CVE-2023-53465 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soundwire: qcom: fix storing port config out-of-bounds The 'qcom_swrm_ctrl->pconfig' has size of QCOM_SDW_MAX_PORTS (14), however we index it starting from 1, not 0, to match real port numbers. This can lead to writing port config past 'pconfig' bounds and overwriting next member of 'qcom_swrm_ctrl' struct. Reported also by smatch: drivers/soundwire/qcom.c:1269 qcom_swrm_get_port_config() error: buffer overflow 'ctrl->pconfig' 14 <= 14

CVE-2023-53376 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpi3mr: Use number of bits to manage bitmap sizes To allocate bitmaps, the mpi3mr driver calculates sizes of bitmaps using byte as unit. However, bitmap helper functions assume that bitmaps are allocated using unsigned long as unit. This gap causes memory access beyond the bitmap sizes and results in "BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds". The BUG was observed at firmware download to eHBA-9600. Call trace indicated that the out-of-bounds access happened in find_first_zero_bit() called from mpi3mr_send_event_ack() for miroc->evtack_cmds_bitmap. To fix the BUG, do not use bytes to manage bitmap sizes. Instead, use number of bits, and call bitmap helper functions which take number of bits as arguments. For memory allocation, call bitmap_zalloc() instead of kzalloc() and krealloc(). For memory free, call bitmap_free() instead of kfree(). For zero clear, call bitmap_clear() instead of memset(). Remove three fields for bitmap byte sizes in struct scmd_priv which are no longer required. Replace the field dev_handle_bitmap_sz with dev_handle_bitmap_bits to keep number of bits of removepend_bitmap across resize.
CVE-2023-53357 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: check slab-out-of-bounds in md_bitmap_get_counter If we write a large number to md/bitmap_set_bits, md_bitmap_checkpage() will return -EINVAL because 'page >= bitmap->pages', but the return value was not checked immediately in md_bitmap_get_counter() in order to set *blocks value and slab-out-of-bounds occurs. Move check of 'page >= bitmap->pages' to md_bitmap_get_counter() and return directly if true.
CVE-2023-53333 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: dccp: copy entire header to stack buffer, not just basic one Eric Dumazet says: nf_conntrack_dccp_packet() has an unique: dh = skb_header_pointer(skb, dataoff, sizeof(_dh), &_dh); And nothing more is 'pulled' from the packet, depending on the content. dh->dccph_doff, and/or dh->dccph_x ...) So dccp_ack_seq() is happily reading stuff past the _dh buffer. BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in nf_conntrack_dccp_packet+0x1134/0x11c0 Read of size 4 at addr ffff000128f66e0c by task syz-executor.2/29371 [..] Fix this by increasing the stack buffer to also include room for the extra sequence numbers and all the known dccp packet type headers, then pull again after the initial validation of the basic header. While at it, mark packets invalid that lack 48bit sequence bit but where RFC says the type MUST use them. Compile tested only. v2: first skb_header_pointer() now needs to adjust the size to only pull the generic header. (Eric) Heads-up: I intend to remove dccp conntrack support later this year.

Looking at the code, the current timeout is capped at 5000us. Using a base value of 100us, the current code will overflow after (1<<29). Even at values before 32, this function wraps around, perhaps unintentionally. Cap the value of the exponent used for this backoff at (1<<16) which is larger than currently necessary, but large enough to support bigger values in the future.

Another problem is the mismatched shared_cpu_map when the shared cache does not have the same index between CPUs. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: jfs_dmap: Validate db_l2nbperpage while mounting In jfs_dmap.c at line 381, BLKTODMAP is used to get a logical block number inside dbFree(). db_l2nbperpage, which is the log2 number of blocks per page, is passed as an argument to BLKTODMAP which uses it for shifting. Syzbot reported a shift out-of-bounds crash because db_l2nbperpage is too big. This happens because the large value is set without any validation in dbMount() at line 181. Thus, make sure that db_l2nbperpage is correct while mounting. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: slab-out-of-bounds read in brcmf_get_assoc_ies() Fix a slab-out-of-bounds read that occurs in kmemdup() called from brcmf_get_assoc_ies(). The bug could occur when assoc_info->req_len, data from a URB provided by a USB device, is bigger than the size of buffer which is defined as WL_EXTRA_BUF_MAX. Add the size check for req_len/resp_len of assoc_info. Found by a modified version of syzkaller. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: af_unix: fix struct pid leaks in OOB support syzbot reported struct pid leak [1]. Issue is that queue_oob() calls maybe_add_creds() which potentially holds a reference on a pid. But skb->destructor is not set (either directly or by calling unix_scm_to_skb()) This means that subsequent kfree_skb() or consume_skb() would leak this reference. In this fix, I chose to fully support scm even for the OOB message.
