CVE-2026-9016 2026-07-23 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
The Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Output Neutralization for Logs in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.0. This is due to the `log_js_errors()` AJAX handler being registered for unauthenticated users via `wp_ajax_nopriv_log_js_errors` and gated only by a nonce that is publicly disclosed in every front-end page's HTML through `wp_localize_script()` whenever JavaScript error logging is enabled, providing no real authorization barrier. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary forged entries into the site's WordPress debug log by supplying attacker-controlled values for the `message`, `script`, `lineNo`, `columnNo`, and `pageUrl` fields — enabling spoofing of error and incident records, obscuring malicious activity within fabricated log noise, and misleading administrators who rely on the log for triage. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the plugin's JavaScript error logging feature is enabled, as the requisite nonce is only published into the page HTML under that condition.
CVE-2026-45679 1 Opentelemetry 1 Ebpf Instrumentation 2026-07-22 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. Prior to version 0.9.0, OBI exports raw Redis error text as the span status message. Because Redis error replies can contain attacker-controlled or sensitive values, this behavior can exfiltrate tokens, PII, or other confidential input into telemetry backends and inject untrusted text into downstream analysis systems. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.
CVE-2026-5078 1 Morgan Project 1 Morgan 2026-07-22 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Impact: The morgan logging middleware's :remote-user token extracts the Basic auth username from the Authorization request header and writes it to the log stream without neutralizing control characters. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted Authorization Basic header containing CR or LF bytes to inject forged log lines, breaking the one-request-per-line structure of access logs and enabling log forgery against downstream log consumers. The built-in combined, common, default, and short formats are affected, as well as any custom format that references :remote-user. Affected versions: morgan 1.2.0 through 1.10.1. Patches: upgrade to morgan 1.11.0, which neutralizes control characters in the :remote-user token output. Workarounds: use a custom format string that does not include :remote-user.
CVE-2026-62948 1 Openwrt 1 Openwrt 2026-07-21 N/A 9.6 CRITICAL
OpenWrt is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to 25.12.5, odhcpd writes a DHCPv6 client FQDN option 39 hostname into /tmp/odhcpd.leases through src/statefiles.c statefiles_write_state6() and statefiles_write_state4() without escaping, allowing newline injection of forged lease lines that LuCI rpcd-mod-luci getDHCPLeases displays through htdocs/luci-static/resources/view/status/include/40_dhcp.js and htdocs/luci-static/resources/luci.js dom.append as live HTML in the Active DHCPv6 Leases admin page. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.12.5.
CVE-2026-24308 1 Apache 1 Zookeeper 2026-07-15 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Improper handling of configuration values in ZKConfig in Apache ZooKeeper 3.8.5 and 3.9.4 on all platforms allows an attacker to expose sensitive information stored in client configuration in the client's logfile. Configuration values are exposed at INFO level logging rendering potential production systems affected by the issue. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.6 or 3.9.5 which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-12616 2026-06-29 N/A N/A
The /v1/upload/sbom endpoint extracts the iss claim from the attacker-supplied JWT with signature verification disabled, then interpolates that string into three log statements before any validation gate. Because the configured log format ("%(asctime)s - %(name)s - %(levelname)s - %(message)s") renders newlines literally, an unauthenticated attacker can forge log records that are byte-for-byte indistinguishable from PIA's genuine "Successfully authenticated project" message. PIA is an authentication broker whose logs are explicitly relied upon for incident response (DESIGN.md §5.4 lists "Token verifications" and "Errors" as events to log), so the ability to plant fake auth-success entries directly undermines the audit trail the service exists to produce.
CVE-2023-6484 2026-06-26 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
A log injection flaw was found in Keycloak. A text string may be injected through the authentication form when using the WebAuthn authentication mode. This issue may have a minor impact to the logs integrity.
CVE-2026-10745 2026-06-25 N/A N/A
Improper output neutralization for logs vulnerability in upKeeper Solutions upKeeper Instant Privilege Access on Windows allows Log Injection-Tampering-Forging. This issue affects upKeeper Instant Privilege Access: through 1.6.1.
CVE-2026-6494 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the AAP MCP server. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a log injection vulnerability by sending specially crafted input to the `toolsetroute` parameter. This parameter is not properly sanitized before being written to logs, allowing the attacker to inject control characters such as newlines and ANSI escape sequences. This enables the attacker to obscure legitimate log entries and insert forged ones, which could facilitate social engineering attacks, potentially leading to an operator executing dangerous commands or visiting malicious URLs.
CVE-2026-45565 2026-06-17 N/A 8.1 HIGH
Roxy-WI is a web interface for managing Haproxy, Nginx, Apache and Keepalived servers. In versions 8.2.6.4 and prior, EscapedString (app/modules/roxywi/class_models.py:16-30) is the centralised Pydantic validator used on dozens of fields including SSH credential name, username, description, etc. Its if/elif/elif/else flow returns the metacharacter-stripped value without also enforcing the .. block. An attacker who appends a single ;, &, |, $, or backtick to a .. payload routes the value through the strip arm, where .. survives unblocked and the result is not shlex.quote()'d either. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
CVE-2026-34478 1 Apache 1 Log4j 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Apache Log4j Core's Rfc5424Layout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/layouts.html#RFC5424Layout , in versions 2.21.0 through 2.25.3, is vulnerable to log injection via CRLF sequences due to undocumented renames of security-relevant configuration attributes. Two distinct issues affect users of stream-based syslog services who configure Rfc5424Layout directly: * The newLineEscape attribute was silently renamed, causing newline escaping to stop working for users of TCP framing (RFC 6587), exposing them to CRLF injection in log output. * The useTlsMessageFormat attribute was silently renamed, causing users of TLS framing (RFC 5425) to be silently downgraded to unframed TCP (RFC 6587), without newline escaping. Users of the SyslogAppender are not affected, as its configuration attributes were not modified. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j Core 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
CVE-2026-25548 1 Invoiceplane 1 Invoiceplane 2026-06-17 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. A critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in InvoicePlane 1.7.0 through a chained Local File Inclusion (LFI) and Log Poisoning attack. An authenticated administrator can execute arbitrary system commands on the server by manipulating the `public_invoice_template` setting to include poisoned log files containing PHP code. Version 1.7.1 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-20260 2026-06-17 N/A 4.3 MEDIUM
In Splunk SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) versions below 8.5.0, an unauthenticated attacker could inject American National Standards Institute (ANSI) escape codes into SOAR application log files through specially crafted HTTP request paths, which a terminal emulator might interpret when an administrator views the logs.<br><br>The injection is possible because SOAR does not strip control characters from HTTP request paths before writing them to application logs.
CVE-2026-1337 1 Neo4j 1 Neo4j 2026-06-17 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
Insufficient escaping of unicode characters in query log in Neo4j Enterprise and Community editions prior to 2026.01 can lead to XSS if the user opens the logs in a tool that treats them as HTML. There is no security impact on Neo4j products, but this advisory is released as a precaution to treat the logs as plain text if using versions prior to 2026.01. Proof of concept exploit:  https://github.com/JoakimBulow/CVE-2026-1337
CVE-2025-66577 1 Yhirose 1 Cpp-httplib 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
cpp-httplib is a C++11 single-file header-only cross platform HTTP/HTTPS library. Prior to 0.27.0, a vulnerability allows attacker-controlled HTTP headers to influence server-visible metadata, logging, and authorization decisions. An attacker can supply X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP headers which get accepted unconditionally by get_client_ip() in docker/main.cc, causing access and error logs (nginx_access_logger / nginx_error_logger) to record spoofed client IPs (log poisoning / audit evasion). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.27.0.
CVE-2025-59784 1 2n 1 Access Commander 2026-06-17 N/A 7.2 HIGH
2N Access Commander version 3.4.1 and prior is vulnerable to log pollution. Certain parameters sent over API may be included in the logs without prior validation or sanitisation. This vulnerability can only be exploited after authenticating with administrator privileges.
CVE-2025-59476 1 Jenkins 1 Jenkins 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Jenkins 2.527 and earlier, LTS 2.516.2 and earlier does not restrict or transform the characters that can be inserted from user-specified content in log messages, allowing attackers able to control log message contents to insert line break characters, followed by forged log messages that may mislead administrators reviewing log output.
CVE-2025-58580 1 Sick 1 Enterprise Analytics 2026-06-17 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
An API endpoint allows arbitrary log entries to be created via POST request. Without sufficient validation of the input data, an attacker can create manipulated log entries and thus falsify or dilute logs, for example.
CVE-2025-57564 2026-06-17 N/A 8.2 HIGH
CubeAPM nightly-2025-08-01-1 allow unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary log entries into production systems via the /api/logs/insert/elasticsearch/_bulk endpoint. This endpoint accepts bulk log data without requiring authentication or input validation, allowing remote attackers to perform unauthorized log injection. Exploitation may lead to false log entries, log poisoning, alert obfuscation, and potential performance degradation of the observability pipeline. The issue is present in the core CubeAPM platform and is not limited to specific deployment configurations.
CVE-2025-54813 1 Apache 1 Log4cxx 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in Apache Log4cxx. When using JSONLayout, not all payload bytes are properly escaped. If an attacker-supplied message contains certain non-printable characters, these will be passed along in the message and written out as part of the JSON message. This may prevent applications that consume these logs from correctly interpreting the information within them. This issue affects Apache Log4cxx: before 1.5.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.5.0, which fixes the issue.
