git server for the command line. In versions prior to 0.10.0, there are several places where the user can insert data (e.g. names) and ANSI escape sequences are not being removed, which can then be used, for example, to show fake alerts. In the same token, git messages, when printed, are also not being sanitized. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62845 | 1 Qnap | 1 Qurouter | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.7 MEDIUM |
| An improper neutralization of escape, meta, or control sequences vulnerability has been reported to affect QHora. If a local attacker gains an administrator account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to cause unexpected behavior. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: QuRouter 2.6.3.009 and later | |||||
| CVE-2025-58160 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | N/A | ||
| tracing is a framework for instrumenting Rust programs to collect structured, event-based diagnostic information. Prior to version 0.3.20, tracing-subscriber was vulnerable to ANSI escape sequence injection attacks. Untrusted user input containing ANSI escape sequences could be injected into terminal output when logged, potentially allowing attackers to manipulate terminal title bars, clear screens or modify terminal display, and potentially mislead users through terminal manipulation. tracing-subscriber version 0.3.20 fixes this vulnerability by escaping ANSI control characters when writing events to destinations that may be printed to the terminal. A workaround involves avoiding printing logs to terminal emulators without escaping ANSI control sequences. | |||||
| CVE-2025-55754 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. Tomcat did not escape ANSI escape sequences in log messages. If Tomcat was running in a console on a Windows operating system, and the console supported ANSI escape sequences, it was possible for an attacker to use a specially crafted URL to inject ANSI escape sequences to manipulate the console and the clipboard and attempt to trick an administrator into running an attacker controlled command. While no attack vector was found, it may have been possible to mount this attack on other operating systems. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.10, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.44, from 9.0.40 through 9.0.108. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.60 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.11 or later, 10.1.45 or later or 9.0.109 or later, which fix the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2025-55193 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Active Record connects classes to relational database tables. Prior to versions 7.1.5.2, 7.2.2.2, and 8.0.2.1, the ID passed to find or similar methods may be logged without escaping. If this is directly to the terminal it may include unescaped ANSI sequences. This issue has been patched in versions 7.1.5.2, 7.2.2.2, and 8.0.2.1. | |||||
| CVE-2025-47284 | 1 Gardener | 1 Gardener | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.9 CRITICAL |
| Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service. A security vulnerability was discovered in the `gardenlet` component of Gardener prior to versions 1.116.4, 1.117.5, 1.118.2, and 1.119.0. It could allow a user with administrative privileges for a Gardener project to obtain control over the seed cluster(s) where their shoot clusters are managed. This CVE affects all Gardener installations where gardener/gardener-extension-provider-gcp is in use. Versions 1.116.4, 1.117.5, 1.118.2, and 1.119.0 fix the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2025-30089 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| gurk (aka gurk-rs) through 0.6.3 mishandles ANSI escape sequences. | |||||
| CVE-2025-25286 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Crayfish is a collection of Islandora 8 microservices, one of which, Homarus, provides FFmpeg as a microservice. Prior to Crayfish version 4.1.0, remote code execution may be possible in web-accessible installations of Homarus in certain configurations. The issue has been patched in `islandora/crayfish:4.1.0`. Some workarounds are available. The exploit requires making a request against the Homarus's `/convert` endpoint; therefore, the ability to exploit is much reduced if the microservice is not directly accessible from the Internet, so: Prevent general access from the Internet from hitting Homarus. Alternatively or additionally, configure auth in Crayfish to be more strongly required, such that requests with `Authorization` headers that do not validate are rejected before the problematic CLI interpolation occurs. | |||||
| CVE-2025-23026 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM | ||
| jte (Java Template Engine) is a secure and lightweight template engine for Java and Kotlin. In affected versions Jte HTML templates with `script` tags or script attributes that include a Javascript template string (backticks) are subject to XSS. The `javaScriptBlock` and `javaScriptAttribute` methods in the `Escape` class do not escape backticks, which are used for Javascript template strings. Dollar signs in template strings should also be escaped as well to prevent undesired interpolation. HTML templates rendered by Jte's `OwaspHtmlTemplateOutput` in versions less than or equal to `3.1.15` with `script` tags or script attributes that contain Javascript template strings (backticks) are vulnerable. Users are advised to upgrade to version 3.1.16 or later to resolve this issue. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | |||||
