CVE-2026-44713 2026-06-17 N/A 8.8 HIGH
pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using ordinary removable media. Prior to 0.8.7, src/tmux.c reads the user's $TMUX environment variable, splits it on commas, and interpolates the socket-path component directly into a shell command passed to popen(). Because the value is placed inside double-quotes without sanitisation, any value containing " terminates the quoted string and injects arbitrary shell syntax. popen() runs as root inside the PAM stack. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.7.
CVE-2026-44588 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, he tooltip mouseover handler in app/src/block/popover.ts reads aria-label via getAttribute and passes it through decodeURIComponent before assigning to messageElement.innerHTML in app/src/dialog/tooltip.ts:41. The encoder used at the producer side, escapeAriaLabel in app/src/util/escape.ts:19-25, only handles HTML special characters (", ', <, literal &lt;) — it leaves %XX URL-escapes untouched. So a doc title containing %3Cimg src=x onerror=...%3E round-trips through escapeAriaLabel and the HTML attribute layer unmodified. Then decodeURIComponent on the consumer side converts %3C to a literal < character (a real <, NOT a character reference). When that string is assigned to innerHTML, the HTML5 tokenizer enters TagOpenState on the literal <, parses the <img> element, and the onerror handler fires. Because the renderer runs with nodeIntegration: true, contextIsolation: false, webSecurity: false (app/electron/main.js:407-411), require('child_process') is reachable from the injected handler, escalating to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
CVE-2026-44458 1 Hono 1 Hono 2026-06-17 N/A 4.3 MEDIUM
Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.18, the JSX renderer escapes style attribute object values for HTML but not for CSS. Untrusted input in a style object value or property name can therefore inject additional CSS declarations into the rendered style attribute. The impact is limited to CSS and does not allow JavaScript execution or HTML attribute breakout. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.18.
CVE-2026-44429 1 Lfprojects 1 Mcp Registry 2026-06-17 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
The MCP Registry provides MCP clients with a list of MCP servers, like an app store for MCP servers. Prior to 1.7.7, the public catalogue UI served at GET / (file internal/api/handlers/v0/ui_index.html) is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting via the server.websiteUrl field of any published server.json. Server-side validation in internal/validators/validators.go (validateWebsiteURL) only checks that the URL parses, is absolute, and uses the https scheme; it does not reject quote characters. Client-side, the value is interpolated into a double-quoted href attribute via innerHTML, using a homegrown escapeHtml helper that performs the standard textContent → innerHTML round-trip. Per the HTML serialisation algorithm, that round-trip encodes only &, <, > and U+00A0 inside text nodes — it does not encode " or '. A literal " in websiteUrl therefore breaks out of the href attribute, allowing arbitrary on* event handlers to be appended to the same <a> element. The Content-Security-Policy on / is script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' https://cdn.tailwindcss.com, so the injected event handlers execute. Any user able to obtain a publish token (e.g. via POST /v0/auth/github-at with their own GitHub account, or POST /v0/auth/none on a deployment that has anonymous auth enabled) can plant a poisoned record visible to every visitor of the registry homepage. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.7.
CVE-2026-43939 2026-06-17 N/A 7.3 HIGH
YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5 and 3.2.12, the thread posting and reply feature accepts user-supplied content via a a post or reply that is stored server-side and later rendered back into the thread page without adequate HTML sanitization or contextual output encoding. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.2.12.
CVE-2026-43938 2026-06-17 N/A 8.1 HIGH
YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5 and 3.2.12, the application's database logger (YAFNET.Core/Logger/DbLogger.cs) captures the incoming request's User-Agent header into a JObject, serializes it with JsonConvert, and stores the result in the EventLog.Description column whenever an event (e.g., an unhandled exception) is logged. The admin event-log page (YetAnotherForum.NET/Pages/Admin/EventLog.cshtml.cs) later deserializes that JSON in FormatStackTrace() and interpolates the UserAgent value directly into an HTML string with no encoding, and the Razor view EventLog.cshtml emits the result through @Html.Raw. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.2.12.
CVE-2026-42810 1 Apache 1 Polaris 2026-06-17 N/A 9.9 CRITICAL
Apache Polaris accepts literal `*` characters in namespace and table names. When it later builds temporary S3 access policies for delegated table access, those same characters appear to be reused unescaped in S3 IAM resource patterns and `s3:prefix` conditions. In S3 IAM policy matching, `*` is treated as a wildcard rather than as ordinary text. That means temporary credentials issued for one crafted table can match the storage path of a different table. In private testing against Polaris 1.4.0 using Polaris' AWS S3 temporary- credential path on both MinIO and real AWS S3, credentials returned for crafted tables such as `f*.t1`, `f*.*`, `*.*`, and `foo.*` could reach other tables' S3 locations. The confirmed behavior includes: - reading another table's metadata control file ([Iceberg metadata JSON]); - listing another table's exact S3 table prefix ([table prefix]); - and, when write delegation was returned for the crafted table, creating and deleting an object under another table's exact S3 table prefix. A control case using ordinary different names did not allow the same cross-table access. A least-privilege AWS S3 variant was also confirmed in which the attacker principal had no Polaris permissions on the victim table and only the minimal permissions required to create and use a crafted wildcard table (namespace-scoped `TABLE_CREATE` and `TABLE_WRITE_DATA` on `*`). In that setup, direct Polaris access to `foo.t1` remained forbidden, but the attacker could still create and load `*.*`, receive delegated S3 credentials, and use those credentials to list, read, create, and delete objects under `foo.t1`. In Iceberg, the metadata JSON file is a control file: it tells readers which data files belong to the table, which snapshots exist, and which table version to read. So unauthorized access to it is already a meaningful confidentiality problem. The confirmed write-capable variant means the issue is not limited to disclosure.
CVE-2026-42558 2026-06-17 N/A 7.6 HIGH
Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. Prior to 4.4.2, a vulnerability chain consisting of Stored XSS and Iframe Sandbox escape in the Xibo CMS allows users with DataSet permissions to use the Data Connector functionality to craft messages which escape the sandbox and facilitate XSS. Exploitation of the vulnerability is possible on behalf of an authorized user who has both of the following privileges, which are not granted to non-admins as standard: Include "Add DataSet" button to allow for additional DataSets to be created independently to Layouts Users should upgrade to version 4.4.2 which fixes this issue. Upgrading to a fixed version is necessary to remediate. Users unable to upgrade should revoke such privileges from users they do not trust.
CVE-2026-42321 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
GLPI is a free asset and IT management software package. Starting in version 10.0.4 and prior to version 10.0.25, a technician can store an XSS payload in the asset locked tab. Upgrade to 10.0.25 or 11.0.7 to receive a patch.
CVE-2026-42040 1 Axios 1 Axios 2026-06-17 N/A 3.7 LOW
Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Prior to 1.15.1 and 0.31.1, the encode() function in lib/helpers/AxiosURLSearchParams.js contains a character mapping (charMap) at line 21 that reverses the safe percent-encoding of null bytes. After encodeURIComponent('\x00') correctly produces the safe sequence %00, the charMap entry '%00': '\x00' converts it back to a raw null byte. Primary impact is limited because the standard axios request flow is not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.15.1 and 0.31.1.
CVE-2026-41426 1 Pretalx 1 Pretalx 2026-06-17 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
pretalx is a conference planning tool. Prior to 2026.1.0, an unauthenticated attacker can send arbitrary HTML-rendered emails from a pretalx instance's configured sender address by embedding malformed HTML or markdown link syntax in a user-controlled template placeholder such as the account display name. The most direct vector is the password-reset flow: the attacker registers an account with a malicious name, enters the victim's email address, and triggers a password reset. The resulting email is delivered from the event's legitimate sender address and passes SPF/DKIM/DMARC validation, making it a ready-made phishing vector. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.1.0.
CVE-2026-41318 1 Mintplexlabs 1 Anythingllm 2026-06-17 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. Prior to version 1.12.1, AnythingLLM's in-chat markdown renderer has an unsafe custom rule for images that interpolates the markdown image's `alt` text into an HTML `alt="..."` attribute without any HTML encoding. Every call-site in the app wraps `renderMarkdown(...)` with `DOMPurify.sanitize(...)` as defense-in-depth — except the `Chartable` component, which renders chart captions with no sanitization. The chart caption is the natural-language text the LLM emits around a `create-chart` tool call, so any attacker who can influence the LLM's output — most cheaply via indirect prompt injection in a shared workspace document, or directly if they can create a chart record in a multi-user workspace — can trigger stored DOM-level XSS in every other user's browser when they open that conversation. AnythingLLM chat history is loaded server-side via `GET /api/workspace/:slug/chats` and rendered directly into the chat UI. Version 1.12.1 contains a patch for this issue.
CVE-2026-40871 2026-06-17 N/A 7.2 HIGH
mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. Versions prior to 2026-03b have a second-order SQL injection vulnerability in the quarantine_category field via the Mailcow API. The /api/v1/add/mailbox endpoint stores quarantine_category without validation or sanitization. This value is later used by quarantine_notify.py, which constructs SQL queries using unsafe % string formatting instead of parameterized queries. This results in a delayed (second-order) SQL injection when the quarantine notification job executes, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary SQL. Using a UNION SELECT, sensitive data (e.g., admin credentials) can be exfiltrated and rendered inside quarantine notification emails. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.
CVE-2026-40593 2026-06-17 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. In versions prior to 7.2.0, the User Editor (UserEditor.php) renders stored usernames directly into an HTML input value attribute without applying htmlspecialchars(). An administrator can save a username containing HTML attribute-breaking characters and event handlers, which execute in the browser of any administrator who subsequently views that user's editor page, resulting in stored XSS. This issue has been fixed in version 7.2.0.
CVE-2026-40568 2026-06-17 N/A 8.5 HIGH
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Versions prior to 1.8.213 have a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the mailbox signature feature. The sanitization function `Helper::stripDangerousTags()` (`app/Misc/Helper.php:568`) uses an incomplete blocklist of only four HTML tags (`script`, `form`, `iframe`, `object`) and does not remove event handler attributes. When a mailbox signature is saved via `MailboxesController::updateSave()` (`app/Http/Controllers/MailboxesController.php:267`), HTML elements such as `<img>`, `<svg>`, and `<details>` with event handler attributes like `onerror` and `onload` pass through sanitization unchanged and are stored in the database. The signature is then rendered as raw HTML via the Blade `{!! !!}` tag in `editor_bottom_toolbar.blade.php:6` and re-inserted into the visible DOM by jQuery `.html()` at `main.js:1789-1790`, triggering the injected event handlers. Any authenticated user with the `ACCESS_PERM_SIGNATURE` (`sig`) permission on a mailbox -- a delegatable, non-admin permission -- can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the mailbox signature. The payload fires automatically, with no victim interaction, whenever any agent or administrator opens any conversation in the affected mailbox. This enables session hijacking (under CSP bypass conditions such as IE11 or module-weakened CSP), phishing overlays that work in all browsers regardless of CSP, and chaining to admin-level actions including email exfiltration via mass assignment and self-propagating worm behavior across all mailboxes. Version 1.8.213 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-40567 2026-06-17 N/A 5.8 MEDIUM
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.213, an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary HTML into outgoing emails generated by FreeScout by sending an email with a crafted From display name. The name is stored in the database without sanitization and rendered unescaped into outgoing reply emails via the `{%customer.fullName%}` signature variable. This allows embedding phishing links, tracking pixels, and spoofed content inside legitimate support emails sent from the organization's address. Version 1.8.213 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-40483 2026-06-17 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. In versions prior to 7.2.0, the Pledge Editor renders donation comment values directly into HTML input value attributes without escaping via htmlspecialchars(). An authenticated user with Finance permissions can inject HTML attribute-breaking characters and event handlers into the comment field, which are stored in the database and execute in the browser of any user who subsequently opens the pledge record for editing, resulting in stored XSS. This issue has been fixed in version 7.2.0.
CVE-2026-40302 1 Netfoundry 1 Zrok 2026-06-17 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
zrok is software for sharing web services, files, and network resources. Prior to version 2.0.1, the proxyUi template engine uses Go's text/template (which performs no HTML escaping) instead of html/template. The GitHub OAuth callback handlers in both publicProxy and dynamicProxy embed the attacker-controlled refreshInterval query parameter verbatim into an error message when time.ParseDuration fails, and render that error unescaped into HTML. An attacker can deliver a crafted login URL to a victim; after the victim completes the GitHub OAuth flow, the callback page executes arbitrary JavaScript in the OAuth server's origin. Version 2.0.1 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-40023 1 Apache 1 Log4cxx 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Apache Log4cxx's XMLLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/1.7.0/classlog4cxx_1_1xml_1_1XMLLayout.html , in versions before 1.7.0, fails to sanitize characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 specification https://www.w3.org/TR/xml/#charsets in log messages, NDC, and MDC property keys and values, producing invalid XML output. Conforming XML parsers must reject such documents with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log processing systems to drop or fail to index affected records. An attacker who can influence logged data can exploit this to suppress individual log records, impairing audit trails and detection of malicious activity. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4cxx 1.7.0, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-40021 1 Apache 1 Log4net 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Apache Log4net's XmlLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4net/manual/configuration/layouts.html#layout-list and XmlLayoutSchemaLog4J https://logging.apache.org/log4net/manual/configuration/layouts.html#layout-list , in versions before 3.3.0, fail to sanitize characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 specification https://www.w3.org/TR/xml/#charsets in MDC property keys and values, as well as the identity field that may carry attacker-influenced data. This causes an exception during serialization and the silent loss of the affected log event. An attacker who can influence any of these fields can exploit this to suppress individual log records, impairing audit trails and detection of malicious activity. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4net 3.3.0, which fixes this issue.
